      Very disappointed! Purchased an expensive ring supposedly in excellent condition to find out one of the prongs was defective which caused a diamond to fall off. It had ONLY been 3 weeks from purchase. They would not repair, replace or credit me. Beware their customer service is terrible!!!!! I dont trust their stated condition totally unreliable!

      Beware......The RealReal has become REALLY TERRIBLE. They are not verifying authenticity of gold items they are selling, and selling as pure 14k or 18K items that are gold filled or plated. I have been verifying with my jewler via electronic testing machine and it is happening more and more frequently!!

      I ordered a bag and had picked out express shipping only for the shipment to be delivered to the mail room and now my address which resulted in my package being stolen and the real real refuses to refund me or credit me $988 they told me that only that are $5000 are insured.I specifically added my apartment umber and the delivery person did not deliver my package to my door.

      This company is a complete joke. I worked there for over seven months and now that I am out I have not received my W2 tax forum. I have contacted this company several times over and nothing. I have called them several time where I have been denied to speak to a manager and even when I finally go through to one they barely helped me out. This has been going on for over a month now and I am ready to get my lawyer involved as well as the IRS.
      Do not work for this company or buy from them.

      They are liars. Do not buy from them. You will regret it. I bought a ************* handbag and could tell it was fake when I unpacked it. They would not refund my money. They are stealing. I am going to have to file a lawsuit.

      For starters they barely have people speaking English for customer service that you can understand them. I called 3x about them accepting bottom half of a pj set and rejecting the shirt because brand when last week they accepted that brand all 4 items I sent were active on the website. I called multiple times asking for them just ship back the items to me since all of sudden they dont accept them. I was promised a tracking code by end of the day and to no avail I didnt receive one they still continued to advertise the bottoms and the rest of garments I sent in as available on website. I am beyond upset and just want my items back! They have lost a seller/customer.

      BBB *****, how the h*** can you give a business an A+ when you have multiple unfinished cases of outright theft from their customers on a regular basis? I know how, you're not getting paid by the customer but by the businesses. Your loyalties are and have always been to the dollar.

      Horrible! Bought a ***** ***** necklace that was not authentic. All pictures provided proved that characteristics of ** were not accounted for with the item I purchased. I have been trying to get a return processed but keep getting the run around as they hope I ride off into the sunset and they keep my $6,500. These are amateur authentication team members. Buyer Beware!!

      Awful quality control. 3 garments were listed as excellent condition but had a broken split zipper which I didnt realize until later. They refused to do anything and said I could consign it back because it was outside of the return window. I straight up didnt receive an item once but didnt receive a response. I had a set only ship one part of the item (a skirt and top) and they offered me a $15 dollar credit lol. Ive had items which were far from the listed size and been sold what looks like fake items. At this point it feels like theyre willing engaging in fraud by misrepresenting items due to their lack of quality control.

      I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the abysmal experience I have had consigning my luxury items with The *********. I feel compelled to warn others against entrusting their valuable possessions to their service. First and foremost, the commission structure is outrageously skewed in favor of The ********* with the company taking 80% of the sale price of items sold under $200 and leaving the client with a paltry 20%. This exploitative practice undermines the very essence of a consignment relationship, which should be built on fairness and transparency. Despite an agreed-upon minimum price point, my luxury items were consistently underpriced and discounted without my consent. This is nothing short of a bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me with meager returns on high-value items. This is not an isolated incident but part of a broader pattern of questionable practices that indicate a lack of integrity with their operation. For example, a custom made pair of men's ********* Ferragamo leather monk strap boots, which I originally purchased for $1800, was listed by their platform for a mere $175, only to be further discounted to and sold at $122.50. Despite my explicit instructions to their outsourced foreign customer service team not to sell the boots below $250. I will receive a disgraceful commission of just $37. Additionally, The ********* lost my cashmere **** Saint ******* men's suit in shipping, falsely claiming it was delivered to my address, and tried to low ball me on compensation .This level of negligence is completely unacceptable for a company that claims to specialize in luxury goods and has further eroded any remaining trust I had. The Real Real's practices are not only unprofessional but border on predatory. I am sharing my experience to protect others from the stress and financial loss. Their failure to address my concerns , left me with no choice but to escalate this matter through consumer protection agencies & public reviews
