I made a payment to my account for my last month bill and I called in earlier this month to make sure that I was still on my payment plan and I was informed by their representative that I was still on my payment plan. So this morning I get a 48 hr disconnected text from them, so I give them call to see what's going on and was told that I was removed from the payment plan due to non-payment. I had to talk to two supervisors about my bill, I told them to go back and listen to the recording and they both said no they don't need to listen to the recording and they can remove me from the payment plan even though their representative gave me the wrong information.

Absolute criminals. PG&E double billed me for 6 months of service after I paid each month in full. 6 months later they decided I as a single person used double power and billed me exactly what I paid the previous 6 months. I refused to pay and 8 months later they shut my power off all the while I have been paying my monthly service I truly used. I have sued them 4 times in small claims court and won each time. Back to court to sue these corrupt criminals yet again. This state does nothing to these cheating murders.

On February 28, I experienced a power outage lasting approximately 18 hours, from 9 PM to 3 PM the following day(Also I could not open lunch hours). As the owner of a restaurant, I instructed my kitchen team to discard all food intended for the lunch service, as it had been held at unsafe temperatures for over 18 hours without power. Consequently, I submitted a claim to PG&E for the average lunch sales, as it was unrealistic to expect that I could sell the prepared lunch items.
However, PG&E cited Electric Tariff Rule 14 and denied my request. The power outage was unexpected, and PG&E provided inaccurate repair time estimates, revising them four times. This uncertainty significantly impacted my ability to recover and restock necessary food supplies.
PG&E must take greater responsibility for the reliability of its service. This issue extends beyond mere inconvenience—it directly affects businesses and food safety. I could not, in good conscience, instruct my team to use food that may have been compromised. However, it is concerning to consider that some other businesses may have unknowingly or negligently used food that was potentially temperature-contaminated due to PG&E’s inadequate response to such outages.
I urge the government to review PG&E’s outage policies, particularly as they relate to restaurant businesses, to ensure greater accountability and food safety protections.

PG&E needs to be investigated, they are obviously a monopoly and I dont understand how the government is still allowing this. My bill more than TRIPLED including gas and electricity. My bill was over $400 for a 2 person house hold, and we are out of the house at least 10hrs out of the day! How is this possible? These up charges are for so-called improvements but we still have regular outages in my area. Where is the money going?? Why is it getting to the point where we have to choose between having the lights on or turning the heater on to stay warm because the charges are so high! PG&E is literally making up charges as they go along, to charge poor unknowing customers, who are powerless against this mammoth of a company! When is the government going to step in and say ENOUGH!

I think the *** is benefiting from PGE RATE INCREASES. They arent working for the customer, but have multiple times, approved these rate increases. My PGE bill is outrageous and its only for gas. My most recent PGE bill was $434.65 and again thats just for gas. I have solar panels so I receive a true up bill in May, for my 1 year for electric..My bill is extremely high for gas and I conserve, keeping it low or off to keep my bill down, but then, I am still very cold inside my own home. I dont know if its from rate increases or from ********************* but either way its gouging. I dont live in a fire zone, yet, I have to pay for those that do. Doesnt sound fair, does it. Its where you choose to live, and you cant tell me that they wouldnt know the issues that come along with living in remote areas, Even to response time. Im just tired of paying for everyone else.s choices.

Diamond at PG&E is so dumb that she can't entertain the notion that my account was hacked and provided customer service in line with a government robot who has no brain cells. California corruption at it's best. Watch out for your account getting hacked and 0 help from PG&E

This company should be investigated for lack of transparency with regards to billing issues. I have tried without success on numerous occasions to reach a person with questions about my billing. I am routed through a bunch of recordings without ever talking to an individual about my account.A class action lawsuit is probably the only way to get through but then they will just increase our rates to pay attorney fees. An F rating is well deserved but obviously uncompelling! ***** S

Absolute criminal company, with the ************************************** in their pocket. Outrageous rates with never ending hikes, 4 rates hikes in 2024 alone! Whistleblowers have proven PG&E was negligent and only cared about profits over maintaining old out dated equipment. Now we the customer are paying for their felonious acts! Appalling company, appalling state oversight, and an appalling Governor who allows all of it to continue.
