      On October 10, 2022. I received an email from Checkr my background check is complete and on the same day I started back working with Uber Eats. But on 10/17/22 my account has been deactivated and **** said Checkr is still conducting my background check.When I looked at my account Checkr put my last name as my first name and my 1st name as has my last and middle name and again I was told they have not received a reply from ************ Judiciary the department that issue clearance for driving abstract.Checkr is playing games with or sabotaging my background check.I called up Uber but I told to talk to Checkr. I sent emails to Checkr several times and I got a response that it will take 2 days to get from ************ Judiciary of my driving history. But because Checkr messed up my name as stated above, I wont have a clearance. The irony is, Checkr cleared my criminal record with my correct name but messed up my names with my driving abstract history.The background check conducted 9/26/22 and labeled suspended in Checkr candidate portal.Checkr has to issue me clearance because both my criminal & driving abstract history are spotless.

      I have been waiting for over a week for a background check to be completed for Lyft. The estimated completion date changed twice. I have gotten a background check run recently for another purpose it only took 3 days something is seriously wrong here. I honestly feel like Checkr isn't been honest about these reports. Why can't we get a response from a real person?

      Check, **** collected personal data from me for background check and contracting purposes with ***** ****. Checkr, Inc. has been unable to complete my background check within a reasonable period. I've contacted Checkr, Inc. numerous times without success. I lost trust in Checkr, Inc. services. I am now concerned about my personal data security while in Checkr's possession. I've provided them with a copy of my driver's license and wish to know if there have been any data breaches I should know about. I look forward to hearing from Checkr, Inc.

      Our Privacy Policy contains details on how we secure data received through Checkrs products and services, including how we protect both candidate and client information. For example, we implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we obtain through our products and services. This includes encryption of information as well as authentication safeguards. We retain personally identifiable information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and as otherwise required for legal compliance purposes. Information we retain *** include your drivers license or social security number, and we retain such information to process background checks, respond to consumer requests to access background checks conducted about them, or as otherwise required by law.With regard to our encryption methods, Checkr transmits data over public networks using strong encryption. This includes data transmitted between Checkr clients and the Checkr service. Checkr supports the latest recommended secure cipher suites to encrypt all traffic in transit, including use of TLS 1.2 protocols, AES256 encryption, and SHA2 signatures, as supported by the clients. Checkr encrypts data in transit and at rest.

      While most reports do complete in 3 to 7 business days, some can take longer depending on the counties and courts being searched.

      Your background check appears to be proceeding normally; we are just still waiting for search results to be returned.

      This company ran my background check a while back and when my license expired they ran it again.As you can see they clearly put the wrong driver's license number in showing up my license is null.CLEARLY THEY CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LETTER C OR G.Haven't been able to do my side gig driving for Uber for over 2 months now because of this. ( Drive for other side gigs...with NO PROBLEM) TRYING TO CONTACT THROUGH CUSTOMERS SUPPORT AS A JOKE SPENT 2 HOURS ON HOLD WAITING FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE AND THEN WAS ABRUPTLY DISCONNECTED.SENT AN EMAIL AND A CANNED RESPONSE WAS YOU CAN SEE YOUR BACKGROUND THROUGH TO CANDIDATE PORTAL........ WHICH THEY DID NOTHING TO CHANGE STILL HAS THE WRONG INFORMATION.BY THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS THIS COMPANY HAS RECEIVED I CAN CLEARLY SEE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE

      Uber ordered a Motor Vehicle Report on 8/2/22 and it completed the same day with a Clear status. 

      Uber provided an updated driver's license number on 8/5/22 and ordered a new report that day. The license number provided was ******** which is why is it showing as Not Found on your report. However, we have since updated your license number to ******** on that same report ordered on 8/5/22 and the license status is showing as Valid. The report status is also showing as Clear. 

      Checkr does not assess the information on your report, make recommendations, or determine a partys requirements regarding employment. If you have questions about the company's decision, please reach out to the company you applied with.

      I was denied employment from Via driving service due to a. Of us report these buffoons refuse to correct. They pulled some report saying I had failed to pay fines on it record which is not true. Ive passed dozens of background checks recently with the exact same garbage company and this didnt come up at all and they need to get this resolved immediately.

      I received an email from checkr on October 3rd stating my background for Uber in ********, ************** was complete but when I went to the website to see the results it says that my background check is still pending. I called and they said it would be done on the 5th. I went to check today and it has been pushed back. I do not know why checkr would email me saying my background was finished when it is not finished.

      So since Aug 15 2022 yall started running my background check now almost two months later Im still getting the same excuses and not a single straight answer. I have had other companies run a full background check and they had it completed in two to three weeks *** and that was for a driving job with a very well known company, so how does it take yall 2 plus months to complete yalls jobs yall let me know yall can only do 5 requests at a time well Uber eats only wants to see 7 years back witch means yall are just simple taking your sweet time to complete this, yall are a joke why cant you answer very simple straight up questions with an actual answer not sone bs you think Im going to believe. Give me straight up answer or yall need to figure out 7 year search means 7 year criminal search yall might only see one thing within that time line trust me I know I already called the court houses not only did they let me know what yall would see they also let me know there was zero request for my criminal history. Call yalls CEOs ********** helping people get jobs by taking multiple months to complete a criminal background check.Do not respond unless you plan on answering my questions with actual answer or unless you are letting me know yall are a joke and tried looking to far and yall can apologize for being the slowest and least communicative company I have had to deal with. Stop making excuse and trying to tell me some scripted bs. Honestly yall should have to pay out people for lost wages yeah I know we should all *** you why should we waist anymore money on yall your CEOs need to start weighting checks or hopefully yall will get ***d enough and will have to shut down

      We're experiencing a temporary delay in completing your background check due to recent changes in the record keeping policies in the *******************. As of September 2021, changes have been made that limit the public availability of court record information in the *******************. Checkr, as well as other background check providers, is affected by this change. With less information publicly available, the background check process requires more time to complete, sometimes resulting in long delays. 

      Please also understand that different companies have different requirements for what is searched during the background check process. As a result, different reports may experience variance in completion times. Your background check is in the final stage of completing county searches.
