      I paid Checkr for a fee to run my background check just to ensure that my reports are accurate and up to date. I have discovered that upon receiving the background check report and I noticed that was a discrepancy and I have asked Checkr multiple times to correct the record on their end but I never received a response. I would like Checkr to either refund me or to correct the background record.

      I have lost my job as a result to check R egregious move By providing inaccurate information on my background check to my employer. I had a charge and was not convicted of this charge and this Company prematurely Re ran my background check after already doing my annual background check and provided my employer with information that was inaccurate. I was charged for a crime however was never convicted. I lost my job as a result to the actions of this company. I have tried reaching out to the company and they never responded.

       I reject the response of the business. The generated message sent to me was not addressing my concerns.  I lost my job as a result to this company and have been having a difficult time getting it back as I was not convicted of a crime this company reported. They shouldn't report things to people's employers when it's premature in the case and without the conviction. People have families to support and take care of and this company needs to be Put out of business because of their unethical practices

      Good morning!  I Was provided a deadline to respond within 5 days.   I was unable to respond due to my newborn baby being extremely ill  I have been back and forth in the hospital.  This matter remains unresolved. I am only trying to get the company to update their record because they cost me my job with inaccuracies in their report.

      I loved in there and it didn't give me the opportunity to attach anything to forward to the business.    This business  ***** maturely ran a background check Without my permission after already completing a annual background check a month prior.  They reported premature information to my employer causing me to get fired from my job of 10 years.  I just gave birth to a new born baby and have been without a job as a result to their actions.  I contacted **** and they said check our needs to correct the report and they will  possibly considered giving me my job back.  Here is a copy of the court records stating I was found not guilty of this heinous crime And the case has been dismissed.  This case is also scheduled to be removed off my record per the judge order  And is currently undergoing the process.  Checkr  Have done this to many people and have underwent a lot of complaints against them  For many consumers because people have lost their jobs behind these people.  I just simply want them to correct the inaccurate report and send it to ****.  It was just a charge and anyone can be falsely accused of anything and they notify my job before I even got a chance to see a judge.        Here is the truth to the matter and I do not accept this business response until they correct this issue.  They wasted no time reporting premature information to my employer's office And getting me fired when I am a single mother of a household.  They need to correct the record And provide **** with a updated background check And remove the inaccuracies off of the report because I was never convicted of this crime. Everyone Until proven guilty and they went and reported this to my employer Without allowing the case to go through the judicial process.  I worked for them for 10 years and never had this issue.  Not only did this just affect me but this also  Affected the kids in my household because they were lacking There needs being met because there was no income.

      Incorrect Checkr Report Preventing Work Dear Checkr Support,Lyft and **** are unable to verify my driving history due to an error in Checkr's reporting. Since my license was renewed in August last year and the State of Hawaii does not issue Motor Vehicle Records electronically, your system incorrectly flags me as having less than a year of driving experiencedespite a valid license longer.I obtained my driving records from the district court, yet Checkr refuses to accept them, directing me to ****. ****, in turn, claims I must first upload them to Checkr before they can take action. This cycle is preventing any resolution.Additionally, my Doordash background check was suspended in September without explanation, leaving my account on indefinite hold. I was never given a reason why the check wasn't complete.Both my driving and background records are clean, yet I am currently unable to work on any of my three accounts, preventing me from earning income. I need Checkr to: Clarify exactly what is needed to verify and update my driving record on their end. Communicate with ****, Lyft, and Doordash to ensure their databases reflect accurate information.If this issue is not resolved within 30 days, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. Please treat this matter with urgency.

      I am rejecting your response as it provides no solution for correcting the inaccurate *** reporting that is preventing ***** DoorDash, and Lyft from verifying my driving history.

      Since Hawaii does not issue ***s electronically, your system wrongly suspends my *** checksfailing to provide rideshare companies with proof of my driving experience and clean record. This creates an adverse action scenario, as they have no choice but to place my accounts on hold, preventing me from earning income.

      Under the ***** Checkr, as a background check provider, is legally required to:
      1.Provide a copy of my *** check
      To date, I have received nothing. My *** reports are simply marked as "suspended" without explanation.
      2.Allow me to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information
      I have submitted three support tickets, offering to upload my court-obtained ***, yet Checkr refuses to accept it.
      3.Investigate and correct errors
      Checkr fails to provide a resolution and instead loops me back to the rideshare companies, who, in turn, direct me back to Checkr.

      Your system misleadingly reports "no *** available online," making it seem as though the check is pending, when in fact it is closed on your endblocking ***** Lyft, and DoorDash from taking corrective action. **** kept sending me links to the candidate portal, none of which was working.
      To comply with **** regulations, Checkr must immediately:

      -Acknowledge my dispute within 5 business days of my first support ticket.
      -Clarify whether you will re-investigate or not, and provide justification if you refuse.
      -Implement a reasonable solution to allow submission of my *** in one of the following forms:

      a) Provide a direct upload link for me to submit my ***.
      b) Instruct ***** DoorDash, and Lyft on manual *** submission to correct this system failure.
      c) Accept a hard-copy submission of my *** via mail.
      d) Allow notarized consent so you can obtain the *** directly from the Oahu District Court.

      Failure to comply with **** standards will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter legally, if the issue is not fixed within the mandatory 30 days. I expect a clear response outlining your corrective actions immediately.

      I have been applying for delivery jobs such as **** and ******** which both use this company to run their background checks. I followed all the required steps and they suspend my check due to something with my ssn. Im ********************************************* touch with anyone at checkr to figure out why. This is holding me back from working at a lot of companies(delivery) but has never affected me when applying retail and etc

      this company doesn't have the true ability to check backgrounds and should not be used. also I am from ************* and know personally how corrupt the workers are. they are selling clients information. they also accept money to delay or damage the backgrounds of people. they also delay or interfere with background checks of anyone doing rideshare with an American name so their people get on the road and you don't!

      This is a pathetic response. It has nothing to do with me complaining about your company. I know for a fact that you have corrupt employees who go out and advertise to friends and people in order to hobble accounts of people for money. you need to investigate everyone who has access to the database and controls these reports, because what they are doing is making the reports run again instead of passing them through to the person who requested them. You can look at my account now, and every year, when **** does a background check, it takes up to six months to approve it, even though I have no record of any criminal activity. My search has been done three times, and each time, the results disappear and the checker runs the reports again. This is because there are corrupt people in your company taking money to damage the reports of others.

      I had to pay $75 to my job to pull this information, Not only is it wrong but it cost me the higher pay of the job. They refused to let me drive, so now I need a second job to get by.

      They are supposed to be a background check third party website. I have received a pardon and they didn't do their due diligence so their background check still shows me as a three-time convicted felon which almost cost me my job. I had my lawyer send them my pardon paperwork and they have yet to fix it. They should not be allowed to do business in background checks if they're not going to actually do their research. I need my background check updated to say that I'm no longer a felon and that I've received a pardon but they're giving me a runaround.

      I have been trying to have my background pulled thru Checkr thru **** for over a year now. I drove with **** for years with no problems. When it came time to rerun my background it never goes thru it just pends then cancels. My background checks from every other company(Spark/Lyft/etc. thru Checkr has come back with the allowed timeframe clean. Ive been trying to contact Checkr thru email and phone calls and even **** has contacted them but my background NEVER comes back and this problem is never fixed and all we get is a run around. I am losing money thru **** which was a big part of my income. I would like someone from Checkr to address and find out the issue please. Dates tried to pull but never come back:January 10, 2025 11:15 am August 27, 2024@ 7:29am May 28, 2024 @ 11:19am February 7, 2024@ 4:27pm I also did another one last week.

      Companies like ********, ****, and Lyft all use Checkr. Unfortunately Checkr consistently provides false, incorrect, or incomplete information. This company has caused me issues in several different occasions. For example: in 2022 Checkr advised ********, my license was inactive (I which is was not). I disputed the information but they came back with the same result. I was determined to make them fix their mistake, so I continued to make the phone calls and send emails. After 3 months, Checkr finally corrected their error. During that time I lost a very large portion of my income, because this company provided incorrect information. Now in 2025 they reported incomplete information to ****, advising them my drivers license is inactive which it is not. I went as far as to contact the state *** and purchased a certified copy of my abstract of my driving record. Yet still Checkr reported my license is suspended. I dont have 3 months to go back and forth with them again. This company does what they want and has no repercussions. Their actions cause people to miss opportunities and income. Big companies should stop using Checkr, it is a terrible service. I dont want anything action from the BBB. I want this information to be documented, because I know Im not the only person this company has negatively impacted.       The company gives me ultimatum to submit the actual picture of my social security card or they wont process my background check and wont let me to be hired. This company already run background check on me without an issues for two other platforms: **** and Dasher however for Instawork they said that they cant run it and they need me to send picture of social security card. They have my Id, passport information, SSN, all required verification but the still requesting the actual picture of SSN. This makes me feel so unsafe and this is not legal to demand the picture, the costumer is not obligated to send the picture by *******. They are breaking the law and breaching my rights.
