      I am filing this complaint against Checkr because they keep informing me that they are unable to complete my background check with the *** I provided. However, my *** has no issues, all my information is correct, and I always receive the same message.I have already requested a personal background check through Checkrs platform, for which I was charged a considerable amount. I provided the same information and received a complete report without any errors.I need to understand how it is possible for my personal background check to be completed successfully, while the background check requested through the Uber Driver platform, where I registered using the same information, is not accepted.I have registered with multiple delivery apps, but I was not accepted by any of them due to the background check conducted by Checkr. They all returned an error stating that there was a discrepancy in my information, even though I provided everything correctly. Moreover, I have original documents as proof of my identity.

      January 2025, report was completed by checkr. I have a pending charge and explained in detail the case and asked them to change the report to reflect the facts they have now been given with regards to the classification they listed me as. Dispute was finalized and no change made or even confirmation of things I listed in the dispute for the hiring company. I filed second dispute and have received no support other than copy and paste responses from their support chat on this process taking ***** days and wait to dispute anything until case out of review this time. Now without work for almost a month due to issues of consumer fraud and they dont even try to assure a correct resolution. No way to escalate concerns, get contact information for people to discuss matter with above the entry level people. I have endless chat communications saved where there clearly shows a business that does what it wants, when it wants, with no accountability, and no remorse for wrongdoings. This business should be investigated for providing their clients with biased reports, with my assumption are only to boost their findings number.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have tried to reach out numerous times including last night. It is impossible to get through to a chat agent as your AI sends you in circles. Even when I have been connected which is rare, they provide misinformation and refuse to escalate the call when I clearly can tell they dont know what they are trying to tell me. I contact them about a criminal charge and they advised me to wait for the *** to make changes to my charge. My motor vehicle report was clear and this charge didnt involve *** in any way, shape, or form. They resort to canned messages which dont address the issue. And I have left messages and sent emails with those not returning responses other than the one I received after I filed this complaint and that only covers the classifications and how that is populated, nothing to do about disputes that are compiled with documentation as proof and those disputes being sent back to the company with no changes made. End of the day, I have never been offered someone in that company who is willing to see this thing get resolved even after multiple contacts and multiple disputes. Checkr needs to provide better support when they are potentially affecting peoples ability to provide for their families and this has clearly been shown NOT to be any of their concern to myself and many others, according to reviews I have read online.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      This isnt even a human responding. This is a canned response and identical to the last response they provided. It doesnt even address any of the issues from the initial complaint and the follow up message I provided. Checkr has been provided evidence and documentation to contradict the depiction they are giving companies, of myself, my character, and my creditworthiness. Because this system I believe is ran by AI it flags the pending charge as if it involves a guilty conviction. Checkrs background check reporting methods assume all pending charges as if they are convictions and proven by the action that pending charge creates with the end status of that report. Although checkr does not do the hiring with providing reports that dont report clear prior to a concluded case, they are influencing a company by raising concern. When evidence is presented that the pending charge falsely represents my character  because that charge is incomplete, using it as a tool to determine my clear status would also be incomplete and thus not accurate. Checkr needs to exclude any findings that are incomplete from being used as a flagging point in my report. A better way to describe this is give an example: say there are three people having background checks performed and those three people all have the same charge show up on the findings. Consumer #1 has a guilty verdict and this is flagged on their report. This flag is shown to the business with a consider status as this person was found guilty or admitted guilt.  Consumer #2 has a dismissed verdict and this results in no flagging of their report. They receive a clear status on the report sent to the business, as this person is considered innocent. Consumer #3s verdict has not been finalized yet so this appears as a pending charge. Checkrs system flags this on their report. This flag just like consumer #1 now has a report that says consider. Why is this, as there is no verdict of guilty, the law is presuming this person innocent still, and this finding is still incomplete. It should not contain a flagging action unless checkr is taking the biased position to consider them the same as a guilty conviction.  The unjust and unlawful part of this is they then provide that biased position to a business which is misleading with the information they currently have provided in their findings. In conclusion I state it again.  Checkr is reporting incomplete, inaccurate, and misleading information to businesses based on either a system flaw or their choice to stand behind that position and it needs to be fixed.

      I started working for doordash in 2018 I work for doordash I only up until ****************************************************** 2023 I was arrested on false charges held without being charged for 6 months violating my 4th and 6th amendment once I was released on lack of evidence April ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** the charges showed up on my background history and I lost my contract due to the charges I was never charged with they only showed up on my background history those charges no longer show up on my background history because I was acquitted of all charges I tried to contact doordash concerning my background check I was then told to contact checkr I tried to have checkr look into my background again and I was informed that I need to contact doordash, doordash tell me to check with checkr and vice versa what I truly want is for checker to run my background check again because I do not have charges on my background as of 2025 of any kind I would like to go back to doordashing if it's possible but I need checkr to reassess looking at my background history I've lost thousands and thousands of dollars this past year behind false allegations alleged charges in false documentation I simply would like checker to go back and look at my background

      Friday Dec. *******-. I had a problem with a glitch in my report(the wrong ss# was typed in and it froze the report). I reach out to "unfreeze or update the ss#. THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER. So, I was told via "chat"/email that they couldnt fix it, so Id need to run a new report. They also claimed there was no way to cancel and assured me that the first report would be credited. It never was! Despite having copies of the original "chats" and emails, that confirmed that I was told that a credit would be applied, they continue to refuse to issue it. I paid for one report, but they keep sending invoices for the second onethe very one they told me to request!

      I am rejecting your response because it is completely unacceptable. Your company is entirely in the wrong, and I should never have been billed for this in the first place. The invoice in question is invalid, and I will not be paying it.
      It is evident that your replies are either automated or generic, as they do not address the specific details of my complaint. I have repeatedly asked for a phone number or for someone to call me, yet I continue to receive the same copy-paste responses. This further confirms that my emails have not been properly reviewed by an actual person.
      To clarify once again: I am not requesting a refund. I paid for a report because, after much delay, one was finally delivered. However, the second invoice should never have been sent. Your own representative instructed me to run the second report, stating it was the only way to proceed. I trusted the information given to me and now have written proofcopies of emailsthat show I was misled. Additionally, I was told I would receive a credit. Instead, I am being repeatedly billed for something I did not order, need, or agree to.
      The way this situation is being handled raises serious concerns about your companys integrity and customer service practices. The mere fact that you continue to use the word refund when that is not what I am requesting shows that my complaint is not being properly addressed. If your company is legitimate, I expect an actual person to review this matter and cancel the invoice immediately, not another automated response.

      On Feb. 10th of 2025, after reviewing different online background check services, I came across Checkr which allow me to perform a personal background check on myself. The website stated that Background checks can reveal a wide range of information about a candidates past, including their work history, education, criminal history, and more, However, when I received my background check it only shows that the report was complete and contains zero details about historical education or criminal history. I selected the most expensive package which was $99 and only received completed as the report. I am unsure what the purpose of the report is as the only soul information I received was complete. This is a scam.

      The checkr provided an employer of mine Clipboard with incorrect information even after I sent an update of my information with a letter from Medi *** exclusion list stating that I am no longer on the exclusion list as of the letter sent Jan 27, 2025. They stated that they have already printed the names for February but it wont be taken down until March 2025. However in lieu of the new information checkr***** did not contact them to find out if the information has indeed changed. They continued to state and post that I am on the list which is slander because I am not.

      I do not agree with Checkr. I went to the Medi *** ineligible and exclusion list and typed my name in and it states that I am not on the list. They are not doing a thorough investigation. They have not taken the time to contact Medi *** to find out if it is true or not. They rather print inaccurate information and provide it to clipboard health so that I will not be able to work for them as a registered nurse.
