      Beware of scam. You get flooded with false leads in order to get charged. Commonly seen as ones that dont respond then they thumbtack refuses to refund. 100s of dollars lost

      I used to love this app because when I had a scam call or phone numbers did not work they would easily give me a refund and it made me feel really safe with this app. Recently they changed it so if you get a scam, a phone number doesnt work or anything of that nature you still have to pay for the lead and it does not qualify for a refund. I expressed my concerns to customer service and hopefully it goes somewhere but honestly, it didnt go anywhere while I was on the phone. Im extremely disappointed with thumbtack because I spent over $10,000 just last year in order to get clients and now Im not sure if I want to use them anymore.

      **************** is incompetent. Talked to one agent, she could not even figure out how to verify me. Called back, the agent had no idea how the app worked. Literally asked me to reinstall it, for newest version. (Been a member less than 2 weeks)While it can be challenging to get leads.Thumbtacks system is c*** I would prefer to use Craigs list than Thumbtack. They have zero for customer support! I got suspended for yelling at them. I cant help it when I deal with stupid people, it makes me angry.Highly advise to never use them ****** True True Vision One handyman service **********************

      as a pro on there site. I'm being charged for lead, well outside my set distance and not refunded even after distance is verified. I would not recommend them to any business

      Thumbtack is a scam, thumbtack is fake, thumbtack is not for business owners, thumbtack is out to get peoples money and not refund them when they were not in the wrong, thumbtack is not for the people, thumbtack will do any means necessary to deduct money from your card and keep it without giving you a refund, when you talk to a representative on the phone and explain to them the situation youre having its a moment of silence until you ask are you there? thumbtack should not be a business in ***************** or anywhere. thumbtack should be shut down and sued for the things they are doing to business owners. thumbtack should not allow anyone to sign up as if they are a customer and allow business owners to reach out to them thinking its a job and its not thats an error on thumbtack side me and my wife had way more than 10 negative experiences with thumbtack, and we will not be wasting any more money on thumbtack to make them rich thumbtack. You are a scam. You are narcissistic people!!!!!!! if I was able to leave no star review I would do it. You guys dont even deserve one star you dont even deserve a half a star.. you guys claim to care about business owners but you dont you guys deny refunds on a daily basis when the situation was not the business owner fault or the pro. I will be deleting thumbtack. I will be removing my card off of file. I will also be spreading the word for business owners to not use thumbtack ever even for new business owners do not ever do it.

      Thumbtack is a horrible greedy platform. They deleted your account and do not care at all for how it hurts your business and over charge you for leads that they also give to multiple others! It's hard to get a response from customers and you have to make your prices extremely low just to get a CHANCE at getting the job!!!! The truly do not care for their pros the way they claim. Do not trust them!!!!!! You can have a million 5 star reviews making them look good but God forbid someone's son in your company made a thumbtack and it SOMEHOW gets crossed with yours because then youre deleted with no remorse or arguing the situation. You're just out. If you are in DESPERATE NEED for leads this platform if okay for SHORT TERM but constantly be looking for a WAY OUT!!!!

      We have used thumbtack during the pandemic up until 2023 and the bs was apparent then but I cant continue to turn a blind eye to being charged for fictitious leads being denied refunds for leads that werent leads to begin with not vetting the so called clients Thumbtack flat out is done dont use them at all

      set a clear weekly budget of $95 and a monthly max of $415 for leads on Thumbtack. Within just a few days, they charged me for multiple direct leads far exceeding the budget I had in place. I contacted customer service immediately, but they refused to help because the charges were over 45 days old.The issue isnt that I didnt want leads its that Thumbtacks system ignored the budget I had set, and I was not warned that I was going over it. I provided screenshots and proof, but they still denied me a refund or even a partial credit. Their billing system is flawed, and the support team shows no ***************** a small business owner trying to grow my services, not someone who can absorb hundreds of dollars in surprise charges. This experience was frustrating and unethical. I do not recommend Thumbtack to anyone looking for transparent billing or fair treatment.
