I posted it to the fraud investigation team as well. They came back with results after under 24 hours. And denied all claims. I have videos of me in my house sleeping at the same time that the transactions happened. I do not live in ************ or anywhere near there so this login and activity on the account shortly after is not a coincidence I have multiple pictures of logins from out of my state and then shortly after them using my card that is saved to website.

I received an email from SoFi on March 24, 2025 about a federal loan synced through ***** on my account. This is not relevant to me, as I do not have a SoFi account of any kind. When I replied to the email requesting for my data to be deleted, it bounced back as a no-reply address. SoFi denied my previous application for an account, so theres no reason they should be holding and using my data as if I have one open. Delete my personal data immediately and send confirmation once complete.

To Whom It May Concern,I am absolutely outraged that my bank allowed $7,338 to be taken from my account via Apple Pay after I lost my phone, without any proper identification or security measures being put in place. I have not been contacted to verify my identity or confirm these transactions, and instead, Im now receiving emails demanding my ID because I initiated chargebacks. This is completely unacceptable.I have already filed police reports, and Ive escalated this issue to the gaming commission regarding the company involved. The handling of my account by your bank has been careless, and your failure to secure my funds has resulted in a significant loss.I demand an immediate refund of the $7,338 that was wrongfully taken from my account. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to seek legal action. I have already taken steps to involve a lawyer and will pursue all legal avenues available to recover my lost funds.I expect a prompt resolution of this matter. If I do not receive a refund or a satisfactory response, I will escalate this further.

My wife and I were looking for a high interest yielding savings account and ********************** was highly recommended to us. We opened an account with them in early October and soon after our account was "restricted" after trying to link our two separate accounts to this account as well as depositing checks in the amount of $5,600 and $8,500 respectively. SoFi rejected the $5,600 which we were able to cash it out, but the $8,500 they kept in our restricted account for, currently over 6 months. Our restricted account was scheduled to be shut down, and eventually was on or around February 15. Despite multiple calls, at least 8 different calls to the SoFi number given for restricted accounts and we're given the same run around: no one knows anything, the "departments" that have information have no way of contacting them (no email, no phone number). Recently we called on February 15, 2025 and the guy who answered told my wife and I that they would be sending a check to my address, after verification, in seven to ten business days so we waited, and now being March 25, 2025 we still are without this check. I called again today, March 25, and the person who answered said we have no right to the money and they don't know where the money is going to go and the department who might have that information has no email or phone number. Our account is closed and the money in there seemingly gone but SoFi will not tell us where the money is and further goes on to say that the money does not belong to us. We've been out $8,500 for six months and this is just flat out ridiculous. All the calls have been recorded according to SoFi and we want our money back or we will be forced to bring a lawsuit.

On 9/25/2022 I received a email stating an account was opened in my name. On that same day I contacted Sofi Fraud and Security to report this. I was assured that they would delete the account.

On 10/26/2002 I received a email stating, we are unable to open accounts for you at this time.

On 2/24/2023 I called Sofi fraud protection again, and repeated my 1st contact wishes.

Yesterday on 3/24/2025 (two years from my last contact), I received a emailing from Sofi concerning a email sent in error (I have no business with this company). I called Fraud division at Sofi for the third time. They assured me yet again that my account was deleted and I will "never" get another email from them.

Today 3/25/2025 I got another email: This one is even more concerning: "You're receiving this message because you have a federal student loan..."

I have copies of most of the emails should you need them. If this is a fraudulent company, there needs to be records for others to protect themselves. If this is a legit business, how do they verify new accounts??

I am rejecting this response because: No ONE seems to understand plain English anymore, not only my complaint this time to SOFI but all my prior correspondence to them.

How many times do I have to explain, I have NEVER done any business with SOFI.  This account, registration, or however you got my email and contact information is FRAUDULENT!

Furthermore, although more should not be necessary, I'm 69 years old.  I've never had a student loan, and certainly not as a senior citizen.  I felt after MANY calls to SOFI to try to resolve this with your fraud department, I had no choice but to reachout to BBB for help.

      Sincerely,
