I am writing to formally submit a consumer complaint against SoFi Bank regarding multiple banking issues, including an unauthorized charge of $75 by ******/*****, which SoFi has refused to reimburse despite my efforts to dispute it. I did not authorize this charge, nor did I use a PIN, sign any agreement, or knowingly subscribe to any ***** services. Despite my attempts to contact ***** directly, I have not been able to resolve the matter.This is not the first issue I have encountered with SoFi Bank. Recently, I attempted a $7,500 wire transfer to purchase a vehicle, which did not go through the first time. As a result, I had to resend the payment, which led to the auto dealer questioning the legitimacy of my transaction and making unfounded fraud suspicions against me. This experience was both frustrating and embarrassing, and SoFi Bank was not particularly helpful in resolving the situation.Additionally, I have an unresolved dispute with ****** over a transaction that was not properly filed by SoFi Bank, causing ongoing difficulties in recovering my funds. The recurring issues with SoFis dispute handling have made me question the reliability of their banking services.I am seeking assistance from your office to investigate SoFi Banks handling of consumer disputes and their refusal to properly address unauthorized charges. I believe that financial institutions should take consumer protections seriously and ensure that disputed transactions are thoroughly reviewed and resolved fairly.I appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing this matter. Please let me know if you require any further documentation or details regarding these disputes. I look forward to your response. My student loan was refinanced with SoFI on September of 2024.I receive a monthly contribution of $300 from my employer through Tuition IO that it sent directly to the bank using ACH system. My loan was being serviced by ****** initially. The first payment from my employer was made on November 8th of 2024 to ****** and this payment was applied correctly into my account. The second payment on December 6th, was sent to ****** as well, but coincidentally my account was transferred over to Sofi for servicing this same day and this payment hasnt been posted into my account yet until this date. I had placed a complaint to Mohela and after multiple attempts, even through BBB, they finally replied they had received this payment and they are in the process of transferring this payment to Sofi. (Still waiting on this issue to be resolved)Additionally, on January 16th of 2025, my employer sent two more payments of $300 each, for a total of $600, using ACH system, but this time they were sent directly to Sofi. These payments havent been applied either into my account and I was told my account was reported to the ************* for late payments. I have submitted proof of this payments, I have called multiple times, I have emailed them a lot of times as well and they have not resolved this issue either. Everyone gives me different information and even have lied to me in many occasions, communication is terrible and supervisors from customer service have not helped at all. My account is past fue for 60 days now and missing payments for a total of $900.I need help solving these 2 investigations as soon as possible. I have updated proof of Mohela letter stating they received payment on December and also proof of payments made by my employer to SofiBusiness Response

I took money out my 401k institution. Mind u they send it to the wrong account number. ********************** banking didnt check the direct despoil info to make sure it was accurate. So my ****** went into someone else account. I called numerous times to try and resolve the issue. For the longest the kept telling me that it will go back into my account or send back to where it came from. 3-5 business days to hold tight. I talked to managers a few time on the phone reassuring me there is no way they money would land into another account. That it will bounce back. Well the deposit was on 1/7/2025. Its now. 2/18/25. I was informed on 2/14/25 that the initial company who sent the payment did a trace. Only found $18 now I cant get a SoFi manager on the phone they hang up on me everytime. Ive called majority of everyday to try and find a resolution. I got all the info they asked me for such as transaction Id, payment id, trace, the account and routing that it was sent to thats not in my name. They told me they couldnt help locate & thats I needed my employer to put a recall for the money in. Well they did that. Ive waited my turn. Now I cant seem to get SoFi on the phone.Business Response

Last week, in my SoFi checking account, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $50 from ******** and reported it immediately. There had been previous unauthorized charges from ******** that had been investigated, so I requested that SoFi BLOCK future charges from ********, BUT allow any refunds or deposits to be made, as I have someone repairing my ******** account. So last week when this other charge came through it was reported. Today, Feb. 17, SoFi emailed me that they have completed their investigation of the $50, but they are STILL restricting my checking account. This restriction limits me from withdrawals, deposits, or ANY use of my account, INDEFINITELY, and I have a serious lung disease and need medicines.and already have several bills with missed payments! But SoFi REFUSES to release the restriction because they say they need further investigations!! This is absurd!! I am ill and need my medications!! SoFis ONLY email to me was a recent email saying they had CLOSED my account. They falsely accused me of violating regulations..I did NOT. So, without warning or explanation, SoFi simply decided that Im a CRIMINAL, and CLOSED my account, and now they refuse any communication attempts!!
The final check they sent me I am unable to cash or deposit because someone at SoFi wrote Account Closed on the check, and they wrote it so it was DEPOSIT ONLY, according to several banks!!!
I need my final check RESENT, IMMEDIATELY, and a contact number available to me!!!Sincerely,

On 01/29/25 I ordered a ring off of Amazon market place totaling $420.72 with taxes and next day delivery, upon delivery my girlfriend gave the Amazon driver the delivery code, carried the package inside, had her niece start a video to catch her reaction, to open the package, open the ring box and the ring not be there at all. After contacting ****** they denied my refund stating a third party must of stolen the ring file a police report. I file the police report, contact my bank which is SoFi, and open a dispute. I send video of the ring not being there, a screen shot of the police report and my claim be denied by the bank saying there was no error. After contacting the dispute team and now going on three weeks later, I still do not have my money. The bank swears they protect their customers from situations like this yet are doing the opposite in my situation.Business Response
