      They close your account when they owe you hundreds of dollars. They owe me $200. I am an event organizer. I'm going to small claims court. I contacted every news station in ************* about this scamming company.

      An event (a play) was cancelled because a cast member had covid. We were not able to attend subsequent shows. Eventbrite refused to refund our money. We tried to contact Eventbrite directly through their website, but contacting them proved to be impossible. We will never attend another event that uses Eventbrite and recommend that others do the same.

      This is the worst site to get event tickets. It makes u enter your information multiple times and wont even email you the tickets you purchased without downloading thier app and signing up on their website. If I already paid for it why can they just email me the tickets along with the confirmation this is a shady website and their add on fees are ridiculous as well

      Eventbrite is a scam and destiny wreckage, Don't use this platform. They stole from me and bounce me out of my account. They are white collar criminals. Please I need a swift response from your team so I understand the reason for such blackout carried on my account. Thanks *****. Hi ***********,I hope all is well with you. My name is ******** from Eventbrite. I understand that you've raised an important concern in your email and I want you to know that I'm here to help.I wanted to let you know that I'm on it.       Eventbrite Kids is a scam company. In their commercials and in the top of the fine print on their website, they make it sound like it costs $1 shipping & handling to purchase a tiny (~8 pages) booklet for kids explaining the presidential election. They charged me three times for a total of $35.08. The booklet was terrible; not written in a way for a child to understand. When I called Eventbrite to have the charges reversed, the males *************** made it sound like they receive refund calls frequently. Additionally, it feels scary how much clicking one has to do on their websites to find a phone number to call.

      Rather than sending you your tickets to your email, when you purchase a ticket to an event it now forces you to make an account so that they can sell your information. There's no information about this before you purchase your tickets, so you can't make an informed choice about if you'll use Eventbrite or not. Their "opt out* policy for selling information is hugely complicated, and in order to get your tickets you have to agree to a privacy policy that's horrible about caring for your privacy. You're forced to either abandon your tickets or give them access to information they can sell.

      My Eventbrite organizer account was hacked, and the hacker was laundering money with large "donations" of over $80k. Eventbrite restored the organizer control to me, but since then I have not received any payouts for my events posted through Eventbrite. It has been 7 weeks and and over $6900 our business has generated is being held by Eventbrite. I've been in contact with customer support by email, phone calls and text chat. Each time I'm told that the "Internal team" is investigating it, then another week passes without any communication from Eventbrite and no deposit. At this point, I feel that Eventbrite is stealing my money. I run a small family farm, we need this money to continue running the farm.

      We spent money to advertise an event. 90% of the attendees ended up being bots. We had 25 registrations. Also, making a complaint is not easy to find on their website.What a waste of time. How are they getting away with this?

      Very poor customer service. The "organizers" are completely without reproach from Eventbrite. We purchased ****** (**) Brewfest VIP tickets and parking for 5/18/24. ***** just for VIP parking. Get there Saturday and informed no VIP parking because Venice city turned them down. The "organizer" took no action to refund knowing this. Furthermore, multiple emails to "organizer" have yielded no response. Request for refund request to Eventbrite was denied, as well. Please avoid this sham! They're deceiving and will not hold organizer's accountable for what they sale under their umbrella. Thoroughly deceptive business.

      Tried to get tickets for Miami Fleet Week three days in a row starting the second they were available (3 of us tried) and none of us were able to get tickets to any ship. We've gone to this event 4 years in a row when it was in *************** and never had any problems getting tickets. This appears to be a scam to me and someone is siphoning off the tickets before they are available to the public.
