    TruePeopleSearch has access to billions of public records, including the most recent and 40-years worth of historical data.     This website has published my personal information including current and former residences and my unlisted phone number. I have not authorized this information to be published, and it shows up in the first page of a ****** search of my name. This could pose a risk to my safety as well as identity security. The removal link on the site does not appear to work. I do not know how it is legal to post the extent of information they have access to for anyone with internet access. I want all of my information removed from this site.

    I did not authorize this company to share my personal information online and would never post my personal information online due to safety issues. This website, without permission, posted info including phone numbers, contact info, photo of my house and sensitive info like birthdate, as well as family and friends information WITH LINKS to all their profiles. I want my information/profile removed from the website, as well as removed from any linked profiles containing my information, or any other informational websites curated by TruePeopleSearch.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Hi ********,

    I received a letter from your organization regarding my complaint (#********) against truepeoplesearch.com.  Truepeoplesearch.com has listed all sorts of personal information about me and my family/friends without my permission. Information that has not been entered onto any websites, and thus is being listed without my permission. This is in violation of internet privacy law, and can even be seen as violating FTC regulations in relation to protection against identity theft. All information posted by the truepeoplesearch.com site opens myself and others to having their personal information misused. 

     

    I see that others who have filed a complaint to the BBB of *************/*********** have been assured by truepeoplesearch.com that their information would be removed within 3-5 days. The response from the company (in the BBB letter sent to me) is to have me go to their removal site and enter more personal information, then I am not taken any further in the process for removing information. Therefore, the solution offered by the company is NOT SATISFACTORY. I want all my personal information/profile and any linked information to other profiles on their site taken down. As they have done for others that have requested removal from their site.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Truepeoplesearch.com has listed all sorts of personal information about me and my family/friends without my permission. Information THAT HAS NOT BEEN ENTERED into any other websites by me, and thus is being listed without my permission.

    I see that others who have filed a complaint to the BBB of *************/*********** have been assured by truepeoplesearch.com that their information would be removed within 3-5 days. The response from the company (in the BBB letter sent to me) is to have me go to their removal site and enter more personal information, then I am not taken any further in the process for removing information.     I have requested that my information be removed in April, it is only partially correct and damaging to my reputation. It is dangerous to me as a young woman and poses serious privacy concerns. I have had no response from my email to their support email address.
