Sephora stole money from me! I returned an item that I bought with the 100$ rouge reward and I only received 9$ back from a 30+$ plus item! I am disappointed and so I filed a complaint with the BBB! Do better Sephora!Sephora

I purchased a Gift card at a local grocery store as a bday gift. The person i gifted the card to tried using the gift card at a local Sephora store and was told the card had a Zero balance. because of that, she discarded the card and no longer has it. I contacted the grocery store and was told i needed to contact Sephora's customer service so they could replace the card and/or provide me some type of credit as per the Grocery store rep. the money i loaded into the card has been paid in full to Sephora. I contacted Sephora customer service and was advised they do not replace gift cards. I don't understand how come in Sephora's system it showed the card had a zero balance as the grocery store showed i loaded the money and ******* at the grocery confirmed the amount as well as I have the proof of the receipt. ******* at Sephora's customer service i spoke to did not really help or offer alternative resolutions. I am pretty upset as it was not a $20 load we did on the card.Sephora

Doesn't even deserve the one star. Three times now I'vd had orders cancelled without any notification, leaving me waiting for weeks before I realize the order is never coming. Most recently, once I noticed the order wasn't coming (no email reminders ever, btw), I was unable to log into my account to check on the order. I called, somehow the order was flagged and cancelled along with my account being deactivated. I have no idea how this could happen; I use the same devices to log in and make orders. If it's happened for my own security, WHY WOULDN'T I BE NOTIFIED!!!! Wouldn't that be the first priority if it was flagged for something suspicious. After spending an hour on the phone verifying my identity, I was told within 72 hours I'll be able to access my account. I continue to get emails prompting to me to call again as my account continues to be deactivate. Why must I continue to do the same thing over again. The fact that this keeps happening gives me absolutely no faith in this company and I will never use it again. BE WARNED. They are shady and disorganized.Sephora

My daughter loves Sephora but I'm done letting her spend her hard earned money there. She had bought a full sized bottle of Amika dry shampoo. I believe it was $28. About 6 weeks after the purchase, it basically exploded. Yellow liquid poured out top. She had bought it at the ****** inside Sephora. So, I took it back. They told me they couldn't find the purchase. First, I pulled up on my kohls app and showed them. Second, they have me enter my email every time to track my orders. So, they have to know somehow. I have NEVER taken anything back to Sephora before. We're not part of the " I used for 29 days but decided I didn't like it" crowd.Anyways, they refused to replace a defective $28 bottle of dry shampoo. Basically told " well, if you brought it back at 29 days, then maybe I'd replace it". ***** manager said that Sephora doesn't even have an option for a defective product. What?!? FYI, you can clearly see a crusty ring of yellow all around the cap leftover from the liquid that poured out. It was several tablespoons full.Next step, I contacted Sephora online thinking maybe they're responsible/respectful. NOPE! They also think that someone should use a whole bottle of dry shampoo in 30 days or less. Girl, it didn't explode in 30 days or less. It exploded somewhere around 40 days. And my daughter only used it maybe 2x a week, tops. She washes her hair like a normal person too. I've tried finding how to contact ***** about it but have not got to far. I'm hoping they'll stand behind their overpriced product. Moral of story, don't buy anything at Sephora that could become defective, no aerosols or pumps. Don't buy at Sephora in ****** unless you save every single physical receipt. Your ****** purchase history means nothing, even though ****** employees work there. Your Sephora acct means nothing. Make sure you tell your products that if they are going to break, do it before 30 day ***** I'll take my business elsewhere, and not to Sephora.Sephora

Ordered a Dyson air wrap. Order wasn't even shipped until after the date of the latest arrival estimate. Was lied to every time I called about the item. It was a birthday gift so the arrival date was important, that's why I had paid extra for the shipping.Sephora

I ordered cologne and received it on 12/9. I returned it because it was a duplicate gift. Sephora received it on 12/17 and sent me an email saying look for your refund in 10 days. I am still waiting for my refund of over $100 and it has been nearly a month. I have called several times only to be told it is still being processed. It took 2 seconds to take the payment and its been over a month and I am still waiting. I dont recommend ordering from Sephora online.Sephora

I placed an order on November 3rd. The order arrived today January 10th two months later. One of the items I ordered was sunscreen for a vacation I was taking in December. When the order was delivered I reached out to Sephora for a return label and was told they could only offer me store credit. I'd understand if that was the case if I had been holding on to it but I called them within the hour of receiving it. How can I return an item that I don't have?Sephora

Their online merchandise will say they have stock. You place your order and 10 minutes later they cancel as out of stock. You go back in and the system still shows inventory. It takes 10 business days to release your funds but blame it on your financial institution. Do not order from Sephora online unless you have money to spa being frustrated.Sephora

I have been a member of Sephora's Rouge program for many years. I have been buying from them quite regurly during this stime. But today I am cutting ties with them. Their customer service has taken a turn for the worse. They consistently use 1 star shippers like Fed Ex (and using boxes labeled with Sephora on it is a giant target for thieves), despite repeated complaints about their service. I had a package with a large order marked as delivered by Fed Ex in November, which was never actually delivered (or delivered to the wrong address). I contacted them about this and they sent me replacements. I was not told at the time that, should I have future delivery issues, there is a cap on how much they will assist you in terms of refunds or replacements for shipping issues. Now I have had a second shipment that was not delivered correctly, this time by a different carrier ******* After speaking to the carrier, the advice was to contact the shipper. I have done so and been told that, because I have reached a limit on the amount of assistance they can provide, that they will not refund or replace my lost products. I was told to file a claim with the carrier. Carriers do not process claims from recipients, only from shippers. So, despite the volume of orders I have placed with them this year, and in years previous, despite my long Rouge member status, they refuse to assist me. Sorry for your loss. It should be noted that you cannot order things from their website and have them sent to the store for pickup. If you what you want from them is not in stock at a local store, they will only ship it to you. But if you have poor carriers in your area you are rolling the dice with your money ordering from them. This is totally unacceptable. I am very disappointed and do not recommend this store and will no longer be shopping there.Sephora

They refuse to honor their posted price on products. It is their advertising mistake, yet they take no accountability. In particular, the wrong advertised price has been on their website for weeks. *** tried twice for them to honor their advertised price, receiving a no each time.
