      I purchased three 3.3 Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb Moisrurizers on Black Friday Weekend. They were on sale. That was awesome! BUT,I was supposed to get the other one The True Cream-Moisrurizer Bomb!!!I got them as gifts for my daughters.THE NAMES are so similar that I got the wrong ones. A couple of days later I went to Sephora in ********, ****. They were only able to exchange one because they did not have another two in stock. They told me to come back during the week as they were getting new stock "Tuesday." When I when back, they had them!!! But, the manager said they could only exchange if I paid the difference NOT even exchange. I wasted my time, meter coin, gas, and my good emotional state! I tried to get this resolved on Sephora's live chat, and the person said they could not solve that issue, that my choice was to return the items, get the money back and buy the items I wanted at REGULAR price. What kind of customer service is this? Terrible!I have never had this problem with ULTA!

      They are advertising online that you can apply for their credit card and get 25% off your order the same day with instant approval, so I did and instantly received a message stating " it will come by mail in 10 days". Upset, I called their bank and they "instantly" approved me for over $4000, but would not give me a card number so that I could place my order and get the 25% off the same day stating, I had to wait 10 days for it to come in the mail. There clearly was no reason for my instant approval not to have been issued on the spot, other than Sephora had no intention of allowing me to use their 25% off coupon and only wanted my personal information. That was totally bait, switch, fraud and illegal. This should be stopped!! Now I have a credit card that I do not want! FYI: When I did not get my instant approval, I called to withdrawl my application, but was told, that could not be done and that I had to wait until my card arrived, then call to cancel. What good is that?? My credit has already been dinged.....but Sephora made out with my private information!! Can anything be done about this????? ******

      This is by far the worst Sephora you can shop at. Staff does not acknowledge/help you.
      No offer of points, it’s my birthday month no mention of birthday gift. Terrible customer service. Will be driving further to a different location from now on!!!

      I have been trying to place online orders since May of 2020. Regardless of what payment methods I use, gift cards, credit cards, PayPal. The order goes through initially, providing me with a successful authorization number, but minutes later, Sephora cancels my order. It has nothing to do with my bank or payment methods as I have spoken to my bank about this and Sephora is not flagged as a merchant with past fraudulent charges. It's just Sephora. Horrible experience each time trying to use my online account.

      I placed an order online, in my account from **********************, due to our local store not having some items. Got the confirmation and 5 minutes later I received an email stating my order was canceled. I called the 877 number and spoke with a guy and he verified my information and replaced the order and put a note stating so. I received a confirmation and 5 minutes later my order (second one) was cancelled. I called a second time and spoke with someone else. Verified my info, replaced my order and again my order was cancelled (third time). Called again and spoke with a lady, as I was trying to get my 20% taken off from the second guy didnt do it and while on the phone I received a message my order was cancelled yet again. Now im being told I will have to wait 5-7 business days to get my credits and wait on a confirmation that my info was verified only to go back online to REPURCHASE everything again. I cant understand why it cant be pending instead of totally canceling peoples orders and then having to wait to get verification that you can reorder. So my card was charged 3 times and now I have to wait.

      They have horrible customer service! And steal your earned credit point if you return or exchange. The points should be returned to customer like every other reputable company. So mad makes me want to never buy from them again. What is the point of getting rewards. The supervisor was just on a power trip. Would not recommend to anyone. Its bad enough the same product has increased 3 times in the last 8 months. Ridiculous. Not a company that will ever be my go to again. Very disappointed. Pathetic

      Do not buy gifts from Sephora to anyone! Bought a perfume for my wife and asked for a message to be written. My wife got a regular brownish box without any messages!!! If you do not honour your own provided services Sephora, you should not offer it, period. I suggest removing the write a message thing from orders and just let people know that you are not able to wrap a gift with a message anymore!!!

      Unpleasant experience August 2023 with Sephora in **************.. While I was returning a product, I was denied and given a purchase ticket informing me that future returns will not be accepted. I called the 833 number for an explanation why. I was told I returned to many products. The store itself is clean, but since women and men are touching and sampling the makeup and skin care, buying it would be a safer choice since their has been COVID protocols. I understand their concern but a sign in the store or written messages on the receipts letting you know you.. *********************** could have contacted me since they had my online account, email and telephone and given me a warning in advance. Now I am told in a very cold email response that they will uphold the 1 year decision. So now I am unable to return anything until August ****. I do not see the justification on this outcome. Again I would have compiled with their return policy if it was stated to me in advance. **************************** Ref #****-7366

      When I purchase items using the vendor Instacart and subsequently return the items to the store, Instacart will not refund the money for the items. On one particular time Instacart owes me $256.00 in returns. I have been on the phone for 5 hours explaining the situation and waiting for a manager. I sent the pictures of the receipts to Sephora over 4 times now with still no return. Please be ADVISED that Instacard DOES NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY unless you are constantly on the phone trying to get your money back. Also, Sephora is a COWARD not to show their corporate headquarters phone number.
