      Installed 2022, they come out June 2023 to fix issue, summer 2024 same issue, technician comes out in December tells me there is a water leak issue in the system due to THEIR installation. My **** **** in the winter should be $15, instead it was close to $200. The summer was even worse. Now they dont want to compensate me for those months that I had to pay way too much for an issue that they created because of their terrible installation.

      Oh my gosh, BBB, from looking at the reviews, Sun Run just keeps doing and saying the same thing over and over (On chat they say,we know it is frustrating....) BUT nothing is being done about ***** my system doesn't work and I have no guarantee so SunRun wants to charge me $584 for a problem that only THEY can do something about. So I talked to *** and they can do nothing. It's not their system. But they can charge us for what is called a Tru Up bill. That is the back and forth energy that we consume when our solar systems are not working or are not big enough to accomodate all our kwh usage. (Thats what happened to me with Tesla)So they both have a monopoly on you because you can't just call someone out to fix this and shop around for a cheaper fee.( I even asked *** to turn off my electricity so i wouldnt have to pay the Tru Up. )That $584 is what you are going to be charged because only SunRun can fix it and like the people in the reviews said, it can take many more days and you still have to pay PGE for the power that you are using but not generating. To me this is a scam. They want me to pay for their problem. I paid thousands of dollar for the system, told by the salesmsn NOT to get a battery because I would generate so much power I wouldn't need one, give PGE all my extra and I am trying to help the environment. Yet, as usual these days, really it is a big fat pain.

      I have been having issues with my solar panel which was installed by Sunrun since June 2024. They promised me that i will no longer be paying ****** any bill after I agree to install their system except their charge. Initially, after having the Solar System installed, i end up paying the ****** plus Sunrun. until now, i have been complaining to the vendor about my situation. they have given me a lot of alibis, from dirty solar panel , to excessive shade brought by tree and enough sunlight, Finally, last December they finally charged my Tesla power wall whish they also set up. The double bill continued despite that the system is already charging then I found out that they did not include my AC in my bedroom, pool pump and garage into the system. I can provide you the bills i have been paying with **** and Sunrun. They informed me the AC, garage and pool pump is not included in the system and that I have to pay extra again to connect it to solar system. I would like your help on this issue and i would like them to remove the solar system they install for giving me false information, Lemon law?

      This company is a scam. Had a transaction with **** that resulted to a big problem on my part. Him and another guy came by to the house I was working at, asked how can I help them. **** said they have a promo which was a backup battery and it's in connection with HECO. I told him upfront that I have an account with Sunrun, assumed agreement from previous owner when I bought the house. I asked **** if I'm eligible for "additional panels". Fast forward, we set and appointment, came by to assess the solar unit and house. After assessment he said I am eligible.We then proceed with the application. I also asked him to send me a copy of revised agreement/contract for me to review, thinking that my existing account is the one revised. At this point or any chance during the processing he never mention of a second account to me.Fast forward, the additional panels and backup battery were installed, great. I only found out that I have a second account when bills came. I questioned why seems like I'm being billed double, had past due bills. I said how can that be, I'm enrolled in autopay? Lady on the phone told me to reenroll to autopay, which I did, I guess they collected several months "past dues" amounting to more than $700 right away. Until next month bill came, I saw two payments in one month time. Since then I deactivated the autopay for the 2nd account. I complained, I told them I asked for "additional panels" not additional account. if I was told having additional panels would mean having a new account, I could have stop from there or could have choose another option. Been messaging **** to cooperate, he verbally admitted it's his fault for not explaining clearly but I can't use that as proof to the company.
      And since I stopped paying the bills, the added panels have been remotely deactivated, my account had been to collection agency and been reported to the credit bureaus. This is the dilemma I am in now causing me a lot of stress.

      System performed ok till now. They told me they would know about issues before me but yet I had to inform them. Been down since January 22 and technician will not come out till March 12th. That's a month and a half paying for nothing.

      I dont know where to begin. I moved into a home that had a Sunrun system installed that I had to except. In the two months that Ive lived in my new house, my Sunrun set up has produced a fraction of its estimated power for one month andhas completely stopped working for the last one. After spending an hour and a half on the phone with the company, the soonest somebody can comeout and service my system is over a month away. I know for a fact, if I went to ***** to have a system installed, they would have somebody there this weekend. I am beyond frustrated with this company who has manipulated the original contract to charge more per kilowatt with a lower estimated yearly allotment than the contract states. I would love for them to come and take this system off my house, but Im locked into a contract and theres nothing I can do. So for the next month, I will be paying a bill and provided zero service. I strongly urge anybody out to not do business with this company. I have solar on my other house that is now a rental property. I have a third of the amount of panels that produced twice as much. I have never received a bill for my electric company. With my Sunrun system, my last my first electric bill was $270 and I a third of the amount stated in the contract. I feel helpless to this system. Theyre protected by their contract. They have to do nothing and other than a couple of kind employees Ive been offered nothing but an apology. I dont understand how a company can charge you and provide zero service. Avoid using Sunrun for your solar system. There are much better companies out there.

      ******* customer service, poor installation. Now I have a leaking roof into my living room and have to speak with someone in the ***********. This company is the worst and if I could give a zero I would. Stay far away from sunrun solar.!

      Worst solar company ever. Installed solar on a rental home with the tenant signature. The owner had no knowledge of installation. Sun Run refused to cooperate until a lawyer got involved. Now they are dragging their feet to remove their equipment from the property and removing the lean on the home.

      If I could give Sunrun a Zero I would. I asked for a written quote and got sent to there website where a vague quote was posted. I again asked for a written quote and got snap shots from the website. Not very professional. I met 2 other solar companies and chose one who took the time to go through their written quote and educate my wife and I on the process. None of which was offered or done by SunRun. When I notified SunRun that we chose another company I was told they would match the other companies offer. Still not written offer or did they even care about our needs or concerns. It was only about getting the business. This type of service in the beginning process shows a lack of customer service after the sale.

      I wish I never put solar on my roof. My electric bill is so high and I am also paying for solar which the price is going up and up. I would not advise anyone to get solar with this company I dont know about other companies. When I call for help, all I get is everything look fine from here.
