      This company comes to my house about once a month usually late at night sometimes as late as 9pm. The salespeople bang on my front door, ring the bell multiple times, and have even banged on my windows before coming back multiple times in the same evening. When I try to search this business to file a complaint with BBB the ************* address will not come up yet they are somehow buying an A+ rating. I am so sick of them. The one time I listened to the pitch they wanted copies of all my PGE bills and wasted nearly two hours of my time before a second guy came and said my house wasn't even eligible due to old wiring. They've been back nearly 10 times since then. I've tried multiple times to contact the company but they won't stop trying to sell or lease me solar even though they're told me my house doesn't qualify. I just want them to stop coming by. I've never experienced any other company doing this level of harassment. When the person was ringing my bell multiple times and banging on my windows, while I was in the middle of cooking dinner, they came back a couple hours later and I called the police. This is crazy.

      System down over a month. Originally told me will fix in 5 days. Many calls from me to them, many referrals to others. They sent me a task list for me to fix. Didn't work. Back to referrals to others, They are great with promises, nice talking guys. Super bad service and results.

      If I can go back and choose a different company, I would go with a different company. Everything to get me on board was extremely communicative, GREAT as it gave me a sign of what to expect, or rather what I should have expected...Now, everything has completely fallen off the wagon. I was to have solar active already and it has been a week now with NOTHING and a technician needs to come out now to manually do it...THEN SEND SOMEONE. Waiting and waiting with 0 communication what so ever from anyone. I've called multiple and multiple times when addressing my issue and always hung up on being held or transferred. All this money they have and they cannot even either get their technology straight or hire/train representatives. I have YET to get anything back from anyone on who is going to assist with the panels. Not even a text message or email. Communication started strong, but only to get your money then forget about you.

      ******** customer service! I had a removal and reinstall that I had to complain and constantly call to get anything done every step of the way! They do not follow through and continue to charge you even when you are not connected to their service. They did not complete the final inspection with the permit they pulled and it is outstanding on my house. They put you on hold for hours only to have you disconnected because they close!

      For 4 months my solar panels have not been generating energy. I was never notified by the company, so I to my surprise when I received my year to date charges from ***, it astronomical. When I called SCE they informed me of how much energy I was generating. I called Sunrun they informed me that my inverter needed to be replaced but due to supply chain issues, they havent been able to replace the part. So Im still responsible for paying my monthly dues to Sunrun and my year to date charges to SCE.

      Door to door salesman for Vivint Solar who either cannot read or chooses to ignore clear and direct signage, right next to doorbell, that explicitly states NO SOLICITATION! Rings doorbell and interrupts a zoom work meeting. If this is how disrespectful the companies front line people are, can you imagine how awful the rest of the company is? Pathetic.This occurred in ****************** neighborhood in *******, ** 06/17/2025 at approximately 1430 hours.

      Sexist, condescending, and rude. I don't know if your canvassers are taught how to interact with people, but if I see another *** from this company enter my property, I will be calling the cops. The customer service line asked "what do you want me to do?" I want ypu to do ypur job, and maybe start training your people to not be colossal bigots. Luckily for everyone in our area, someone in our household has a hearty line to PR/news cycles, and will be making efforts to enlighten the public about the disgusting way this company has decided to interact with us. I hope anyone thinking of using Sunrun for solar will reconsider.

      If I could leave this review with 0 stars I would.Sunrun has repeatedly harassed my household to get us to buy into their scam of a program. We have called Sunrun customer service AT LEAST a dozen times to complain and get on some sort of a Do Not Contact list, weve purchased No Solicitation signage (which does not stop them from soliciting, so clearly their employees cant read), and had to call the police twice. WHEN DOES IT END. Every time we requested to not be bothered, they always claimed they were putting into some system. Apparently the system is Terros and clearly doesnt communicate with any other salesmen in their own system. The salesmen that come to your door are all kids right out of high school that dont know any better, so these people are preying on young kids to do their dirty work. Their supervisors tell them to go door to door between 8-9pm because thats the best time to get ahold of people. In what world is that the best time? Thats the best time to annoy the s*** out of people. After some investigation too, we found out that the latest salesman that we called the cops on AND HIS SUPERVISOR werent even on the Approved Solicitors List in our city. So the higher *** are knowingly sending their employees out into terrible situations.This is an awful company with a terrible business model.

      Paid over $38,000 for solar panels less than 5yrs ago, no system is not working, haven't produde any energy in over a week, they wanna charge me over $600 dollars to have a technician come and sre what's wrong, not to fix yet, just to diagnose whats wrong. That is absolutely outrageous, please do not believe any of their sales people, make sure EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTH WHEN MAKING THE **** IS IN WRITING. Terrible company, WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

      My first solar panel installation was an excellent experience. The communication with the sales person was thoughtful and complete. He assessed the household's needs perfectly and followed-up several times. The installation progressed smoothly, and I received solar power shortly after installation. I recommended Sunrun to multiple people because my experience was very *********** January I started a conversation with Sunrun to install additional panels and back-up batteries. From the first interaction, it was as if I was working with a different company. There was miscommunication, and little assessment for how the energy needs for the residence may have changed. In February, the regional Sunrun employee lead me to believe that it might be possible to have the upgraded system functioning in March before I left for an extended trip. Admittedly, not likely, but *********** is June, and many months have passed.I have called the city, and they confirmed their work was done months ago. I called the energy company and they have no record of the upgrade happening. They referred me back to Sunrun. I contacted the representative at Sunrun, sometimes receiving a message, (we'll let you know when there is information) and sometimes there was no answer. I've given Sunrun the information they've requested twice. During the second communication it was as if there was no memory of the information having been sent.I don't know what's happening internally with Sunrun. It is as if this project has been forgotten, and as a client, my communication has been ********** this point, the additional solar panels and batteries are not functioning. i will continue to contact the company..
