UPDATE-- BBB won't let me leave the review with the phone number it its entirety attached to the 'Creative Cloud for small and medium business' (the one that ends with ****) on the site ********************************************************************************. This number sounds like a phishing. When I called it sent me to the first phone tree asking if I was 50 years old and older to press 1 and if not, press 2. The second prompt asked about health insurance. Finally, once I heard a voice, it either was a taped voice recording or someone that ignored me saying "hello, excuse me..."

Apologies for the poor expereince. Based on our initial investigation, it appears that the phone number listed on our website (********************************************************************************), which ends in ****, is associated with Adobe support. For any assistance related to support, you can also find a chat support option located at the bottom right of the page.

I have use Adobe products in some compacity since college in ****. 20 years I've been a customer. I don't know what is going on with them lately but seeing that the bulk of their complaints have been recently, tells me something very wrong is going on there. This company has gone from one that I admired to one that is now a scam. I have been trying for months and months to cancel. Every time I try its impossible and I find myself in a chat with someone who offers to extend for 90 days or lower the cost for 3 months. It puts you in this cycle where they are getting you to agree to extend your yearly (monthly charge) plan. No matter how many times I've asked to cancel. They won't do it. The website wont let you remove your card and when you try to cancel there are about 10 pop *** with "exclusive offers" and you just give up. I once thought I had canceled and only to find out I hadn't clicked through enough. I realize that this once reputable company is now a scam. A subscription scam and it works like this:They offer a yearly (charged monthly) plan to prevent you from asking for a refund. You have to cancel your plan within 14 days. Not 14 days after a monthly charge but after you first agree to the plan. That is why it is such a confusing process. It is that way on purpose. They use 90 extensions to get you beyond that 14 days so they can charge you their ridiculous cancelation fee. I pointed this out and they canceled my plan and refunded me. They know it's wrong. The saddest part is that their products are great. They don't need a scam to get people to pay to use them. I hope they get caught. I really do. 20 years for nothing. It makes me want to stop making digital art. It really does.

Adobe has directions on their website on how to cancel your subscription--they are wrong and misleading. It says you can cancel by a button, but there is no button on the actual page. Nobody answers the phone or your emails. It's very hard to get a hold of them, and then they will say they have canceled and then don't, and/or they charge you for the rest of the year anyway (both happened to me). To cancel, I found an offline link posted by others with the same problem to a page with their help chat where I could talk to someone. If they didn't make industry-standard software, they would have no clients at all. I am switching to Affinity.

I assumed Adobe wouldn't be a scammer like this-- tricking people in with free trials and then misleading language that does not inform people that free trial turns into an annual contract that you get get fined an exorbitant fee if you try to cancel. And it sounds from other reports here that is equally difficult to get out of an auto-renewal. The program is too hard for me to even use but this will cost me hundreds of dollars now.

I signed up for a week long trial with Adobe that indicated its monthly subscription was $19.99. Unfortunately I missed the cancellation date (my fault) and was charged $19.99. When I tried to cancel online, a warning appeared telling me that I would lose access to service if I cancelled that day. So I kept it, thinking since I paid for that month, it might come in handy. I attempted to cancel online again today but was then warned that Id have an early termination fee of $99 because this was an annual plan. Note that with any other service, you have access to the app or tech until the effective date. What? That wasnt made clear when I signed up. When I finally found a human to talk to after chatting with a bot (there were no customer service operators available) by googling the customer service number, the rep told me that she could provide a lower priced plan. Mind you, this wasnt available to me when I tried to cancel online. She also told me that since I tried to cancel 14 days past the sign up date, I could be penalized $99 for early cancellation. Adobe has very unscrupulous business policies. Its content online isnt aligned with what its representatives are sharing. Their policies are confusing and are designed to dupe consumers. Shame on you, Adobe.

Adobe has a system where we cannot turn off auto-renewal. They also have a system where, when we cancel, we lose access to our products immediately, lose the rest of our contract term, and need to pay a 50% penalty for the remaining time. So, effectively, there is no way out of subscription without some sort of penalty or at least losing time that we've already paid for.I have one month left on my subscription, and I don't want to renew it. However, I'd kind of like to use the month that I've already paid for. Nope. In order to use the month that I've already paid for, I need to cancel the very day before it renews. Otherwise, I lose that time. Of course, if I miss the window at all, I get charged for a whole other year. So, I'm just going to lose the last month of my subsription that, again, I already paid for, rather than risk being charged for a whole extra year. They are obviously aware of this, and don't care. No other company does anything like this that I've seen. With other companies, I can turn off renewal or at least get the rest of the services that I've paid for. Adobe's behaviour should be illegal. No company should be able to prevent turning off auto-renew, and no company should require people to cancel their services immediately in order to prevent renewal. Disgraceful.

they literally trap and rob their customers, what a rakcet!!! scammers!! its crazy you cant leave ****** reviews for companies like this. they deserve negative 5 stars for their cancellation policy, if i have to pay 50% of remaining balance then the service should continue for the value that you have to pay out.

I am a student who was required to have Adobe suites for class last year at this time. Once the semester was over, I tried to cancel my subscription, however their page was down and I was NOT ABLE to cancel my subscription. Due to this, I have apparently been charged $21.23 a month since last December. I am extremely resentful of the money gouging and not being able to cancel my account. I called today and asked for a refund for the past few months and was met with nothing, this is not how a business should act.
