We cancelled our Adobe plan in 2020. They never stopped charging our credit card, which we discovered in April 2025. They refunded only 3-months on April 14th, and informed that they cancelled the account. They turned around and took another payment on April 22nd!! We had to reach out again to cancel account---which they FINALLY did. I also requested they remove our cc info from account, which they said they did. As i dont trust them at all, I had **************** arrange a block of any further charges from Adobe. We cancelled this account THREE TIMES!! They took our money for FIVE YEARS!! Never again.

Can't cancel without being charged a cancellation fee of $100+ for my month to month membership. Buyer beware!

I signed up for a free trial. I cancelled the trial and continued to be charged. They told me that the charge was for another account that I had signed up for and then tried to charge me $140 for an early cancellation fee- then they tried to charge me for 2 additional months as that would be cheaper than the cancellation fee. I insisted and they seem to have cancelled now without further charges. I am expecting a refund for the 2 months of charges- after I cancelled the subscription, but we will see. Very bad business from such a big, well known company. I wish there was a way for them to be more accountable for these clearly on going questionable practices. There are pages and pages of similar complaints here!

In early 2024, I switched my Adobe subscription to a more affordable plan. The plans and payment section of their site advertises a monthly rate of $15.99, with no indication of additional taxes. However, I was subsequently charged $16.99 per month, reflecting an undisclosed tax of $1. I have retained documentation supporting this discrepancy.Upon contacting Adobe's customer support to address this issue, I requested a refund for the unexpected charges. Instead of issuing the refund, a senior supervisor unilaterally applied a 30-day free trial to my account without my consent. They clarified that this was not a free trial and would remain unless I canceled my plan. However, the email I received stated, "We credited your account with 30 free day(s) of service," which closely resembles a free trial. I did not request or agree to this credit, and it felt like a forced resolution, an imposed remedy that left me with an active subscription I never consented to, rather than providing a proper refund for the potential overcharges. In my opinion, this lack of transparency in pricing and the unilateral nature of the resolution seem deceptive and misleading.Additionally, the senior supervisor mentioned that a refund couldn't be processed due to system limitations without canceling the plan. Typically, businesses should attempt to provide a proper refund outside of system constraints if it's a system error, but Adobe chose not to. This, in my opinion, constitutes a deceptive business practice.Furthermore, I have documentation from a senior supervisor indicating that multiple updates have been applied to the site. This raises concerns about the accuracy of the information when their agents kept telling me that this info is present on the area of the site, I took a screenshot of. I have screen recorded footage of myself navigating the plans and payment section of the site, which shows no clear indication of the additional tax fee. This lack of transparency is concerning.

Adobe is a rip off . I tried to cancel my subscription and got a serous run around. I called and was transferred to another guy and that is when the run around started. He kept me on hold for a very long time, came back and gave me numbers to help solve the problem, I put the numbers in and made a mistake. I told the guy about the mistake and he once again put me on hold. To make a long story short, he came and said that he wanted 1000 dollars or he would lock and cause serious damage to my credit. Like an idiot, I went to the bank and withdrew the money and the entire time he was on hold guiding me to do the n next step.. In the meantime I called the bank and told them what was going on and they told me that that this was a scam. In the meantime, I called the guy back and told him that I was not giving him **** cent because this was a scam. He became angry so I hung up on him. I hope that the BBB can help me with this cancellation of this unwanted account.

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat this morning to my computer, to read some pdfs. I was asked if I would allow Adobe to make changes to my computer to install. And I said yes. There was NO option for ******. No Custom Installation option just download and that's it.Yet, suddenly there were bars indication the progress of BOTH Adobe Acrobat and McAfee installation on my computer, whether I wanted it or not! I tried several different ways to Uninstall. Through Settings: I checked Uninstall, and all I got was an option for ****** to make changes on my computer, when I clicked "No" nothing happened and the program was still there. I tried that three times.I tried going through the Control Panel, and all I got was a blank screen and McAfee was STILL on my computer.I researched this online and found information saying that that Adobe and McAfee are now business partners. Also, if I wanted to uninstall McAfee, I had to download ANOTHER program called ******* I tried to do that. Except I had to agree to this caveat saying that ****** would NOT be responsible for any damage done to my laptop files or programs while uninstalling a program I never wanted in the first place! I repeat, I was supposed to absolve ****** for any damages caused if I wanted to get rid of something they foisted upon me. I went to the website and ended up having to have someone (obviously out of the country) get on my computer remotely to get rid of it. Which I was extremely uncomfortable with. ****** had no right to set up something that required such a problem. Adobe had NO RIGHT to allow such a thing, and I am currently looking for alternate programs to read my pdfs.

I am writing to hopefully help others in dealing with Adobe and their monthly subscription fees.Back in December 2024 (around 12/30, 12/31) I signed up for Adobe free trial.I was charged a payment on January 7, 2025.I immediately cancelled my subscription (I have the email from Adobe verifying this); but the following month I was again charged a payment on February 7, 2025.I called Adobe and spent almost 45 minutes on the phone and the lady wasn't able to help me.She said she couldn't find my account; you have to be kidding me, right? As of today, I still haven't received any refund. Why would they continue to charge my credit card even after I cancelled weeks ********** me this is frustrating and seems so wrong. They are hurting people, especially people who can't afford their ******** do we stop companies like this from stealing from people? How sad to live in a society that you can't trust businesses or ********* shows me that the Bible, no matter what people may say, is true; and as sinners in this world, we truly need ****** to be our Savior as the Bible says - Gospel ****, 3:16-17!
