      First Tech Federal Credit Union has the poorest customer service. I recently made a payment on my vehicle account. I asked what was due and paid exactly what the customer service representative told me to pay. A few days later I called to pay the vehicle off and was told that my account was late. I explained to them what I was told and they told me that the total amount due was not paid. Again, the vehicle has been paid in full and despite this, I was charged with a late payment. I was also told by them that it would 90 days for my pink slip, *********************************************************************************************************************** within 2 weeks. I am without more words and don't understand companies like this, that is companies that forget who their customers are.

      Just a bunch of cowards that forget their roots as working for those in need and not needing those for work. ***** wouldn't take this and The all new First Tech want to be all high profile. I had some slip *** about direct deposit and my account was closed within the first week of being opened. I have a feeling it has something to do with my credit score being low at the time being one of the deciding factors for the foreclosure. Not only did they say that for sure my account will close but they didn't give me a chance as a client to be a good client. They just labeled me suspicious. Then I applied for another account to be opened with my new account at the time. After they had viewed my credit score my suspicious account became flagged for closure with no way to appeal or reconsider my account in the future. Just because theyre now a brand new fancy name of a fed credit union that has high profilers and a minimum credit score of 660 to apply for anything now. One of the worst bankings I have had signed up for. Their only incentive at the time was a 5% apy on their savings. What an a** hat of me to think they were something special at my first sign up. After my direct deposits have gone wrong they decide to charge me fees to take the deposit. F*** you.

      The application started at Credit Karma where they said I had an Outstanding chance of getting approved. I did the "check my rate" for loan options with them, and then applied for the best one for me. The application process was quite literally very painless. I was impressed with Splash's application process; I uploaded the requested documents and waited for review. The reason my loan was under review was due to my credit freeze that I placed on my credit reports (my SSN is on the dark web due to so many data leaks from other companies I do business with). So, they, Splash Financial, called and left a message about some more questions for security reasons. I called back, answered questions, but nothing. I get another call from Splash saying they had to call ME for security purposes to answer those questions. Ok. answered the same ones again... still nothing, application still under review... so I reached out to Splash again, and the *** said.. OH I am not sure why this is still under review.. let me push this thru, and verified my date of employment for the 4th time, then still nothing....reached out again and they said "Oh, we need more pay stubs".... ok, no one called me to let me know (my company was recently purchased by a larger company had to provide continuity of employment etc.), then FINALLY, First Tech then took 3 days before I received approved funds. I applied on the 10/17 and was funded on 10/24. Due to the lack of calls from Splash and the 1 to2 business days advertised funding.. is the reason for my rate.

      I have been with this credit union for at least 30 years, mainly with my *** investment as I can buy and sell stocks at anytime. Love the flexibility to do so.

      Trash! I would file a BBB Complaint but they have been useless in helping me resolve stuff in the past. Just know that when it comes to First Tech Federal they will quickly and erroneously report delinquency to credit bureaus, they hound you about payments even if you are a day late (which is asinine because they have a 10-day grace ******* and make refinancing difficult/dang near impossible. Their customer service also leaves a lot to be desiredstaffed with people who speak to me like Im an idiot and rarely if ever do anything to resolve whatever issue Ive called in about. I cannot wait to finish paying my loan off and be rid of these crooks.
