      I was in the market for a debt consolidation/personal loan during my investigation FTCU consistently made the top 4. Since I already had a membership with them, I decided to take the path of least resistance and I'm Happy that I did. Due to my busy work schedule, I only had early mornings, evenings and weekends available, and I figured this would add a delay to the entire process since most institutions are only available Mon-Fri normal business hours. I was willing to accept the delay. However, this was not the case, everything was completed online and in a timely manner. I was up early before work online; I received an email back from them during my workday and I addressed all questions in the evenings. The entire process exceeded my expectations, and I won't hesitate in returning to them in the future. (I will say this, have your business in order and send them what they ask for)

      Just started an account and they already closed it. I tried to do a $50 transfer and it took them several days to take it out when I thought it was gonna be immediate. In the mean time I had my check deposited in the account. They sent my check back and told me theyre investigating me for fraud because of the $50 transfer. The reason why the $50 transfer was not there when they decided all those days later bc of an un authorized charge on my Chime Account side. Now Im not getting paid this week and I have to wait for my job to get the money back and then send it to me. Me trying to be responsible with this 1 star bank was an epic fail. Now I wont be able to pay my bills so Im going to tell the people at my job dont use them at all or they can possibly stuck like I am right now

      I having been going through an extremely difficult time over the last several years. My wife passed away, I lost three dogs to cancer, and I have been dealing with some very serious health problems. So I took advantage of an offer from First Tech that I thought was designed to help me financially during this difficult time. Because I missed something in the fine print, however, instead of helping me they actually burdened me with even more debt. When I pleaded with them to show me some ****** they offered me a paltry amount of money back. Theyre still saddling me with over $3,000 in additional interest, which is a crushing blow. And this is the same organization that made a $10,000 error on my account that I had to make several phone calls to resolve. Did they offer me anything for the time I had to spend correcting their error or for the stress they put me through. No. So what was their accountability? Nothing. Unfortunately, First Tech seems to march to same mantra so many other greedy companies march to: When you make a mistake, you pay. When we make a mistake, you still pay. Think twice before doing business with First Tech. They really dont care about you. They just want to squeeze a few more bucks out of you like every other greedy outfit out there.

      Horrible customer service, every time we spoke to them regarding total loss claim. Not only did we pay our loan on time every time for the duration of the vehicle, we have just endured a horrible accident requiring healthcare cost, emotional strain, etc & these people are rude and now have taken out payments after car is paid off by insurance claiming they wont reimburse us for this when the car is a total loss prior. I couldnt be more saddened by the poor customer experience and poor quality of communication by those involved. Dealing with this situation is hard enough on our family then throw in this extra is disappointing. Never would I recommend First Tech Federal Credit Union to anyone.

      Best personal loan credit union I have ever encountered. They have impeccable, customer service, and fast turnaround times. They also provide excellent interest rates and no penalty for early payoff. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
