I had numerous fraudulent accounts opened in my name. I contacted all known banks, filed a claim with credit unions, and placed a freeze on my identity. All *other* banks addressed the issue immediately, closed the accounts, and mailed a confirmation. This shady establishment refused to address the issue without me jumping through numerous hoops, took 30 days to "investigate," and concluded the accounts were valid because I didn't take the extra steps they made up to make the process as difficult and time consuming as possible. I made numerous phone calls to check on the "progress" of this joke of an investigation during which I was directed to create an account to communicate with them. As I am not now, nor will I ever be, a customer of theirs, I declined this hoop as well. This company treats victims as criminals and deserves zero stars for their horrid approach to identity theft.First Tech Federal Credit Union

After misplacing my son's car payment money, they would not try to help at all. he gave his checking account information days before taking the money out of his account, I ask them to pull the recorded phone call and stall for two days and then told me that they couldn't verify if it was me and my son giving them that information so they say they can't use the recordings, after they had a debt collector call me about that car payment. If you guys can help me please give me call and I can explain this situation alot better.First Tech Federal Credit Union

After further review, we see you did make a payment in December which was then returned and we provided a courtesy late fee reversal. Currently I see you are working with one of our representatives in Consumer Lending to provide copies of bank statements and the check received from First Tech to aid in further research. Their process for replacing credit cards closed due to fraud is extremely slow (took 3 weeks for the replacement card). Tried activating it from my phone, and it wouldn't because the last 4 of my SSN was "incorrect" (it was not). So I activated it online. All good; was able to re-setup autopays with several vendors, ETC. Then, out of nowhere, when I tried to pay my city water bill, it was declined. Tried a couple times, including the next day; no luck. Spent almost an hour on the phone with customer service reps; when transferred to the automated system, was told the CC number was invalid. Had to call back; finally got it resolved. The First Tech software flagged the water bill as "unusual"; was also told that the system flags as suspicious a bunch of charges on a recently-activated credit card - which is dumb, because when you get a replacement card, the first thing you do is SETUP YOUR AUTOPAYMENTS. The reps were VERY friendly & professional; no problem with them. Their software is TERRIBLE.First Tech Federal Credit Union

Been with first tech for over a year in that year I have deposited well over 50 checks written to my business a sole proprietor LLC signed over to me by me the only owner with no issues until today after over a year of doing this legally and correct they decided now its a 3rd party check and to remove funds and mail the check back I spent an hour in there bank to no resolve or explanation as to why now after soooo many times having no issues and no laws being broken why they have stolen my money and overdraffted my acct only to be told to bad to sad your problem now I will be changing banks asap and this is completely unacceptable and theftFirst Tech Federal Credit Union

Worst bank ever. I would NEVER recommend this bank to anyone, ever. Thier 0% APR credit card is too good to be true and a scam to bring in customers.I applied for thier 0% APR credit card and was told that they canceled the application, without notice, after 2 months of disorganized paperwork requests.If you do apply, be prepared to:- Waste 2-3 months of you life dealing with bank lenders who don't have a direct phone number.- Submitting enormous amount of paperwork to not only prove you have income, but that it goes to a bank and not under your matress.- Start over, multiple times with the application process.- Have zero communication about application status.First Tech Federal Credit Union

I opened up a credit card for the 0 transfer balance fee. Just opening the account was very scarce in communication. It took a long time for the card to even get to me. Like three or four weeks. They have an antiquated website. You have to transfer funds from your personal bank account into the account you open with them. That takes one to two business days, then you transfer that to make your credit card payment. Their website is horrible and gives you many errors and crashes. I tried to pay my first payment, and I suspect the website did not complete the transaction. Went on today to make my second payment only to find out that the first one never went through. I called them because they charged me a $25 late payment fee. I asked them if they would give me a little ***** since I believe their website was the problem. They would not help. I have credit cards with *********** and have never had a late payment. They also dont email you or send you updates of when your payment is due or a reminder. First tech use be a great credit union I've been a member since **** and was fairly happy with them. I've had a savings and checking accounts, had a car loan, and HELOC as well as *** accounts but over the past few years they have been a huge disappointment and source of frustration between cutting services such as having a drive thru teller to canceling debt cards due to security breaches and giving no notice other than your card not working as well as overall incompetence from employees and a zoro customer service. I would suggest you bank anywhere but first tech federal credit union they are the absolute worst I only wish I could give a rating of zero stars or better yet negative stars. At this point I am planning to take my money and business elsewhere.First Tech Federal Credit Union
