      As a seller, ebay completely sides with buyers without taking into account any information provided by the seller and will pull funds from your account at their will. An item was sent out and **** did not update the tracking information. I purchased the shipping through ebay. I kept the seller informed as possible but he went through Ebay to process a refund. Ebay granted him his refund even though the tracking information showed movement on the package. I sold the item for $600 and Ebay took $173 for fees and promoting the item, netting me $427. Ebay decides to refund the buyer and charges my Bank account the total cost of $600. A couple days later the item shows delivered. So I am not out $780 and the buyer got the item for free. When trying to appeal their decision, they must have AI making the decisions for them as all the information asked was clearly provided but appeal was denied based on so called information that was not submitted. I called and appealed again and they just send out messages saying your appeal has been denied and then list irrelevant information as their reasoning for denial. So now I am out $780 on top of an item that is worth $600 that was delivered to the buyer and can not get any coherent answers from Ebay.

      I created an account with the intention of purchasing used CDs. I was browsing a large store front and adding cds to my cart. Later in the day, I received an email that my account had been banned for unsafe practices with no way to appeal. Im not sure how browsing and adding cds to cart is unsafe for the community. I guess Ill just have to buy locally.

      I spent around $350.00 for an item and never received it. Ebay didn't do anything to resolve my issue. So now im out all that money

      AFTER USING EBAY FOR YEARS I BOUGHT A SILVER KRUGERRAND OFF EBAY AND AN OUNCE BAR OF SILVER-BOTH OF THESE TURNED OUT TO BE FAKE-MY SERIOUS PROBLEM IS AFTER USING EVERY AVENUE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I CANNOT GET HELP--EVEN AN ANSWER-ONE OF THESE EBAY SELLERS HAS AN OPERATING STORE SELLING THE SAME FAKE SILVER---I WANT MY MONEY BACK+ THE **** OF PROFIT THAT SILVER WENT UP-BUT CANNOT GET HELP-IVE USED EVERY AVENUE-WITH AI HE INFORMS ME I CANNOT HAVE AN ASSITANT-WEIRD THOUGH THAT EBAY KNOWS THIS ONE STORE IS SELLING FAKE SILVER AND LETS THEM GO ON S******* OVER CUSTOMERS WHO ARE IN THE DARK**

      I have been a seller since 1999. eBay recently took action on my account due to their own error, which they admitted, and refuse to reverse it. They delisted hundreds of items which I have paid to list. Their communications with sellers are both rude and degrading. They have zero appreciation for the people who make them all their money. They think they are invincible but they are outdated, clunky, ineffective and full of pathetic degrading policies for both buyers and sellers. Their days on top are numbered.

      This complaint is against EBAY. I received a defective phone from one of ebay's sellers at a cost of $212.00. I sent the phone back to the seller ( phone was sent from *****) I had to pay $66.30 for the return thru ***** Phone was mailed back to them on time (world electronic 98) World electronic 98 told me they will refund my money as well, They have my tracking information and so does ebay. Ebay told me **************** has made a final decision.We closed this case because we didn't receive tracking details by Jul 3, 2025.We closed this case because we didn't receive tracking details by Jul 3, 2025. I mailed the item on 6/27/2025, well before july 3rd! I have tracking information, and ebay claims they didn't get the information. I have proof I sent them an email wit tracking information."Though you won't get a refund, you can keep the item.Though you won't get a refund, you can keep the item. "I am super disappointed and I will never do business with ebay again! If you do , use extreme caution!

      The position EBay finds itself in the marketplace is unmatched. Their customer service is also unmatched in how poor and unsatisfactory it is. My account was permanently suspended and blocked without explanation. Previously, I've successfully used EBay to purchase items without issue, done my best to review sellers and be a constructive member of the EBay community. It has been several years since I've purchased anything, during which my account suspension was implemented. Recently, having an interest in some vintage items I return to find my account suspended and blocked. EBay customer service can be contacted for assistance via email, but clearly does not value individuals. Their customer service team is disingenous, sending reassurances they've done all they can for you and your situation with a near instant reply to your request for help, and follow up emails or questions are responded to as if it was your first - clearly they do not read the email you send. They withhold explanation surrounding the reason for the suspension, just that it is final. They disregard reconciliatory attempts to show you can be a constructive member of the community. If your account is hacked, or if you unwittingly broke policy, not only will you not know, but they will not share and will suspend or ban any accounts you may try to create. They do not care for the individual user, whether it is a seller or buyer, and it is clear immediately from their customer support team. It is unfortunate they hold the majority of the market share for online auctions because the company has a clear lack of integrity or respect for the people using this platform.

      I recently had a very frustrating experience with eBay regarding a purchase that was marked delivered but was never received at my address. I followed all the appropriate stepscontacted the seller, the shipping carrier, and eBay support. Despite this, I was repeatedly told that only the seller could issue a refund. eBay advertises a Buyer Protection Policy, but in my case, this protection amounted to nothing. They accepted the shipping status of delivered without verifying that it was delivered to the correct address. I even provided evidence that the item was misdelivered, yet eBay declined any further assistance and refused to issue a refund or hold the seller accountable.This experience makes it clear to me that eBay prioritizes avoiding responsibility over genuinely supporting buyers. Im disappointed in how this situation was handled and hope others take caution when considering eBay for online purchases.
