      I have problems processing a payment, the payment page does not allow progress, it indicates that there is an active invoice, however it does not progress. The payment platform does not work, I already contacted technical support, even through Linkedin and no one follows up on anything, it is unfortunate the way in which they cannot follow up.

      Like many others who have left reviews below, I was not aware until I had already sent my survey out to my email list that I would only be able to view the first 10 responses with my free account. The only way for me to see the rest of my results (over 400) is to pay $99 for a month of their limited service and then remember to cancel so I am not billed repeatedly. Years ago I used survey monkey as a classroom teacher and loved it. Needless to say I am NEVER using it again and spreading the word to fellow online entrepreneurs to stay far far away from this service. If this was made clear when I create my survey I would have gone elsewhere. These shady tactics will be the demise of this company, it is just a question of how long it will take.

      I have also been trying hard to cancel our account but cannot be cancelled, because each time when I touch the billing key, the renewal is already sent out without my permission. Last Year, we tried to cancel the account billing through our credit card company after failing to cancel it online, but when the credit card company tried to cancel the charge, the response was "it cannot be cancelled due to over the cancellation period". And we cannot use our account either after the dispute, for the whole year. There is no customer service nor phone number, chat, or e-mail to get help. Now they sent us an autorenewal notice, and I cannot cancel it again. It was automatically renewed when I tough the billing key. This company totally rip off customers' money to do their so called "business".

      I have been trying to cancel my account but cannot get in touch with a person to help. I have been stuck in robo-response purgatory for days. At this point, I feel my only option is to report the charge as fraudulent.

      BUYER BEWARE of their punitive cancellation policy if you are set up to auto-renew. At the time I? purchased Survey Monkey, I? was encouraged to set up auto renew so I? wouldn't risk losing access to my data.Fast forward: Survey Monkey has a no refund policy, partial or otherwise. I noticed an $1100 charge on my credit card and immediately contacted customer service. It was exactly 23 days after the auto renewal transaction was posted to my card. BTW, I? was not notified via email of this upcoming charge and therefore did not have the opportunity to elect to cancel my renewal prior to the auto renewal charge being posted. I? requested a full refund and asked them to verify that I? had in fact not used Survey Monkey which they verified. Needless to say I? was charged the full year, end of story and repeatedly reminded and sent copies of their ******************* This was a very expensive and punitive penalty especially coming out of the pandemic as a small business owner - terrible experience, time consuming and stressful *******

      They do not explicitly say that you will have to pay for any responses over the limit of 10 until you actually have more than 10 responses. At which point, they don't allow you to view them unless you pay AT LEAST 25 dollars lol. What a horrible, unethical business model.

      Survey Monkey does NOT tell you ahead of time that you can only receive 10 responses to the 'free' survey. Then they try to hold you hostage by saying that you have to upgrade and pay if you want to see any responses over 10. I highly resent that type of deceptive upsell!! I canceled my survey and will never use this product again.

      I just had the same experience so many other reviewers mention. I sent out a survey to an email list of 500 users, but only discovered after the results came in that I only had access to the first 10 responses. Tried to upgrade to the $99/month plan so I could see all the responses, but their website won't process payment for that plan. All the other plans are billed annually and non-refundable if you cancel early. I suspect they intentionally have it set up so that you can not purchase the $99/month that is billed monthly. I certainly wouldn't enter into any long term engagement with such a dishonest company,I chose to use them because their past reputation was great. This is no longer that company. My recommendation is to avoid them.
