      Homeowners and people in Escrow BEWARE if you see them as the policy holders. We had a plumbing issue happen over the weekend (as things do) and it was so hard to get ahold of anyone, and when we did it was multiple issue after issue. Even the contractors they sent out said this place is a joke. Don't let realtors take the cheapest option with your home warranty. It's too important. We've been handling the plumbing issues ourselves. Not even sure what good this "warranty" is. Also, contractor gave us a heads up to NEVER pay in advance for work and attempt a reimbursement. He said they'll find every reason not to cover it. How they stay in business with so many complaints on the BBB is beyond me. When will the BBB look into them? Do they have a yelp? How do we get realtors to stay away?

      I have had Old Republic on our 2 homes since 2012! I have never had any problems with them or the A/C companies that come out. I have heard lots of negative issues on other home warranty from family/friends and have referred them to old republic We have had electrical and water heater issues on one of our homes, and again very pleased!!! Thank you Old Republic for your service. The best!!!

      I called in a service request on my dishwasher as I bought a new home and purchased the warranty. They said they had assigned the service request out to a company but I waited weeks with no call. I called back and I was told I would have to find someone to fix it myself they didnt have anyone to send out. Wow.

      I am extremely disappointed in this company. They have ZERO interest in helping their customers. ZERO interest in making a problem better. I sent in a service request for my washing machine 4 WEEKS AGO! The company they contract with - Well, ALL of the companies they contract with are the worst of the worst! Probably to save a buck while making their customers lives h*** This company came to check my washing machine. Told me they needed to order a part and would call when it comes in. They called a week later only to tell me they couldnt come out for an ADDITIONAL 2 weeks. Side note - I am a single mom of 3 kids including and infant. I have a Home Warranty to ensure I am protected with anything that *** go wrong in the home To relieve any added stress that *** get thrown at me. I am not any more special or unique to the next customer but I do expect a certain level of service/help from a company I am paying a lot of money to. So the company schedules me 2 weeks out with a window of **** to be at my home. I make the proper arrangements to be home and available at that time. At 11:45am they call me to tell me that they are kissing a part and that the part that they did order, is broken. I call Old Republic Home Protection to express my concerns. I talk to an agent and let her know how upset I am and she seems empathetic. Then transfers me and Im hold for 90-minutes before hanging up and calling back. Now Im on hold another 45 minutes. I hang up and call back and select the sales option. Of course someon there picks up almost immediately. They have plenty of people to take calls for new sales but nobody around to help the current customers. So again, I axplain my problem and the agent says well, do you have the best number to authorizations? And the best time to reach them is probably in the morning - I dont think theyre there right now. ?? WHAT!? No please tell me when my call will be important enough for someone to be around to answer my needs. Continue above

      Extremely unprofessional. I had to wait on hold over an hour to speak to someone each time I called to speak to a representative about my claim. My entire family was battling Covid in ******* when it was over 115 degrees and they sent a work order to an ** company who wasnt even open. They were also not open so I submitted my claim via their website. Then they said we had to wait over 24 hours for their in service provider to fix the problem. We did and their provider even said they never contacted us. Now they are trying to not reimburse for the ** repairs. Having someone go without ** in 115 degrees is dangerous and life threatening. This business has no morals.

      Work Order #********. We had visitors over the weekend of Saturday August 27th when the A/C for the second floor went out. Didn't call on Sunday for A/C repair, because they would not respond until Monday August 29. Called on Monday and service provider, couldn't schedule until between 1 & 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30th. Vendor returned on Wednesday and stated an order needed to be submitted for a part. Called on September 6 at vendor suggestion and found authorization was approved but not sent to vendor. On lengthy hold with Old republic to get anyone to ok the authorization to vendor and then was disconnected. It's has been extremely hot here, and thankfully, our downstairs unit is working. We are expecting more company the beginning of October and hope this is resolved. We're very unhappy with the "service" - this is the second and last time we have used Old Republic and will be asking for a refund.
