The employees are rude. The technicians that they dispatch to service rarely call and follow through. ORHP is unwilling to speak to you. They have every online option available but it is evident based on their recordings that they want you to pay their fee and take the journey on your own. Every option you press in an option to handle the business yourself even though they start with , so that it's easier for you. Truly bogus. The most recent technician came after 10 days of me trying to call them. Sat in my floor and youtubed this issue. This company should read their own website and values. There is no checkpoint or standards that they are held too. I wish we could all hide behind the internet the way they do.

OHRP has NEVER called me back regarding everything! It takes at least 1-2 hours to get anyone (A real person) to even answer your call! Then they tell you theyll look into it and call you back and they never call you back! Extremely frustrated!Old Republic Home Protection

Warranty does not cover anything. Better luck using ******* to perform my own repairs. I wish the company I purchased my home used another warranty company. Waste of time and money.Old Republic Home Protection

iIve been patiently waiting since My14th 2022 and my icemaker is still leaking water. service provider came out and looked at problem and stated He was not qualified to repair. Wait another month till I had to call, which by the way took an hour of being on hold before someone helps you. Company sent another contractor out who used a steamer to defrost my ice machine and said to call Him to let Him know what machine is doing. Multiple calls and no call back whatso ever. phoned ORHP once again another hour on hold only to get disconnected. Called again and explained my issue. Now they are sending another contractor (3rd) after a week or so comes out looks at machine and says He knows whats wrong with machine and has to get Authorization to order parts. Three weeks later now He states He has parts. I get an email from ORHP saying job is complete. *** never showed up. I stayed at home the whole day and waited for Him Call company once again, on hold another hour only to get disconnected once again. Recall company to tell them contractor did not complete work, doesn't answer calls or call back, they call him and He states He will call me for appt. made another appt time for today, and once again I waited all day and no show, no call back, nothing. How long must this go on. Wh'os gonna make this right. Is this how this company operates? I will follow up with my realtor (friend) and make sure She does not recommend this company to anyone in the future A company is only as good as its weakest links ......understaffed administration and unprofessional service contractorsOld Republic Home Protection

Horrible!!!! I've been waiting 5 weeks for a garage door spring. This is unacceptable!! The Protection Plan cost over $800. This is the first time I've needed a repair. They marked on their website job complete. I had my realtor call them because they make it impossible for anyone to talk to a person. Now five weeks later, I'm starting the whole process over. Trying to get something fixed took 4 weeks to finally get a technician to fix my air conditioning.Waited 2 hours on the phone to explain my situation.After they sent 3 technicians all were horrible one wanted to replace the unit. The other one couldnt come out till ten days .Then one showed up after 11 day window .Got a service call they never got back to me or old republic for an estimate.Every time you have a problem with their in network contractor you have to call to get it transferred.I did find one great company but they wont approve them .Had an emergency I had to get someone out to fix my air conditioning was 105 on a Saturday.Costs me 800 dollars because they said I dint get it approved.In an emergency your screwed you cant get ahold of anyone because their shut down on weekends.So either wait or just get it fixed supposed to be covered up to 750 dollars.If you have the coverage then they are supposed to reimburse you .Over 750 you need to get it authorized .After my contract is expires Ill be getting another home warranty company.Dont use this company takes forever to try to get anything fixed .Old Republic Home Protection

I'm a new home owner and this has been the worst experience of my life. I live in ** and my ** broke during Aug. I was without ** for 3 months due to Old Republic. If you are reading this, please learn from me and save your money. I thought I was making a smart move and being proactive with pursuing this warranty, such a Bad decision. Companies that do this to people should be punish and shut down. My wait times were hours and once I did speak with someone they were Always steps behind. I was Always waiting on someone to take a step forward or change a problem. Once I got the ** repair company out here they wanted to charge 2k for a cleaning which is so incorrect and I got other professional opinions. Each visit was $100,even to tell me the same thing. I even gave Old Republic a second chance before I canceled and Still it was long wait times and **** informed between the company they chose and Old Republic. I cried and was so angry during this entire experience, what they got away with is a crime and they should be punished for treating people this way.Old Republic Home Protection

I have been on the phone for over an hour and a half now waiting to speak to a supervisor about a company they sent to my home to do do some work. The problem is the worker came and did not immediately identify himself. I had to read his name on his shirt before allowing him to enter my home. Further he was rude and would not do what I asked him to do. He told me to read the manual when I asked him about setting the thermostat for air and heating. He merely told me that my heater and air as working. Well I knew that before he came. He never checked any of the vents or filters in the home and never checked any of the bedrooms or other locations where vents and filters are located in my house. He said I don't do that. The is a scam. Old Republic Home Protection is OLD, unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to customers by contracting with FOOLS. They need to know who they are sending to customer's home and the quality of their work and business. I called the company they sent and they refused to let me speak to management. I asked the company (L.A. HVC) representation to leave my house and he hollered at me. I refuse to pay for this lack of service and totally disrespect!!!!! I rated this company 1 only because someone came to my house at all. I will not renew the policy, and NO one else should either if they expect professionalism.Old Republic Home Protection

Absolute Trash! The technician showed up within the last 5 minutes of the 4 hour window for starters. This was for a plumbing repair, and because the leak was not actively leaking when the technician showed up, he said that he could not proceed until he got authorization from a supervisor. He didn't even bother to get on a ladder and put his hand on the clearly visible water stain, or do any other troubleshooting. Its like he did not have any interest in where the leak was coming from.Old Republic Home Protection
