After 25+ years of being a AAA member they have treated me with indiference, they have no empathy and failed to recognize their mistakes. The burden of proof is on the consumer's shoulders. This is my story. On Thursday, January 26 around 2:30 PM, I visited the office in *********************************************************** and dropped two envelopes in the mailbox that it is inside the branch. The 1st envelope contained a check for $177.00 to renew my membership. The 2nd check for $1083.00 was to paid my car insurance. Since I personally took the envelopes and deposited them in their mailbox, I didn't have any concerns or thought about having any issues, until February 16, 2023. This day, I received a letter from AAA dated 02/07/2023. In this letter I was informed that AAA had not received my renewal payment. This notification got me extremely concerned, so I proceeded to verify my account and I saw that the checks had cleared on 02/09/2023. When i called everybody said "I'm sorry" "I understand" but nobody took the time or the initiative to contact the Montrose Branch and find out what had happen. After speaking to a couple different associates, I thought the issue had been resolved but I was wrong, Today I received a phone call from **** a Sales Rep. from AAA to let me know that my membership had expire. Seriously!!!! you have no idea how upset, frustrated and powerless I felt, but who cares... right? As long as they get their money, no one will call to apologized and accept that one of AAA's employees failed to process my payment appropriately. Oh, please, don't tell me that, a check takes to weeks to clear but, even if that was the case, the people at the Montrose Branch should've registered my payments as of January 26, 2023, because that is the day, I deposited the checks in AAA mailbox. Now I have to provide to them copies of the cancelled checks instead of them doing their research. They most likely credit someone else with my money. AAA has terrible *******************

AAA cancelled my policy for non payment. I quit paying because they kept getting my information confused with another person that lived at my address. I did not reinstate and cancelled my policy. Later they decided to bill me for a renewal on the policy that of course I had cancelled. They continue to report this debt as seriously delinquent on my credit even though I cancelled the policy and did not renew it. I will not pay you a dime for a service I did not want, i cancelled and you did not provide! It is unfair to a disabled person to do this...

I have been a member with AAA for over 15 years now and this has been the most complicated situation that I have encountered with them. I was in a car accident back around the end of October, it wasn't my fault. When this first happened they set up me with a rental but the representative there didn't tell me that I only had 30 days of coverage, the 30 days come up and I still have the rental and I get a car from the rental company informing me that I'm 5 days overdue with returning the car. I had to return the car and also pay out of pocket. My claims adjustor was telling me that it was my fault and I should have known and that they couldn't help with to reimburse me for the extra days that I had the rental for. I had to put up a fight and let them know that I didn't get a call from anyone until 5 days later and that was from the rental company. After weeks of looking into it they finally realized that it was their fault for not notifying me or the rental company in regards to the length of the rental. So my adjustor informed that they'll be able to send the invoice to the other insurance to ask for reimbursement. So now my car is still in the shop and I don't have the means to pay for a rental out of pocket. My representative says that there's nothing they can do on their end but to wait and hear back from the other insurance in regards to providing me a rental for the time being and asking if they're also be able to pay for loss of coverage. The other insurance finally reached out around the end of January to inform that there's a no limit rental that I'll be able to use until my car is done but now they are telling me that I need to return that return or pay out of pocket because they're no longer covering the rental. Mind you my car is still in the shop due to a backorder on the airbags. I'm still ******* and there's nothing AAA will do to help me but tell me to call my cars manufacture to see if they can speed up the process.

Their tow truck driver (******* Towing) damaged my car. The mechanic said that it was going to take over **** to fix it. ******* Towing (a AAA vendor) refused to cover the damages. AAA member services said all the damages were pre-existing and they offered me 500. I filed and insurance claim with AAA (who is also my car insurance company) and they agreed with the mechanic and authorized **** in damages to fix my car. I was beyond furious. It had taken AAA a month and a half to offer me five hundred dollars when I had close to THREE THOUSAND in damages. I called up AAA who is also my insurance company and filed a claim. The adjuster AGREED with the estimate and my insurance covered $**** in damages minus the 250 deductible that I was still being held responsible for!The way AAA handled this situation and dealt with a long-time member is beyond shameful. They are a huge company who obviously has shown through their actions that they do not care about the little guy even if that person has been a loyal member for over 10 years. The other day I called for a tow and despite me repeatedly stating that I do not want to ever use ******* Towing and to notate it on my profile I got assigned ******* Towing. I called back and was on hold for over an hour before I could talk to someone. I was told at that time that they do not have any other tow trucks and if I do not use ******* Towing they could not help me and I would need to contact another tow truck company and would have to pay out of my own pocket. I pay a lot of money for my membership and now it seems that AAA cannot even provide the service that I pay for.

I had a broken down vehicle on 01/26/2023. I called for a tow truck driver and they said it would be there same day a few hours. Waited all day and no driver showed up. Called AAA and dispatcher and excuse was one truck in use. They had me rescheduled for 01/27/2023 at 8 am. No truck again. Excuse was my order went off the board then was put back in. And yup only one truck. I missed a day of work and also to apply for a new job. Car needed repairs and was unable to complete. Dispatch was absolutely rude and did not work fast of professionally.

I have been a member for ******************************************** ***********. At 6:18am I called for a tow truck to tow my car. I was told it would be 45 minutes. At 6:40am I recieved a text that the truck would arrive at 7:29am. Shortly after 7:29 I recieved a text that the truck would arrive at 5:15pm. REALLY!!! 11 hours for a tow truck in the ********************. I responded that is not acceptable. The next text said they could be there at 4:07pm. My response was "an 8 hour wait in a questionable area was not acceptable". I called the roadside assistance line several times, told the agent I was in an area I did not feel safe in. I was told twice a driver would be there within 30 minutes. He didnt arrive until 12:15 pm. That was a 6 hour wait in a big city. This is totally unacceptable.

I've been a AAA customer for over 10 years and am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. Another AAA insured driver rear-ended me on 12/12/22 while I was at a full stop and my AAA adjuster told me that I might be held responsible. WTF?! Additionally, it has been over 4 weeks and I am still in limbo with the uncertainty of $1,000 deductible (and possible point on my record) and my adjuster will not return my calls or emails - apparently she has been on vacation for over 2 weeks. Glad she's relaxing while I'm freaking out.... I will be dropping them immediately if this does not end well. Don't waste your time with AAA, they have seriously gone downhill.Sincerely,Your once loyal customer

After 12 years with AAA they dropped my homeowner's coverage without telling me. AAA claimed they had not received payment from the mortgage company which they had and was proven when AAA sent me a refund for the amount they claimed they weren't paid. AAA did not even try to contact me. Customer service is awful!

50-year Customer left stranded in *********** **, at impound yard after calling for tow home.I was stranded on 10/30/2022 after running out of gas with a dead cell phone. I had no way of calling anyone and had to walk home [18 miles] due to no ability to call anyone due to the dead cell phone. I finally wore down and took the chance and waved someone down to drive me the last half of my journey home. The vehicle - a **** ***** Tahoe - was left in the driveway of a local hotel where it ran out of gas. The vehicle was impounded at approximately 6:30am on 10/31/2022. I called a family member to come help drive me to recover the vehicle. On 11/01/2022 family drove me to the sheriff to get a release to get the truck out of impound and we arrived at the tow yard at approximately 11:00am. Because the registration on the vehicle was incomplete the only way, we could legally move the vehicle was by towing it home or acquiring a 1-day permit from *** to drive the vehicle home. I called for a tow at approximately 11:30 am and AAA put the call on hold until the vehicle was removed from the storage area and was available. I called back at 12:00 and the call was dispatched for a tow and free gas. Eventually a small truck showed up with gas and it was obvious this vehicle could not tow our truck. Attempts to call back for the next two hours left me on hold for 45 minutes plus several other calls on hold for 15 minutes each without anyone ever answering the phone. We were forced to go to the *** to get the 1-day pass to drive the truck home which took about two hours to complete. We would face another day of impound charges if we stayed past 5pm. We had to get a gas can, gas, funnel and fuel the vehicle on location instead of getting a tow home. The idea that I was left stranded on hold without anyone answering for 45 minutes and multiple ***** minutes hold times then forced to give up is unacceptable. Never before have I experienced such a lack of service when most needed.

Extremely dissatisfied. After 15 yrs of membership, I cancelled my membership with AAA. 9/2022, my son called for locked door in his 2012 hatchback vehicle. On one of the hottest day of the heat wave, Tow truck came already wanting to leave, tried to unlock driver side but ended up breaking, I think the spring inside the door panel. He never attempted to try to open the passenger side door. At this time my son asked what now? Jokingly, break the glass? He went to the truck to grab the metal bar and handed it to my son. So now I have broken door and window. The tow truck driver never even attempted to open the other passenger door or the hatch back. I keep AAA so I have peace of mind that when assistant is needed we can call on AAA. I called the member service and spoke to a manager to ask what the protocol when incident like this happens. He said try other doors, call another tow truck or call lock ***** or even tow the car. Which non was even suggested. I put a claim but was denied. I'm truly very frustrated with AAA. I understand maybe they are not 100% liable but take some responsibility. Extremely dissatisfied. I dont even want to give them that 1 star. We look on to AAA as the professional in this field. It would have been nice to shown some professionalism. ??
