Terrible ******************* They left my daughter stranded for 5 hours after they committed a time and then still did not show up in the same day. Lied and said the driver was there while she was still waiting in the vehicle.... in a bad area in LA 5 hours after they said they would be there and send up regular updates... all lies and they admitted later that no driver showed up... The people running this scam company should go to jail--- really really really bad...

I have been with AAA Southern Ca. for 50 years. Not any more. Their response time for roadside assist is now ridiculous, taking 3 to 5 hours to pick my car up from the side of the freeway. They estimate 90 minutes to 2.5 hours the first report, then change it by 1 to 2 hours, and then dont show for even longer. One truck finally arrived after 4 hrs, and then just moved me .5 miles and dropped the car just off the freeway, to go get another car before returning 45 minutes later. I tried using the online features with no results at all. I used to like AAA, but they have slid backwards to being worse than no help. I am quitting AAA to find ANY other roadside company that might be better.

Had to call AAA first time, my child and I , could not get the car started, called them, was redirected to finish the info on my phone, did that, that was at 4:30, nice gentleman came out in 30 minutes, was testing my car at that time said he could not fix it, he then forwards my info to now needing a tow, ok. He said that I should be getting a call soon and proceeds to leave. Ok. Didn't receive a call. I tried calling and again I am redirected to online assistance and it shows I am still waiting for tow truck. It is now 8 at night, at that time I had a friend pick us up. Got home 8:30. I get a call finally, told them I had to get home. Unacceptable!!!!!! I am stranded with my child in the dark. No call until almost 4 hours later. Not ok!

Worst car insurance experience ever. When you first call for a quote they do there best to lock you in and sweet talk you. Once your a member and need help with adding another vehicle or any modification to the policy you will get taken advantage of and they are extremely rude. I wanted to add two vehicles to my plan and the prices were twice as much as other companies. I would have not known this until they upset me by having very rude people ignore my calls after getting the quotes emailed. One rep emailed me back and said call someone else. My original rep that started my plan never returned my calls when I left messages to add new vehicles to the plan. After dealing with a few more rude agents I called and got USAA for $200 cheaper monthly for the same coverage. I canceled AAA they were happy to take my monthly premium that I already paid with 2 days of use and kept that. Then they had the nerve to send a bill for having coverage after my new company policy already started. I called to ask about this interinsurance duplicate coverage bill they sent. Once again all my calls were ignored by the selling agent and there manager *****************************. The billing **** number was very happy to take my calls then lie to me. They said it was a early cancelation fee. That is not what the bill said, it was for duplicate coverage that wasn't even true. Driving two brand new vehicles I made sure to have the other company policy in effect. AAA says non profit!? No way this is possible with how cut throat they are and very rude. Sales people are commissioned and they lied to get there last bit of money when I canceled. I have a great driving record and haven't made any claims I just auto pat my bills to AAA. I found out how bad of a company they are by purchasing two new vehicles and calling in for coverage. Please please stay away from this horrible company I could only imagine how bad they would be if I ever had a accident and needed real help.

The worst experience ever with an insurance company and I don't even have a claim just paying and dealing with adding and removing coverage. Not only do they over charge per vehicle, they make it virtually impossible to remove a car from the insured ones. As they recalculated their premiums and acutely costs more to remove a car then keeping it. We didn't even buy a car to replace just wanted to remove one**** They also do not show payments made by my Chase account even though they cashed my check weeks ago.AAA insurance is the worst ever**** this is without a claim too imagine what I have to go thru if I did. AAA *****.

Leaving a 16 yo child stranded on the road by themselves for 4 hours waiting for a tow in 110 degree temps is unacceptable ! This company has lost all my trust and my business. Im so angry at their lack of service. Do not ever use them for anything.

One of the best decisions I ever made was getting rid of AAA's awful insurance. My family has been AAA members for over 47 years, and we've all decided to leave. After AAA's horrible treatment of me following a car accident, refusing to provide coverage for a vehicle that I provided proof that they insured, they left me out to dry. And don't even get me started on the roadside assistance. They usually take anywhere between 2 to 5 hours to arrive, and the drivers are often in a rush, incredibly rude, or both.To sum it all up, you're wasting your money by going with AAA. They are exponentially more expensive than most other insurance companies, but they provide the absolute worst degree of customer service. If you have another ********************** company, get rid of AAA's roadside assistance too, as most other insurance companies will provide roadside assistance included in your policy.

******************** - serving ******** and ******* - is EXCELLENT. My car overheated going to ******** and AAA saved me. They located me on the back roads then towed me to a great mechanic who did major repairs to my old but beloved car. When the repairs were completed *** towed my car down the hill to Enterprise Rent-A-Car where I easily picked it up and drove home. Ill be 80 this year and AAA made what would have been an ordeal, into a easy breezy happening. Thank you AAA!! ***********************

This is the second time AAA has left me stranded. They never sent anyone to help. As an elderly senior handicapped female I find this unexceptional on any level. I was left in an unsafe area of downtown ************** after accidently locking keys in my vehicle. I had to break my window after waiting several hours. To retrieve my keys so I could get home. Here we are 14 hours later and still no response from them. I will be seeking a full refund for my membership and also the ones I purchased for family members. Do not purchase their roadside assistance they will leave you stranded.
