In April I ordered a cup from carryhitch.com. I didn't know that this was a pre-order because it had an estimated delivery window. After about 3 weeks I emailed them to get a status update. I was told this was a pre-order and would arrive in late June or early July. Then on May 30th they send an email saying it will be 60-90 days. On July 14th I requested a refund and got no response. Then on July 18th I get another email saying it'll be 60-90 days before the product ships. I responded on July 24th requesting a refund again. After reading about so many similar situations and hearing that others have been waiting for over 2 years, I have no faith that I'll ever receive the product and I'd like my money refunded.Initial Complaint

I ordered a bottle 7/17/24. The slate bottle did not say "pre order," "sold out," or "back order." Their site claims bottles will be shipped 2-3 business days. I have not gotten any ship estimates, this was for a birthday and will not arrive in time. I submitted a request to cancel but have not received a response. The site states they allow cancellation if the item hasn't shipped. Please reimburse the full amount of $62.62 I am not buying something that might arrive in 2 years. Purchased a water bottle for a friend as a gift with the understanding it would ship in the next drop which was to be 5/31. I had yet to receive and email with my tracking number and reached out to customer service on 5/24 for an ETA on shipping at which time I was referred to the FAQ section of their website which did not have any answers. I was about to reach out to customer service again for assistance the following week however I received an email on 5/29 stating there is a delay of an additional 60-90 days. I requested my order be canceled on 6/10 because I would not receive the product in time for my friends birthday on 7/6 and did not hear back. I have since sent 3 additional emails since the request for cancelation and have not received a response. I just want my money back.Business Response

I would like to point out, I did not send 1 email, I in fact sent 5 emails to [email protected], which is the email address I received the response to my initial email and the email directed to on the website FAQ for support, and did not receive a reply to any of the 4 subsequent emails requesting a refund.

I ordered 2 hitch bottles and a carrying handle online at Carryhitch.com on 2/11/24 and was told that this was a "preorder" that was set to ship/be in stock 3/15/24. Well the website states the "drop" restock happened on 3/15/24 but I received an email stating my order was delayed until April 2024. Then I received another email in April stating it was delayed again due to supply chain issues. But I keep getting emails and text messages to order again. And the website states next "drop" is happening on 6/30/24 but I don't have my March drop product. Trustpilot.com shows multiple reports of this issue with other consumers as well. I tried contacting the company but just got a immediate generic email back stating to check on status of my order which doesn't give you any information on your actual order or give you the ability to cancel your preorder. I've emailed the company again and this time recieved no response. SO I'm filing complaint on trust pilot and BBB to see if this gets them off their butts to send me my order. Feb. 18: I pre-ordered 3 of the bottle&cups and a bottle brush on carryhitch.com. I immediately had a question and emailed to ask them why I was charged more than the listed bundle price.
Feb. 19: Customer service responded and issued a refund for what I had overpaid.
Mar. 14: I received a notification saying that the pre-order will be delayed for 10-15 days.
April 4: It was 21 days after the delay notification, and I still did not receive the order. I emailed them asking for an update. They sent a list FAQ as a response.
April 6: I emailed again.
April 8: Customer Service replied that they had a delay in the bottle brushes. They said that if I'd like to remove the brush they could ship my order right away. I emailed to ask if I would receive a refund provided that I had the brush removed from my order.
April 10: Customer Service said that I would receive a refund. I then said please remove the brush, issue the refund, and ship the bottle-and-cups right away.
April 12: They updated my order and issued a refund for the brush.
April 22: Another 10 days went by and I still did not receive anything, not even a shipping notification. I emailed again to ask about the status of my order. They sent the same list of FAQ as a response. I responded to the FAQ to say I still needed assistance, adding that I was about to move and worried that the shipment wouldn't reach me before I move.
April 24: Still no response. I emailed again to say that, given it was unlikely the shipment would arrive in time, I would like to cancel my order.
May 1: Another week went by and still no response. I emailed again, asking them to cancel my order and issue me a refund. I added that I would write about all these delays and non-responsiveness on social media, and I would seek to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
May 4: I emailed to demand a refund again.
May 14: Still no response.
They were responsive at first and now not at all. I feel scammed.Business Response

I purchased 2 pre order items and 3 items labeled "in stock" on 11/15/2023 to which I did not receive any information about a shipping date, even for the in stock items. I inquired 12/6/23 for an update as this was a holiday gift and received a response on 12/9/23 saying that it would start shipping in 45 days and I could download a card for the recipient. I also emailed customer service again on 1/29/24 and received no response in within their 72 hour time frame. I emailed AGAIN on 2/5/24 and received an email on 2/7/24 stating that the "rainstorms are causing a delay and that they sent out an update on shipping". The "update" was the same auto email I have received before saying 45 days. So this company is blatantly lying to customers.
The company does not offer any updates willingly, you have to email constantly and they still have no idea. I just want what I paid for almost 100 days ago.Business Response

I paid $136.00 for 2 water bottles, handles, and tops. I was given a reasonable delivery time. A few days later I received an email that it would be an additonal 35-40 days until delivery. While dissapointing that is understandable as it was a preorder. However, I recieved ANOTHER email telling me it would be an additional 30-45 days for delivery. Now bringing the delivery time to 60-90 days. I emailed and tried to contact the company and all I received in kind was an unhelpful automated email. If I were to wait the full time for delivery it would be past the time to dispute my claim with my bank. I have also done further research and have yet to find an actual person who is not an "influencer" or getting some sort of kickback for a review who has received their merchandise.
