      Absolutely awful experience. **************** is almost completely nonexistent. If you have any issues halfway through your treatment, the allowable time period for you to dispute. The charge with your credit card company will have passed. They do not respond to anything. They are completely unhelpful and predatory. I am absolutely baffled as to how they have an A+ BBB rating.

      I started treatment with "Byte," fully disclosing my dental history and existing prosthetics. I am currently still in the middle of my treatment and actively making payments. Recently, I encountered significant issues with my aligners and submitted a support ticket, only to receive an email from Byte indicating that my treatment would be terminated due to their acknowledgment of not providing quality ********, I am trying to follow up with Byte support, but they refuse to speak with me unless I sign a form acknowledging their Field Safety Corrective Action. I absolutely refuse to sign any additional documents because I have lost all trust in this company. Furthermore, they claim they cannot assist me or provide any guidance about whether I will receive a refund until this form is signed. I believe I am not only entitled to a full refund but also to compensation to seek the services of a licensed orthodontist or dentist who can properly evaluate and address any damage caused by Byte's inadequate care. I was misled into thinking my treatment would be monitored closely by a licensed professional, but that has clearly not been the case. This entire experience has left me feeling frustrated, betrayed, and in need of immediate assistance. I urge others to think twice before committing to Byte, as it has become clear that their priority is not their patients' well-being.

      I am rejecting this response because I was told I would be issued a refund, but the 30-day processing timeline seems questionable and unconvincing. Despite following up with Byte, I have received no clear updates on the status of the refund, and the lack of progress is concerning. Additionally, I am still obligated to make payments to the lender for treatment I am no longer receiving, as they have no record of any refund being initiated or pending for my account.

      Byte indicated it would be approximately 3 months of treatment and so I signed up for $3100 of treatment to be paid across two years. It has been nearly two years later and I am still working on treatment; they had to send me a new impression kit and new set of aligners approximately 3 months into treatment. Now that I am nearing end of treatment, Byte has indicated via a "Field Safety Corrective Action" that I should have never worked with them in the first place because I've had periodontitis from the beginning. They said I need to immediately discontinue use and contact a dentist. They are supposed to have dentists associated with my treatment, so why I need to go to my dentist to fix their mistake is frustrating. Additionally, I paid for extras such as retainers which now I will never receive. I am seeking a refund on the treatment portions I will no longer receive but had signed up for, as well as damages for giving me a treatment I should have never received according to their own emails. I am beyond livid with the quality of their service and support.

      Bytes customer service is the absolute worst Ive ever experienced. They still owe me a retainer that was included in my fee, but I simply gave up because the customer service is so incredibly infuriating. It honestly feels like some of the frustration is intentional. They wear you down so you just walk away after they collect their money. Truly shameful.

      This business is a complete scam. They told me that my warranty had been voided, even though I followed their directions. They told me to keep going back to previous aligners because my teeth weren't moving fast enough. By the time I was in the last set of the aligners, I noticed there was a problem where the top aligner sat back too far on one tooth, so it didn't push that tooth forward. When I asked for a correction, they said that my guarantee was voided because it took longer than the anticipated 4 months. In fact, it took about 2 years for me to get to the last set of aligners because my teeth weren't moving quickly. Since my warranty was voided, I asked for my retainers. They sent me an impression kit (which I took the time to complete and mail back to them), but rather than making me an impression of my current crooked teeth, they gave me the exact same copy of my last set of aligners. The retainers have the exact same errors as the last set of aligners, so they don't properly fit my teeth. There's nothing in the guarantee information about voiding the warranty for taking too long. In fact, it says that you will stay in warranty if you follow their directions. I also paid for retainers, but I didn't receive retainers that property fit the current state of my teeth. Basically, I paid thousands of dollars into a scam using my HSA.

      Byte has been the worst nightmare and scam. I paid in full for 6 month NIGHTTIME treatment to simply move one top tooth and one bottom tooth that were overlapping slightly. After completing the treatment and doing every single thing they advised me to do, I notified them with pictures (each month of my treatment) that my teeth were still not moving into place. They asked me to move back step 6 out of 15 and repeat treatment using each step for one week. I did this. Then they asked me to repeat again but for two weeks each time. I did this. Teeth still not moving into place. I notified them and they said, it was under review and would advise next steps. Then the next day I got an email saying I violated my contract for free retainers that you wear AFTER your teeth are in place because my treatment was taking too long! I sent them all my emails and they rescinded this VIOLATION. Sent me new impression kits. After one month, I asked for an update, they said, your impressions were no good, we need more. I just sent them back this week and then get an email saying they are stopping production. They have failed to give me the proper treatment and now my teeth are not only not where they promised me, my bite is now off and I cannot completely close my mouth.

      I went about my treatment just fine until they sent me my retainers at the end. The retainers have caused me weeks of TMJ pain and discomfort. I reached out to to them about it as soon as I got the retainers, they just got back to me and said they can't help me because they have basically shut down services due to their "urgent field safety notification" with the ***. If they cannot provide the services I paid them for, they should give me a refund. I can't close my jaw anymore thanks to them. Don't use this company, use a real orthodontist.

      I'd give Byte 0 stars if I could. Signed up for the nightly retainers for a 17 step treatment, 3 years later and they still keep giving me the run-around of "try it for a few more weeks". I've received 6 new packs of aligners and they never track properly. Absolutely fraudulent company. And now we learn that they are stopping sales and marketing due to *** concerns. There should be a class action against these frauds.

      Brought aligners, only received up to 70% of them. Tried to contact multiple times to receive the remainder, no response or continue to receive the same response from different people. Would NOT recommend. Once they receive their payment , they do not care if you receive all of your aligners.

      I am not happy with Byte right now. I signed up and paid ***** on a credit card back in July 2024. Since then, I have had to send them 9 Impression molds back because they said the couldn't get the right mold. Here we are today and now they want me to go to a dentist to get cleared that Aligners are okay for me. Also, they are on a consumer pause which means you cannot get a hold of a human. I have asked for a refund twice now because they cannot help me. They have dragged this out so long and now I am concerned I'll never receive the product or my money back. When I signed up it was my understanding, in writing, that if they couldn't help me they would give me a full refund. Well, it's November and I have been playing this game with them since July. Anyone have legal counsel I can talk to about this? I am upset and regret getting aligners through the mail.
