Zip recruiter is a scam I applied to a job with diamond tank rentals they offered me the job and then wanted me to give them my bank account information to deposit a check for $4850 and to take my weekly pay out and send them the rest I can't believe this company is involved in this type of scam

***** (sales) hounded me for months knowing we were in desperate need for employees. He promised more than 200 applicants were available for me. As a small business, $1700 was a lot of money we didn't have to throw away. As soon as I agreed, I was thrown to accounts person *******. Who told me ***** set me up wrong but refused to make it right unless I paid a total of *****. I declined. There wad no help. No one cared. I even wrote my own employment ad. All I got were outdated resumes, and unqualified people. This business is so shady. It's the old "bait and switch". They refused to refund my money. Don't trust them don't believe them! They're full of s*** until they get your money and then they go silent. Scammers! Cons! Unethical! There aren't enough bad words for this business.

Horrible, HORRIBLE misleading company. It is unfathomable the rating they have. My experience was the same with numerous others here. Didn't get any hirings, charged me $500.00 for three weeks without any communication they were doing so. Received only 3 matching candidates that were all out of state so basically didn't have ANY applicants I could hire. Absolute scam. Take heed! DO NOT use this company!

BBB, how is it possible that Zip can still have an A rating when the complaints outweigh the positive reviews 3:1??!! I have written to ZipRecruiter 30+ times re: a scam they have posted every day for a year? They initially indicated they confirmed my suspicions and indicated theyd remove, but never have. They will tell you to address any concerns to a Trust email, but then generate the same auto response to send the scam posting to that same email in response to you doing exactly that. They dont care that our inboxes daily have scam postings; I assume the Scammers money to use their platform is more important than their credibility.

21 days we advertised for a HVAC Technician and only got 3 candidates that matched the requirements of the job. Each of these candidates either already had a job or did not respond. We were charged $525 for 3 candidates for 21 days. RIP OFF!!! Will NEVER recommend Ziprecruiter to anyone. When we complained to the company they just sent an email stating we spoke to someone in the company which was a lie and they were not going to make this right. People think employers are made of money, we are a small business just trying to survive, this is crazy. We put an ad on ********** for $20 per month and got 45 applicants, and have hired 2 of them. Your company is nothing but a RIP recruiter!

Very deceiving of a free trial. 1200$ later and I received 3 resumes that were considered a great match 1 of the 3 matched the criteria. I asked to not be charged anymore and had deleted my job post. That very same day I was charged $224 which I did get refunded. I will not use the services again. As others have said, incredibly deceptive service with little to no outcome.

The business has neglected to refund JUSTIFIED invoices. Despite providing proof in documentation, despite instructions from the bank involved, they still refuse to help and provide customer with appropriate refunds. Even with having proof to the statements in their contract and can verify what their contract states is needed-despite having done all that as a customer they still will not refund. The support team (and multiple people in the support team) used these words numerous times "there is nothing we can to to help you". So than why do you work in and why is their a customer service team?

We are a company that were trying to use ZipRecruiter to find employees just like other companies. However, one day when we were trying to log into our account, we were unable to log in. Upon calling the support team, we were notified that they have decided to close our account without notification due to being unable to verify the information that they need. However, they stated they were unable to tell us the specific reasons on the information that they lacked from us. We attempted to escalate the matter and asked how we can verify that we are a legitimate company looking for employers, however, they stated that they have closed down our account and that was the final decision.
