      I think the company is a sham. I have been paying for 6 years extra $$ money on my utility bill and didn't realize it until yesterday

      Was completely mislead by the sales **** The *** pitched the "product" as a rate for clean renewable sourced energy. In reality, it's an additional "clean energy fee" that is added onto the normal utility rates. In our case, our utility cost almost tripled. Then when I called to opt out, I was told it would take 1-2 billing cycles before they were able to process the transfer back to my regular utility company. Absolutely terrible, please avoid at all costs.

      These ***** are lieeeeee. They have costed me a god damn fortune. Lied out there ass from the get go and ive been paying way more for electricity because of them. Someone needs to investigate them asap

      Terrible company with "bait and switch" tactics. Initial Energy cost was reasonable at 9 cents per *** initially, then hiked to 17 cents per *** a year later, without notice.I was solicited by a salesperson at BJ's wholesale club in March of 2023, and was told to return in March of 2024 to BJs to maintain my lower rate. However, there were no Inspire Energy representatives at BJ's wholesale club when I returned in March of 2024.I called both Inspire energy, and National Grid (my original carrier) in July 2024 to complain about Inspire's price hike and to discontinue my contract with them - I had to speak with a representative from a foreign country that I could barely understand who assured me my contract was cancelled, then I reinstate my electric supply from National Grid. My electric bill in June/July was $554, and they did not adjust the *** rate this month, and my current bill is $435. If I could give them a "0" star score, I would.

      We were approached by one of these people at *** and were told they could save us money on our electric bill. Turns out we were being charged triple what the going rate was from the electric company stay away from these people theyre dishonest. I dont understand how they can run a business where theyre ripping people off left and right.

      My father is also a victim of this company. False advertisement and monthly bills are three times higher went from a $130 bill to $400+ a month. He requested a cancelation last year after a presure sale at his front door. They said 2 billing cycles. They took advantage of an elderly man. They are still charging a year later. There is nothing clean about this company and they are violating UDAP laws. Based on my father's experience and a clear picture of all these complaints. I will be researching how to do a class action lawsuit on this company.

      I was approached by a salesman at BJ's Wholesale who said that my electric bill would be going down if I switched to Inspire. He also said I would be receiving a credit with BJ's and the amount would be based on how much I would have saved if I were using Inspire for the whole time I was with National Grid. It was a high pressure sale but I was told that I would receive an email shortly confirming what took place and I could cancel if I changed my mind. I never received an email with the option to cancel or a BJ's credit. My bill has gone up $100 on average since I switched. I emailed the company and was told that they would cancel my account but it may take up to two billing cycles. It has been two cycles and it hasn't been cancelled to this point. I'm hoping it is resolved soon. I have no idea how the BBB could give this company an A+ rating.

      Tomorrow morning I will be calling the ** State ************************* & then I'll be calling Inspire to see if their attorneys are available and ready to be sued by yet another person they've scammed.How incredibly unethical to be adding $179 to my electric account every month and failing to meet your promises.If I could give this company zero stars, I would.

      You attached yourself to MY electric account without MY authority and took over $2000 out of my electric account. I want my refund. put it all back .

      Same here! They promised me a fixed rate for one year but only gave it til the end of that year which was two months later. After that my bill jumped up over 400$ a month for a two bedroom apartment. When I called them they offered me a check as a sort of hush payment so i wouldn't sue. I accepted but never did receive a penny and they just gave me the runaround. Worst business I've ever dealt with by far!
