    Title: Beware: Stripe's Unfair Practices Will Hurt Your Business As a small business owner, I've experienced firsthand the detrimental effects of using Stripe as a payment processor. Their decision to withhold 25% reserves for a 30-day rolling period is not just unreasonable but downright crippling for businesses like mine. Despite having a spotless record with no history of fraud or chargebacks, Stripe still sees fit to penalize us.Their arbitrary reserve policy lacks transparency and fairness, leaving businesses at the mercy of their unpredictable whims. Winning disputes shouldn't be the exception but the norm, yet even with a commendable track record, Stripe seems determined to punish rather than protect its clients.Furthermore, their customer support is disappointingly inadequate, offering little more than scripted responses and empty promises. When facing issues as serious as withheld funds, businesses need prompt and effective assistance, not robotic replies that provide no resolution.In conclusion, if you value the financial stability and growth of your business, steer clear of Stripe. Their unjust practices and lackluster support make them a liability rather than an asset. Explore alternative payment processors that prioritize fairness and reliability, because with Stripe, you're gambling with your livelihood.

    Absolutely terrible I can't believe this company customer service only thing worse are there fees on top of that they have held up over 3k for almost 3 weeks now iam contacting my lawyer tomorrow morning. I am in complete disbelief at this trash Absolutely worst experience I have ever had stay away. Don't waste your money your time and can not be trusted. You have been warned

    As many others mention, after sending payments to my checking account for years they suddenly decide they need to verify my account and freeze my payments. Sent a letter from my credit union with the requested information and they say 'that's not a bank!' Please resubmit, these people are either complete idiots or criminal masterminds! Avoid them if you can!

    I have had my account with Shopify for EIGHT YEARS! Stripe closed my account for no reason and is holding $1760. I cannot get an answer, I have reached out over 28 times and I have sent a letter via mail. I do not have any fraud on my account and have not had any chargebacks either. This is totally unfair for them to keep my money.

    STAY AWAY!!!I created an account with no issues, the account was open for several months before my first transaction.... After the first transaction, they wanted to hold my money because all of a sudden they "needed more info". I have been back and forth with them for a couple months now, they keep asking for the same info and my payment has been paused.THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!

    BEWARE - AVOID USING STRIPE!!!They are the absolute worst payment processing company I have ever dealt with.They will hold your money FOREVER without any solid explenation as to why and then hide behing a Philliepene Customer Support line that can't do anything to help you.Stripe has been a terrible experience from day one. I am literally still waiting on my money from my employer to be paid out via Stripe.WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY.

    Stay far, far away from Stripe ****************** unless you're eager to throw your hard-earned money into a black hole. This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with, and their incompetence knows no bounds.First and foremost, they have a knack for making mistakes, especially when it comes to processing credit card transactions. It's like they have a talent for misplacing funds and conveniently forgetting to notify you about it. I recently had to refund a cardholder due to a fraudulent charge, only to discover that Stripe never bothered to actually send the money back to the customer. And did they bother to inform me of this colossal screw-up? Of course not. They prefer to leave you in the dark while they play fast and loose with your finances.But wait, it gets better. When the inevitable dispute arose, guess who was left holding the bag? That's right, yours truly. Stripe was more than happy to slap me with dispute fees faster than you can say "scam." They'll eagerly take your money for their own incompetence but won't lift a finger to help you when things go south.Their customer service is a joke. Good luck trying to get a hold of someone who can actually assist you. It's like they're allergic to providing actual support to their paying customers. You're better off shouting into the void than expecting any sort of meaningful help from these charlatans.In conclusion, if you value your sanity and your bank account, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Stripe ******************. They're nothing but a bunch of thieves masquerading as a legitimate business. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your credit card processing needs

    I processed in excess of $10,000 in virtual card payment for speech services I rendered for ************************** Similar to others here, my funds were frozen for possible fraudulent activity on my end despite multiple pieces of evidence provided. They also closed my ability to process payments. It is now a year and the $ had not been refunded to any of the credit cards. Despite numerous attempts over the past year.
