    I wanted to share my recent experience with Stripe, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare for my international electronic parts business. I hope my story can serve as a cautionary tale for others.I've been using Stripe for payment processing, and everything was going smoothly until they suddenly halted my account after collecting $6.2k in payments from my customers. They requested my ID for verification, which I promptly provided. However, it didn't end there. They asked for my company paperwork and tax filings, and I complied with all their requests.To my shock, they decided to close my account completely and refunded the entire balance to my customers. This left me in a terrible situation I had already shipped the parts, and now I can't get a hold of my customers. The total loss to my business is 6.2k, and the impact is severe.I'm sharing this story to caution fellow business owners about the potential risks of using Stripe. It's crucial to be aware of the challenges one might face and consider alternative payment processors.If anyone has advice on how to handle this situation or recommendations for reliable payment processors, I'd greatly appreciate it.Stay safe and vigilant in your business dealings.

    Stripe processed one payment a month for my business for a government contract. After 5 months of processing my one credit card payment. I got an email stating my payout of $11k was paused. Nothing in my company had changed. We went back and forth a few weeks. I finally received an email that stated my payout would not go to me for reasons they could not go into detail to protect their process. In other words you will not your money because Stripe doesn't feel I should have it and they don't have to tell you why.

    Been using Stripe for 3 years for my business. Got 1 chargeback because a customer decided to dispute a payment he did and they took more money out than what he even paid me. Finally got it paid off and decided maybe it was a 1 time incident. Just reopened an account with them and first payment made by a customer was no problem. Second one they are holding ****** because they consider my company a high risk over 1 dispute that wasn't even my fault. This was materials deposit for a client so now I have to buy the materials until they close my account on the 19th per their choice and the only way I got notified of this was by email. I have made this company a lot of money over the last 3 years with only one dispute. Now they are saying every payment that comes in they are holding at 100% and will release once they close my account on the 19th. I am a paralegal too and I believe this is against the law as I have read other complaints on here where the same as happened. Wage garnishments even ordered by court systems and the *** don't even hold 100%. I think we all need to get together and file a class A lawsuit against this company. As far as my business goes there will not be a 3rd time. I am done with this company. I have a business to run and last time I checked they didn't own any ownership. Can't successfully run a business with this company.

    My account got closed on Aug 3rd 2023 for no reason saying that I am high risk. I had around $20,000 in stripe balance which got stuck. After multiple emails I was told that my funds will be released after 120 days. Today marks the end of 120 days and I am still not able to get my money. This is so wrong I even tried to email them but all i get is some random automated email back. Stripe is a scam company.

    So I just started a business and used stripe through an invoice app. Took my first payment and it finally went through. To stripes platform and from there it just stayed in there because they couldnt seem to verify anything. But I used anther invoice app with all the same info and was able to use their services trying to get a hold of them to resolve any issues has been unsuccessful. To say the least, not that it matters but I didnt have any funds to get this company going in the first place. But after 2 months of no results with help from their platform im throwing in the towel on owning a business. I thought it was supposed to be geared towards business owners of small businesses not taking from those who dont have anything to take from in the first place.

    I received an email that STRIPE has and will deduct $5 from my checking account each month as a donation to the Arthritis Foundation. I have never heard of STRIPE nor did I authorize this transaction. I can't even find them their website. Please help me.

    There needs to be a class action lawsuit towards stripe, inc. They will take your money at any giving moment without reasoning or made up fees. If you're smart stay far far far away from stripe. Their seriously the worse.

    Stripe recently held a $2000 customer payment that was made on September 22nd, 2023. This was my first invoice paid on the account. They originally said it would be seven days to process, then it became two months, and now it is 120 days from the time the payment was processed. This is my money, my customer's money and ******************** had no right to enact such an absurd policy. After some research and speaking with some other merchants, I am finding that the list of issues with STRIPE is continuing to grow. I have reported Stripe to the ************************ and plan to do what I can to protect businesses and consumers from Stripe's consumer and merchant abusive policies. It appears they have gotten too big and think they can do whatever they want to people. This is America and no bank or processing company has a right to hold money hostage that belongs to the merchants and the consumer. We must stop these institutions from exercising the control of financial resources which is in fact the definition of communism.#boycottstripe #strippedbystripe

    The absolute worst customer service on the planet. I've contacted their link oer several months to get help with a basic login issue and they have no chat or phone number to contact anyone.If I could give less than 1 star I would. No one should be doing business with them.

    Horrible customer support. Cannot get a call from support anymore. It is either email or wait in a chat queue for 55 min.
