    Stripe has awful customer service. They are not allowing my business to operate on their platform because they claim that my business fall into their restricted business categories. This is untrue, and there are many businesses just like mine operating using Stripe, with no issues. I cannot get a human being to look into the matter, but rather get their generic canned responses which continue to not answer my questions or engage with me. They couldn't care less for their customers.

    Stripe is holding my business hostage. They keep claiming I need to verify my business account. Ive been in business with Stripe for 5 years and suddenly they dont believe my business checking account is mine?? Ive submitted all they asked for and more. Yet they still are holding my business hostage. They just ask for the same paperwork over and over again.I believe they are targeting me as a disabled female business owner and wife of a veteran. My business will go bankrupt if they dont fix this. And they dont care.

    Ordered from them in July of 2022. As of end of February 2023 still have not received order. They keep blaming shipping company for sending to wrong address two different times. Asked for my money to be returned & they wont return it time after time.In my opinion they are a bunch of thieves.

    Stripe is stealing my money! As far as I'm concerned it's a scam! They abrupltly dissllowed my company to process transactions and I have held all my funds in their accounts. I can not withdraw or refund anything. They disable my account from being able to call or chat with support. My only option is to send an email which has gone 13 outgoing emails from me over the last 45day with no response!

    This company is not allowing me to refund my customers. They are requiring that I compete a wire transfer form my bank to issue the refund and charging me a fee for it. This is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. When I reached out to customer support, they basically ghosted me. They are a nightmare to work with I do not recommend.

    I had used stripe for many years without any issues until recently. Then due to a few client chargebacks for services provided which I won the last few due to evidence I provided. They wanted to set me up on a reserve account. I understood and continue processing then they kept adding to my reserve account and debiting my account instead of processing funds need out of reserve account. I've tried for last few months getting through customer service but with no luck or resolution. They held funds in both my payouts and reserve account. When I call they seem to not even understand there own system. I've been forced to change processors and block them from my account. I believe this firm is committing fraud themselves after reading all these reviews. Please save yourself and do business with a different processor. To this day they are still holding my money with no response or resolution from customer service. I may be forced to take further action if resolution not reached in the near future.

    I got 1 single disputed transaction and they are locking $7500 of my collected sales up for 6 months...I can't refund my customers and recharge them on a new processor. They just stole the money and locked it up. Oh and they withdrew $1400 from my bank account causing it to overdraft and go -$800.Now I can't pay my employees that have family members and depend on me and my clients can get a refund even if I tried. Very unethical company.

    Stripe is the worst payment processing tool to ever offer services. My account was locked and I was asked to provide documents which was no problem to me, but it's what happened after that made me give Stripe a 1-star. Their customer service does not understand you properly when you try to ************** through email, as if they have hired foreign agents or something along those lines. I tried to have the Stripe customer service elaborate what's going on with my account and if they are able to refund the pending money in my account, but they don't break down details for you at all. They are very unhelpful, keep detail very vague even though it's something important on the line with your account at risk, but they don't care. There's a deeper rabbit hole into my situation, but this just covers the bases of what I experienced. I hope to never deal with something like this again as it was truly upsetting and frustrating. Please save yourself and read these reviews before you sign up for Stripe because I wish I did.
