      I've had ********************** since approximately fall of 2003. I have account key set up so I get a notification to my cell phone when I login. Well last week I got a new cell phone and cell number. I was still logged in yahoo email (stays on for 30 days) so I went to account to add my new cell number and it wanted to send the account key to my old cell phone ************ first (despite being logged in). I was unable to reset my password and my only option was to call their paid customer support line. I have since called them 4 times and even sent copy of front and back of my Texas issued driver's license to verify I am who I purport to be. They still won't verify my identity and remove the account key on ********************** or just let me reset my password.

      I signed up for Yahoo Plus a paid service to get free customer support calls, but they still won't verify my identity. I've had this email for nearly 20 years and do not want to lose it, and would like to be able access my email. I'm at a loss as to what to do. LOL they won't even let me cancel the $14.99 Yahoo Plus subscription because they won't verify me as the account holder.

      If I didn't have a million (metaphorical number) job applications tied to that email and nearly every account tied to email I would just give up and get a gmail account. But I need to access all my old emails too.

      yahoo has been discriminating and censoring yahoo users in Violation of yahoos Terms of Service and yahoos own Guidelines. 1000 s of users are reporting the same treatement day after day after day. yahoo is violating FCC guidelines

      Was forced logged out of Yahoo email account and unable to log back into account. Accounts were created as back ups and I have no way of recovering my email. When all options all exhausted, they forward me to a paid customer service link.

      I've been unable to login to my yahoo email for the last 3 years, due them requiring a phone number verification that I no longer have access to. I have both the email address and password, I just get stuck on the verification part.

      This has been the first email I've ever had, and has files, emails, and other verification codes that I need. It's ridiculous that I've been randomly locked out of my account.

      I am locked out of my Yahoo account, as the phone number used for verification is no longer in use. When trying to talk to Yahoo customer service I am told that I have to pay $4.99, this is ridiculous. Why must I pay to change the phone number associated with my Yahoo account!?

      Hello! I use two different Yahoo accounts for email, changing the password for both accounts on June 22, 2022. One account (_______**********) has no issues signing in with the new password. The other account -- ___________********** -- I can no longer access even though I was able to access once, with the new password, which I specifically wrote down before changing and checked multiple times that it was the correct, same new password for ___________**********.

      After hours and hours of repeated attempts to access my account on different days and times through help.yahoo.com and two separate phone calls for support to ************** (one call lasting over 40 minutes and another over 47 minutes), I am still locked out of my ___________********** email. I am unable to get into the account to reset and change the password again, which is supposed to be free.

      I would like to access my ___________********** account again. Please help. Thank you.

      I appreciate the Yahoo Team's promptly contacting me to investigate and assist and the BBB's assistance in this matter. The email address in question was needed, and I have provided it to the Team. I hope the Team is working on resolving the issue. However, since I have am still unable to access my decades-old account, which I use frequently, I cannot reply with "accept" yet of the business's response.

      Yahoo is holding my email account hostage by making me a pay a fee in order to reset my password. Over the phone (7/8/22), they told me that the only way I can log into my account again is by paying them money to add a second/backup email to the account. I already have my phone number tied to the account and verified that number (and my identity) with them over the phone, but they said this was not enough and that I'd need to pay a fee to access to my account again. They kept reiterating that Yahoo Mail is a free service, but I cannot use it without paying a fee to reset my password. It seems like an FTC violation.
