  Doesn't deserve 1 star for the inability to be contacted and won't issue a refund. Can't get there harassing pop *** off my computer and suspect they deliberately infected my computer with malware. Also had to close a bank card due to suspicious activity that I think was total av.

  I've tried to cancel their protection but to no avail. I've been charged twice a month fir a year or month. I charge is *****. The other is ****. I try to cancel but it's impossible.

  Absolutely slipshod and a sham of an operation. I am seeking the return of funds wrongfully removed from my account for a subscription that has not expired. After four attempts to customer service I am no closer to a resolution. I have been met with offerings of discounts and freebies. The refund query is a joke. Too bad I can't rate them lower than one star!!! Don't do business with this company!!*************************

  Total AV is should not be allowed to operate as a company. It has taken 3 years to cancel my subscription with them. I initially joined as the rate was very reasonable the first year, something like $40 for the year. Then they did an auto renewal for $130 for the following year. I Contacted them to cancel it and receive a refund. Their policy is if you dont contact them within 30 days, they do not provide refunds. I said fine, keep the service for that year but I asked to cancel the auto renewal. Of course they did not take the auto renewal off and I was billed again. I then canceled my service outright. I then had a new renewal for some $140 the following year . I had canceled this service per what there website required, I have just received a conversation with one of there representatives saying you need a special link from them and canceling on the website does not really cancel the service!!!! Not sure where this company is based, certainly not legitimate.

  Purchased their package on Saturday. Within an hour the credit card I used was compromised and ******************** canceled access to my card and issued a new one. That Total AV purchase was the only thing I used that card for that day. When I tried to inform Total AV of their Security Breach the HEAVILY accented phone bank operator just argued with me and refused to put a Supervisor on the phone.This is a *************** with a Venice CA address having phone operators in ***** handle their ***************** I strongly suggest anyone ******* putting their computer security in this Company's hands!

  You request to cancel and get a refund within their policy terms, and they harass you for 46 minutes. You tell them you are 100% sure you want the refund and will not be using their company again because of their awful customer service. **** didn't bother to remove quotations around the information he was copying and pasting into the chat. Told me I would get an email to confirm some information to get a refund and cancel my account. I never got the Email and he disconnected from the chat. -1000 out of 5 stars Spent 46 minutes in an online chat to be offered the same service at 6 different price points after I told them I was charged for two whole years I never used, and just wanted the money back that I was charged for Today for the new subscription. STAY CLEAR of this company

  This company went from 5 star to 1 in my opinion due to scam they running to customer after you pay for services. All they agreements is solely base on website screen promises, that are never made to your email box. They play cat an mouse game with hoping that mouse will never complain. They offer you unbeatable price deal of $49 a year as long as you agree to auto renewal(again no signed agreement delivered to your email) and after 1 year they charge you $179. I made mistake to trust them and to trust PayPal who was always before on customer side. They charge me $179, after 1 year and when your try to tell PayPal that it should be $49 they gave you link to billing section TotalAv. The link only let you sent email and replies telling you to go to website where they play with you game until you give up. They offer you discount, offer you $49 for next year, offer even $19 and when you refused they rell you that they will charge $17.99 for 1 day and cancel and give you money back. Guess what, so far no email confirmation and no money back. Make your own judgment back on the facts above.

  I signed up for a free trial and I keep receiving this message...."your account is being upgraded. Please allow up to 30 minutes. It been 2 days. I am unable to find an email contact to help with this.

  Its a piece of ****, first it wouldn't start, had to uninstall, reboot, reinstall 5 times. i finally got it running and it was using 60% of my CPU. fixed that, next day it wouldn't start. I finally removed it and went with McAfee.

  I paid for and downloaded TotalAV on my computer and it worked fine for a while then it stopped working. I've gone through this several times. I'd give it one star for trying.
