    My experience has been the same as described in other reviews. I canceled my account today after a huge run around. However, I don't trust that it has actually been canceled. I took screen shots of all of my communication with them for future reference, blocked my credit card and called my bank. Fortunately, my bank is familiar enough with this company that they had already flagged the charge as fraudulent.

    Illegal Billing My subscription ended in 12/2022. When I clicked on renew, I was offered a discount of $29.99 for the year.I accepted and supplied bank info.My bank called the following day to confirm $159 withdrawal from this company. I told them to reject it!I called Totalav and got a representative on the phone who said I needed to pay $159 despite the information above.I emailed them and got apologies and more offers which I refused. The last offer was for $9.95 month which I refused again and once again told them to close my account In late January 2023 I got an email stating I hadn't loaded the program. I responded by stating my account was closed.In Fed 2023, they attempted to take $9.95 from my account and my bank reversed the charge Today Mar 13- there is another $9.95 charge pending. I am notifying my bank to close the current debit card as the charge is fraudulent!Avoid this company at all costs!

    Total AV makes it near impossible to cancel an account. They hide the cancelation button and then make you go through multiple steps to cancel including talking to a person who makes you wait 3 minutes between talking with you and then ignores your requests. Worst I have ever experienced.

    I was getting a lot of unwanted ads showing up on my iPad during morning news reads. I somehow got sucked in to an article that talked how to block them which led me to Total AV. I purchased what was thought to be a one year Total AD Block subscription for $40 for one year. This was worth a try I thought. I downloaded it and it worked, actually pretty well. When my Bill showed up for $40 three times plus a monthly subscription fee, I tried to contact them to address and correct this. This turned out to be a fruitless effort. I finally contacted my credit card company and after discussing it with them, they protected me due to the number of complaints with Total AV as a fraudulent company. Unfortunately, they closed my credit card account rather than wasting time with Total AV. I got a new card by ***** in two days, but it was my primary card for so many things. It cost me wasted time to migrate all the recurring charge accounts to the new number. I would highly avoid Total AV based upon this experience. BTW, I am a CEO of a small business.

    How I wish I had consulted these reviews before I got involved. These experiences are the mirror image of what I'm going thru now. I am in the process of waiting for that 30 minute window to end and judging from these reviews, I see it wont solve the problem, just exacerbate it. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

    When I told TotalAV I did not want their product, they charge me $119 anyway, and when I complained about that charge, they sent me a nonsensical PDF file attached to their email to scare me. That's the kind of file that could contain a virus.That was their only response to my complaint about the $119 charge.To me that is criminal intimidation.Be forewarned.

    Here is a link to the nonsensical PDF file they sent me and they're one and only response via email.****************************************************** It's titled " make today matter" solutions systems and support to help women ...Nonsensical to the issue of a refund.This is the kind of file that can contain a virus.That is what their software supposedly helps you be protected from.I consider this and intimidation to purchase their product.

    After dealing with this rip-off company for one day I cancelled my subscription. Paid by **** and was told my credit would be to my PayPal account. NOT! Upon reaching an agent today I queried this action and was rudely disconnected. Contacted my credit card company to see if I could block any further charges from them. Agent told me 5 more attempts to charge were placed on my account while we were talking. Had to cancel card and have a new one re-issued. Tell everyone you know not to do business with TotalAV! Sadly this site was advertised on ************************* site. Had respect for her before but no longer. Watch out! There are EVIL crooks out there just to rip you off. I will also file this complaint with the CA **** of ******** Affairs!

    For 2 years I have attempted to get a refund for double invoicing and payment. They have my credit card information and in January of 2022 and 2023 they charged me $119 plus they have been taking $14.99 per month. I contacted them and nothing has been credited. i have seen that they have a $19 per year subscription. I have not only been overpaying but I am being doubly charged. I finally stopped the autopay. Now, they have suspended my account. I feel that they are scamming me. How can this be fixed?
