I placed an order on 4/21/22 for a pair of 50lb dumbbells on the website for $92 with shipping charges of $58. I was told it is in not stock and that it will ship out once they receive more in. It is now 1/13/2023, It is now 9 months. I've called multiple times asking for a status and was told there has been a delay in them receiving products and now within the past few weeks, they do not even answer their phones. I'd like to get an update on my order and if it cannot be fulfilled, I'd like a refund including the shipping costs.Initial Complaint

In October of 2022 we ordered a pair of 100 pound dumbbells from Trugrit fitness. The order number is *******. The payment of $299 was taken off our credit card. After several weeks with no info or tracking number provided, we attempted to contact the company. Getting them on the phone is impossible so we sent an email. We finally received a response saying the dumbbells would be shipped at the beginning of November. No info or product arrived so I sent another email. The response was that now the dumbbells would be back in stock by mid December! Mid December came and still no info on our order. On December 19th we requested a full refund be returned to the card we used for the purchase. On the 19th we received an email stating the order was cancelled and a refund issued. It said to allow **** business days for the refund. No refund was issued in that time frame. We have sent other emails requesting our refund and have been met with no response. Our last email sent yesterday stated that we would be contacting the Better Business Bureau if no refund was issued within 24 hours. I ordered 2 pairs of dumbbells (25lbs and 60lbs) from Tru Grit Fitness on 10/21/22. I was charged in full at that time. At the time of purchase, all items were shown to be "in stock" on the website. One pair of dumbbells (25lbs) was delivered on 11/10/22. On 11/27/22 I received an email stating that Tru Grit Fitness was still working on the other pair of dumbbells (60 lbs). Several days later I called customer services and was told that the dumbbells were backordered until "first week in December." On December 15th I called customer service again and the agent assured me that the dumbbells would ship "today or tomorrow" (12/15/22 or 12/16/22). I have called the same customer service phone number 4 times since 12/15/22 and have either been disconnected or requested a callback which has not occurred. I do not believe that Tru Grit Fitness has or intends to send the second pair of dumbbells. I have disputed the charges for the missing items with my bank.Initial Complaint

Transaction was November 15th. Still no product and no estimated time for delivery. Have been told on three occasions, at least three weeks ago that the order was on the truck and on the way but could not provide tracking. Since the last time, they will no longer respond to emails or phone calls, despite calling (no less than 20) and emailing (9 follow up emails). Tru Grit Fitness charged me $79.99 for shipping on product that was never sent. I had been waiting for the product to be sent for 5 months. Upon calling to have a refund issued, I noticed the refunded amount did NOT include the original shipping charge of $79.99. Date of the transaction: July 23rd The amount of money I paid: $1729.38 Order #******* I pre-ordered 40,45,50,55,60,65,70,75,80 LB dumbbells (pairs). but I only picked up 80lb dumbbells. And I didnt get the rest. They gave me the wrong information, so I had to drive back and forth from LA to ********* twice. So they offered me a free shipping so I accepted it. I was waiting for the shipping but there wasn't any update. In November, whenever I called them, they kept saying it will ship today, it will ship today, throughout the month. But it was all lies. The customer service lady kept lying so I said I wanted to talk to the owner but she refused it and hung up the phone. So I found out the owners name and phone number but when I called him, the owner said hes not the owner.Yeah... the customer service lied, the owner lied, everybody lied. I found out some other workers phone number and he confessed that the products are no longer available. So I asked for a full refund. But they didnt send the money and are not responding anymore. On November 9, 2022, I placed an online order with Tru Grit Fitness for a pair of dumbbells. The order totaled $146.32 and posted to my credit card account (via PayPal) on November 11, 2022. On or about November 18, 2022, I contacted Tru Grit Fitness via telephone number ************ and reached their automated answering service. This service allows for a call back to the telephone number from which a call is being made. On or about November 21, 2022, I received a phone call from Tru Grit employee *****, who advised that my order would be shipped by the end of November or early December.On or about December 2, 2022, I attempted to contact Tru Grit Fitness via telephone and again utilized the automated answering system. I tried numerous times over the following week to contact the office for a specific shipping date, but to no avail. On December 9, 2022, I sent the following message to Tru Grit Fitness *** ************************* via LinkedIn:Since no one from your company bothers to call or email me back, I figured Id bother you with this issue. On November 9, 2022, I placed an orderI still dont have my dumbbells. *** placed numerous calls on your automated system for calls back and sent emails as well. No one sees fit to contact me back. Instead of waiting on my bank to resolve my dispute with your company, Im requesting that you cancel my order and refund my money. Its a shame the situation has come to this. I have to reach out to the *** because his employees dont value their customers. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. I look forward to your response. Also on December 9, 2022, I received a phone call from ****** She said my order would be shipped by Friday, December 16th and she would confirm said shipping with an email. I received no such email. I received my order of a weight bench on 11/29 and the item doesnt function properly and I am looking for assistance in resolving this issue. The incline backrest does not adjust positions properly since the metal pin does not align with the appropriate holes due to manufacturing issue. In the packaging, I am also missing pieces of the nuts, bolts, and washers required to assemble the equipment. The pieces I did receive appear to be incomplete in quantity as well. I reached out to customer service and havent heard anything back in over two weeks. I have emailed 3 times and called the customer service number 3 times and have never been connected to a representative. The order number is #******* and I spent $289.36 on their website. I would like assistance from BBB to either get a replacement package sent that has necessary equipment for assembly and functioning properly, or contact from the business to help resolve this issue. If a replacement is not possible I would like a refund for this transaction to the original payment method. If any more details are needed please let me know, thank you.
