If I could give zero stars I would. I thought I was in good hands as one of the workers showed up and found where the leak was coming from. They then dropped off a dehumidifier to dry up my kitchen all while not turning off the water to the leak. So I still have a leak and probably getting charged for the equipment in my house. Worker stats it would only take 2 days to fix the whole thing like Im clueless on a tear out and re build of my kitchen island and floor. The next day another worker came in and pretty much went against everything she said as he stated he will take his time since I was in a rush yesterday as I wasnt in a rush and she was. The most asked question was whats your deductible and trying to get me to replace my whole house floor re done. This is by far the worst service I have ever seen. All while just trying to sell me more things so my insurance could over it all.

Install $100 Angle Valve plus an hour of labor charged me $550! So I call for an itemized list of charges and they dont do that! Why? What are you hiding? Its unfortunate this company is taking advantage of people this way. Yeah all my troubles and my money are down the drain!

Please, if you ever take the advice of a review, do not use Roto Rooter they are the worst plumbers in **********! Especially ******* *******! They charge me $6000 for a job that did not need to be done. Ive been begging them for pictures of the job and for the original summary I am seeking legal counsel, and still have not received the photos or the summary, they are terrible. They promised to call you back and never do dispatch never calls you back when they say they would the job supervisors ****** and *********** never keep their word and the whole job was a disaster. I was lied to just to sell the job! It was all a sale for ****** he even was on one knee while he was trying to break the news to me knowing that I was a single female who did not know anything about plumbing I was completely taken advantage of! Theres so much more to the story, but I would have to write a chapter book

Roto rooter is the worst company I have ever dealt with, never return my phone calls and never arrive for appointments, make sure you never use them and find a better plumber. Cant believe they are still in business. I gave one star since the system does not allow zero stars.

***** ************** on Feb 5, **** listened to our concerns, explained what could be going on in our home, pointed out where there was possibly mold growing/dampness, he was clear and seemed knowledgeable, but he ultimately said a manager would be out to help us because he couldnt make a call with the experience he has. The manager came out the next day, walked into my house, he seemed bothered to be here and without any questions, he looked around at what he THOUGHT was happening. He ran my kitchen sink and declared Theres no leaks! Even though that is NOT the problem in the first place. When I questioned if he knew what was going on he said not really. I didnt like his attitude, all he talked about was letting go of other employees (that we had in our home in the past,) he complained about what they had done to the company, and how HE is left to clean up after them. But he didnt really address our problems. Instead, he decided to point out other problems with our water heater, which was coincidentally, a job that their company had done. After he left we had one other person come in to inspect for mold. His reader was going off quite a bit, he said that costly repairs would need to be done, and he said he would get back to us with an estimate for repairs. So far, Feb 7, **** 3:20pm no one has called or contacted us. I feel like mold that was caused by negligence by this company and is now causing health issues is a serious problem and should be addressed, but maybe its not that serious to people that arent affected by it daily.

Very unprofessional and expensive. I was waiting for estimate since September 2023 and finally I received on January ****. They are not responding phone called or text messages on time. Supervisor is worse then the employees. Luckily I hired someone professional with normal rate.I dont recommend this guys.

I think they way overcharged me big time. Also they went thru the back of my house to cutting into the outside stucco wall to get to the kitchen plumbing AND they did not make sure that hole be closed up. They said they would have someone come out to fix, which no one called me or no on came to fix that big hole in my outside wall. I had a hole on my wall for 5 months before I was able to get somebody to repair the hole. I had to get someone else and had to pay an additional $500 dollars after paying Rooter Rooter close to $11,000. Plus they said they had to break my patio cement to get to the plumbing. Now it looks like c*** Horrible work. Now I have to put a big plant pot to cover the work on the cement. I think Rooter Rooter should go back to unglogging tiolets. That would be right up their alley. Also they had to come back to fix the kitchen faucet and tighten up both bathroom sink facets. Sorry I said all this but I would never call Rotor Rooter ever again.

$3,900 robbery! Would give a zero star if I could. Went to turn off shower and the water would not turn off and stuck on hot water. I didnt know where to turn off water to house. Relatively new to area, I called the plumber I had used previously, they could not schedule me until 10am the next day. With hot water still running, I called the first emergency plumber that came up - Roto Rooter. I figured out where the shut off valve to house was prior to their arrival. Two men arrived and determined the valve to faucet was broken and a new valve and faucet were needed. They would need to access through wall behind shower. OK. Quote $3,900. Sticker shock, couldnt imagine how such a sum could be calculated. Needed my water on so I agreed. He said maybe they could give me a 10% discount which didnt happen. Said they would be back at 8am the following morning. They finally arrived at 11am. Two men, two hours each, plus the hour from the day before, one inexpensive **** faucet, replacement valve cut out and installed, worse patch job on drywall ever (mud still drying) $3,900!!!!! They were supposed to send a breakdown of this amount which I am still waiting for. Even at $200/hour labor and overestimating cost of parts, I cant get anywhere near $3,900. The guys were nice enough, the manager who showed up to present contract was nice and said the cost is based on standard data they input. ***** pricing data in my book. This was completely ridiculous. My bad, I should have endured no water and sought a second quote. Never ever calling Roto Rooter again.
