      I recently brought my vehicle (2018 ****** Camry) to Evans Tire in *******, ** for servicing on 09/13/22. I walked in and expressed that I would like an alignment and that I was concerned that my rear passenger brake was rubbing after I installed new brake pads and rotors myself. The man working at the front desk said he would have a look at it and chalked it up to You bought low quality pads and rotors and offered to machine them for me and replace the brake pads with new ones for around $189.99. I obliged, but I thought it was an awfully weird suggestion to machine a brand-new set of rotors that had under 10 miles on them. I picked up my vehicle after roughly three hours and the next day I noticed a horrible knocking noise coming from the right rear passenger side of my vehicle. When I would depress the brake pedal harder it would create a constant cyclical knocking noise. I suspected that whoever machined the rotors did a horrible job and left a huge bur on the face of the rotor which creates uneven contact with the pads and generates the knocking noise. I confirmed my suspicions the following weekend by replacing my rear rotors, which made the noise go away. I would like to think that this was an honest mistake on the mechanics part, but I cannot help but feel this was done on purpose to get me to come back into the shop and spend more money to have the knocking noise resolved. I suspected this was the case because the man working the front desk said I would rather you have me do the job when I asked him to take a look at the pads and rotors I installed myself. I had to spend my own money on all new rear rotors to fix an issue that was caused by Evans Tire. This is very unfortunate as I do all my regular tire rotations, alignments, and balances at this location, I even purchased a 1,000-dollar set of tires from there not too long ago.

      Rear brakes and light fuses overcharge

      We have called the customer several times and left voicemails but have been unable to make contact.  Can BBB please help facilitate contact so we can address the concern?
