If it was possible to give zero stars, I would! This entire banking establishment is a complete joke. It is terrible, does not process transactions in a timely manner holds every single payroll check I have ever had and will not release funds for over two weeks. Ridiculous. I would never recommend banking with mechanics bank.! by the way, I am not a customer of **********************. My payroll checks are written through mechanics bankMechanics Bank

I was tricked into using this place against my better judgement. Every month I submit my payment on time to their joke of a website and every single time the payment does not go through. I have only had this loan for 6 months and I am transferring service providers. Every month I have paid late fees because they do not process payments made! Last month I attempted 3 separate times to make a payment. I woke up this morning to multiple calls demanding payment from them because somehow the payment still did not clear! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!Mechanics Bank

Please, please listen, never deal with this bank or the *********** ************************, ********. I was completely lied to about the truck i got from the dealership. the truck made it down the road maybe 100 miles to learn that the catalyst converter was not on the truck at all, the truck was filled up and on Empty after the first 100 miles the truck was losing pressure after the first 100 miles. called the dealership and was told to take the truck to the shop, took the truck to the shop and was told the truck was in bad bad shape. I called the dealership back and they told me they didn't have to fix anything on the truck and I hadn't had the truck for a full 72 hours. I called the bank because i wanted to return the truck, and the bank said they will get back with me asap to let me know if I should return the truck as soon as they got ahold of the dealership. 6 months later I just got a phone call from the bank telling me it's my problem not there's anymore, I was talked to so rude by the supervisor, it hurt my heart worser than me being scammed. The supervisor lies and said i was talked to and the problem was resolved many phone calls ago. If they only looked at the messages and recorded calls, they know the problem was never resolved. I haven't had a ride to work in 6 months trying to keep my credit in good standings and pay my other bills at the same time is hard on a small income. The bank and dealership are truly scamming and preying on individuals, the only thing the bank wants is there money never mind how you got scammed or how the dealerships sell or tells you false information. Such a great bank I paid my auto loan off after only about a year to be rid of them. Its been 24 hrs since I asked for a simple letter confirming the loan was paid off. Twice an employee named ***** has sent an empty email saying it Includes the letter . Third time is when I hire an attorney to act on my behalf.Mechanics Bank

Horrible company they knowingly give our misinformation and. When going through a financial hardship they do not care do not listen to what to have to say and will say things to stress out the customer out( which they did to me by falsely saying my debit card payment did not go through when it did)Mechanics Bank

Worst place to have your car financed through. I was currently going through a hard financial situation and was getting my car put on repo. I spoke to someone and made 2 payments, was told my car was going to be out on HOLD for repo until 3rd payment was placed in the next several days. The next day or so my car was taken at 4am mind you it was on a Friday. Spoke to that same person I made the payments with, they stated it wasnt on repo nothing on their end was on file for that. I tried doing a police report and couldnt they told me it was on repo. Called mechanics bank back and they kept stalling saying they were going to solve the situation have someone call me, waited and no call. I had no car for 3 **** days had to call off work. This was on a weekend so wasnt able to get a hold of them, until Monday morning I called them still again stalling waiting on towing to call me for my car. Had to get off work to go home and wait for my car to get dropped off. Ridiculous I deserved a car rental at that point, my car wasnt suppose to get repossessed since we came to an agreement on the payments. Worst finance bank ever.Mechanics Bank

Ive been making payments on time maybe once Ive been delayed on the payment, the came to my door to repo my car and I called them to tell them I have the money and they refused to take the money and repo my car and I told them I work Night ***** and ***** said he doesnt care about me and that I needed to tell my neighbors my personal life and to ask them for a ride because that was his car not mine. this is the worse Bank i have ever used. I bought a car thru Auto Nation in ********* **. I was told that Mechanics Bank was their preferred lender not Chase. Sine I bought the car Mechanics has been brutall. I am a former asistant Bank Manager from ****** and have never seen such a badly run operation. Tried to make a payment on the principal on 2/4/23. They would not do it . They sent me an email to Call them . THEY NEVER answer the phone.Mechanics Bank

Mechanics bank is the worst auto loan servicer Ive ever had. They do their best to hold you hostage when trying to refinance by only letting you pay a limited amount a month AND if you dont specify its for the principal they will make it for interest as well that ruins the whole process of refinancing. Tried to call them to remove my gap insurance because I was convinced into getting it by the dealer even though my down payment made it useless and the number they gave me was an overseas number that tried to extort me into paying money to get the real phone number of the gap insurance provider. THANK GOD I NEVER NEEDED TO USE IT OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY SCREWED! Do not do not do not finance threw them. I understand theyre a business that wants to make money but they put money over the satisfaction of their customers at every turn, they are straight up greedy.Mechanics Bank
