I was in an accident on 06/08/2025 and filed a claim with Bristol West Insurance. The first adjuster never contacted me or returned my voicemail. I submitted detailed photos of all four corners of the vehicle, each damaged rim and tire, plus a written loss statement and scene diagram.Every shop I contacted demanded Bristol Wests estimate before they would prepare one. I forwarded Caliber Collisions photo-based estimate to ******** but received no acknowledgment or approved-shop list. After days without progress, I asked ******** to write an estimate from my photos. He refused, insisting on the Carwise app. I complied, submitted a photo estimate over the weekend, and today received an email stating a payout of $109.95without any itemized estimate for review. When I called to request that estimate and to say I would submit invoices for rims and tires Id purchased and installed, ******** cut me off. He said he wouldnt cover rims or tires without a shop-submitted supplement. Tire shops dont submit supplements or work with insurance companies directly as they are typically sublet from a body shop. Despite having provided clear documentation of loss and proof of payment for the rims and tires, ******** is refusing to pay for these items. I have an active policy with bristol west that is paid and I pay a pretty ***** for the coverage I receive through them. Bristol west is violating their agreement with me by refusing to pay for items damaged in a covered loss.

      We thank you for bringing
this matter to our attention. An in-person inspection of the vehicle has
occurred which identified additional damage, and a supplement payment has been
issued. We apologize for any frustration Mr. Keckler has experienced and we encourage
him to contact the claims office directly should he have any additional
      questions.

We received a quote from foremost prior to our current insurance renewal. Foremost was a little cheaper so we paid to switch and made the effective date 5-10-25. They came and did a inspection on the property and on 5-19-25 decided they wanted to cancel our policy due to underwriting guidelines. We called and had our statefarm policy reinstated to 5-10-25 and paid the full balance to statefarm to reinstate since foremost was canceling us. We emailed foremost several times telling them we wanted the policy fully refunded and canceled since they were canceling us on june 26th. They only wanted to refund from their cancelation date of june 26th even though we had our statefarm policy reinstated on 5-11-25. We want the other $483 refunded.

My deceased father (**** ******) had automobile policies with Bristol West (BW) Insurance prior to his passing (8/22/2024). In March 2025 my family discovered BW had taken funds from his checking account for two policy periods after his passing via EFT.I first contacted BW on April 3, 2025, to request refunds. At their request I provided his death certificate, my birth certificate, and a notarized ************ Affidavit attesting to the fact that he had no Will and there is no executor or court appointed representative for his affairs. The Affidavit directs funds due him be issued to me, **** ****** *******, his adult daughter (legal heir). Throughout ****** **** and June I repeatedly contacted BW to follow-up. Eventually, they issued checks for policy premiums refunds (policy periods September 26, 2024 - March 26, 2025, and March 26, 2025 - September 26, 2025; $674 and $681). $124 was returned to his checking account for the policy in place at the time of his passing (August 22, 2024 - September 26, 2024). The original checks issued had errors and payable differently (to the estate of **** ******, and to **** ****** Farrett for the estate of **** ******). BW insisted that was the only way they could issue the checks and wished me luck in depositing them.On June 5th I took the checks to my Schools credit union. Based on the documentation I had with me, Schools honored the checks, depositing the funds in my checking account. On June 10th, I was notified by Schools that BW stopped payment on the check payable to **** ****** Farrett for $681, causing a $600+ negative balance. I have repeatedly communicated by phone and email with BW attempting to get replacement check for the stopped payment. Time and time again I have been told they have printed and mailed a new check. Everyone says something different. To date I've not received the the replacement $681. In addition to the notes attached, I have several emails I can forward at your request.

Bristol West's customer hit my car while it was parked. My vehicle is no longer drivable. There's a third party whose car was also damaged.. Their client was arrested for a DUI. It'occurred on June 8th 2025 around 12: 16 am I have a copy of the police report. This company keeps giving excuses about fixing my car stating that they haven't heard from the 3rd party however I provided the insurance adjuster with his information. I have the most damages to my car and can't get to work they will not even give me a rental car. They sent me a letter telling me whether they decided to pay the full amount on partial amount they will let me know. This is illegal, the purpose of insurance is to restore what was lost.I I lost my car and only transportation to work due to a drunk driver

I canceled my auto policy through a broker who represents Farmers Insurance and was unaware totally that I owed any premium. Never heard from either the broker nor Farmers Insurance until I received a letter from a collection agency last month.

Agent ***** *****, of business Bristol West, with ******** Insurance group at ****************************************** has canceled my automotive insurance policy effective 06/05/2025. As of my writing today 06/17/2025, I am still being auto-deducted the monthly payment for my "officially canceled" insurance. In the Bristol West app, it shows my policy is still active and over the phone with my agent and his office **** they tell me that ******** Insurance is having technical difficulties in cancelling my policy and also difficulties in getting me a refund. I believe this to be a scam, where they haven't actually initiated my cancellation and are not going to return my stolen funds. It is also extremely concerning that when my new insurance tried to cancel for me, no policy was found in the national database! No refund has been initiated as of this moment 12 days after I cancelled, and one week after I was told I would get a refund. I have called a few times and they still admit that I should not have been charged, and that I am due a refund, but also say in addition that they can't update the payment processing system at this time. I asked my bank to reverse the charges, but they are taking *********************************************** not. They continue to charge me for auto insurance that I no longer have, and are getting away with it by lying and saying they're "working on it." They have told me that my account will be updated to my new address (the reason for switching insurance was moving across state lines somewhere else) and my other personal information, of which is not updated at all in their system. Upon removing my autopay agreement manually in their system (which they said they already did) the confirmation PDF that was "provided" is an invalid link from the Bristol West website. Gross negligence with payment processing systems and data is extremely irresponsible for all parties and needs to be rectified.

Purchased insurance coverage denied based on existing leak even though another plumbing company started no leak when they did work 1 year previous. Also the correct plumbers who responded wow a letter that the damage was caused by the water heater explosion.

We are in receipt of your email dated June 16, 2025,
regarding an inquiry received from our policyholder. We thank you for bringing
      this matter to our attention.

After careful review, we respectfully maintain that the outcome
of the claim was appropriate based on the known information. The results of the
investigation found that the damages were the result of a repeated and
intermittent leak from the water heater which failed due to wear and tear and
deterioration. Should the consumer have any additional documentation they would
like to send to the claim for review and consideration, they can email the
documentation to [email protected] with the claim number on any
      correspondence.

Horrible company. I reached out to my agent to let them know my payment would be one day late, I was told thats okay. Went on the next day to find they had cancelled my insurance because of my late payment, so I switched companies. They tried to send me a bill after telling me agent Im cancelling, and they keep ***orting me for non insurance to the motor vehicles services as I talked to the motor vehicle *** and asked why I keep getting letters from them. Remind you its 3 months letter. This is beyond frustrating and none of this should have been happening if this was taken care of when I told them I switched insurances. Idk if theyre trying to scam people for money or what. But I saved all my emails with the agent ***.
