1 starFARMERS IS THE WORST! Their insured Driver side swiped my car. She tried to leave the scene. So my kids called the police, but since there were no injuries a police report was not done But at least he made her give me her insurance information...when I tried to file with her insurance Farmers, she said I hit her. The damage didn't even support her explanation but they refused my claim anyway. I'm in ****** and I was dealing with Farmers in ******** They refused to have a local Agent handle the claim. I sent them a diagram of the area. And pictures and my damage which correlated with my Explanation But their agent was unwavering. I filed a complaint on the agent with his supervisor and they could have cared less! So once a year I post on social media how horrible they are so hopefully it keeps somebody else from using them... And cost them customers ????Review fromKristi D

If I could leave negative stars I would. My house caught on fire January 2, 2025 here we are 3 months later and I am still trying to get my money back from Farmers. They left me in a cold dark house and would not return my phone calls or texts. I had to clean up my own fire damage and call an emergency contractor to come out and board up the hole in the house. I wasnt even offered a hotel. I had to continue to call and text the adjuster to get a hotel as I had to sleep on somebodys couch the first night. Their initial offer to fix my fire damaged home that was caused by GE repairman was to offer me $1500 plus a possible recovery Of another 2300 once I proved I paid for all the repairs. I had to hire a public adjuster which then turned into Farmers adjuster **** *****, calling and threatening me and trying to use strong arm tactics to get me to settle immediately. Now here we are over two months later and Farmers is refusing to subrogate with GE, theyre refusing to pay me back any of my out-of-pocket expenses or time . Even After they refused to help with any cleanup, but yet said they were going to kick me out of the hotel if I didnt get back in the house so I had to spend 49 of my own personal hours cleaning fire damaged walls, furniture, floors, ceilings, and I had to arrange all the contractors to come out and give bids and make repairs and pay all of that out of my own pocket. Delay , defer, deny that is absolutely Farmers method. They did not for one second care about me, my animals, or my daughter and they absolutely just use strong arm tactics to pay as little as possible. **** ***** the adjuster is a flat out liar and I continue to have to provide text and phone conversations to prove that hes lying to try to get my money back after Ive paid a policy and this fire was no cause of my own. Pretty bad when GEs insurance company is calling me weekly to let me know that Farmers still wont contact them to subgrogate the ******** not use them !!Farmers Insurance

My home has been insured with ******* ***** insurance agency of *******, ****** for many years.Since inheriting the property, I have continued with ******* ***** insurance agency of *******, ****** with a deductible of $1000.Learning that I needed a landlord policy, opposed to the homeowners since I now do not reside at the home I had to go into the office and get a new policy.I go in the office get a new policy on Wednesday. Two days later *******, ****** has a very bad dust and wind storm which uprooted one of my trees and knocked over two sides of my fence.I put in the claim and learn that my deductible is now $2500! Mind you I just changed my policy and was told by the representative of the company that my deductible was $1000.Monday morning I called the representative and she tells me that we went over the policy. No, we didn't go over the policy because we meaning I did not see the computer screen. This property has had the same deductible since I've taken over it and there's no way I would've agreed to a $2500 deductible on a policy that only carried $1000 deductible. Instead of Admitting her wrong or trying to rectify the situation because the policy for the homeowners was paid through the end of this month, she simply told me there was nothing that they can do.There will be bad reviews written on ******* ***** insurance by all of my family members and friends because dishonesty in a business is not even necessary.Farmers Insurance

We have been with Farmers insurance 50 plus years and the last 5 months we have had the worst experience with a car claim from an accident. Our claims *** has done very little not answer my calls about my claim. I was told claims ***s hurry to close claims because it gives them better performance rates and raises for it. So they hurry you through and dont care if its bad business. Then they tell you either buy the car back or total it out and take what we are giving you for a low ball but yet your paying so much money for coverage. They are in it to pay the CEO and forget if you ask for a few hundred feed dollars more for your car thats now totaled out. They dont. care if you have a car or not after they take yours. They just take your money and wont even help you they just leave you to what they will give you or nothing. Someone needs to stop farmers for their low ball on totaled out carsFarmers Insurance

Pit Bull Attack - Farmers Insurance paid for my vet bill, BUT because the two pit bulls who attacked my dog and incurred a $1147.26 vet bill, didn't rip MY throat or ear, they denied my claim of two days I missed from work due to the trauma of the attack. I will NEVER be a customer of ********************** and will ALWAYS remember the denied claim in my reviews. P.S. Owner admitted to me that the pit bull attacks also occurred THREE TIMES prior to this one. What has to happen to STOP the insanity?Farmers Insurance

If ya ever pay off a car under #farmersinsurance be forwarned that once you drop full coverage...even after being a reliable customer for years they will drop their service level and make you go to 1/2 year payments with no autopay options! Even with my home owner's insurance through ******* they refuse to let me keep paying monthy autopayments which completely messed up my system and I wound up with a lapse of insurance because of course I also had paperless billing. I only found out from *** sending me a letter saying I had no insurance!! HERE'S THE KICKER!!Nobody else wants to insure me because I have a lapse of insurance and I needed to resolve this quickly. So ******** quotes me for a new policy, dings me for a lapse of insurance and then....AND THEN....offers me a discount for doing AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENTS!! SERIOUSLY!!! When my 6 months is up ******** can say goodbye to my measly liabilty policy...AND MY HOME POLICY!! I AM DONE WITH YOU AND YOUR PREDATORY PRACTICES!!Farmers Insurance

A review has found that Farmers does not require liability only policies to be 2-pay and additionally our 2-pay billing accounts can be set up on automatic draft.Review fromTaryn M

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! If I could give negative stars, I would. I elected not to renew my policy with this company. I terminated the auto pay in mid February and had confirmation on my phone. They still took $300 unauthorized out of my account at the renewal in March. I did not budget for that because our new policy was half the cost and, especially as a new mom, every dollar counts. My account overdrafted -$150 and they refused to reimburse the overdraft fee because their system glitched or something and ACCORDING TO THEM it does not show I terminated auto pay. I go to the confirmation email and it says view documents for the change on the auto pay and when I go into my account to see the documents, there is nothing there except for the cancellation request. I firmly believe they stole from us and are now being shady about it. When I called them to see if they would make it right the lady basically told me to F-off after waiting two hours on hold. She completely disrespected me and my time. AND literally stole money out of our account and will refuse to make it right because their system *****. We paid $2000 in premiums for six months that they did not have to cash out on because we didnt have any claims. She says unless I can provide documentation of the terminated auto-pay they will not reimburse us. But they took all the documents off of my account so how am I supposed to prove that when the email says look at the documents? I requested to speak to someone at corporate and they refuse to give me a phone number and I cannot find one online. The lady, her name was *******, Refused to even acknowledge me and how distressing this was for me. She completely dismissed me & basically called me a liar. I treated her with respect and I was polite. I just wanted them to cover the overdraft charge for the unauthorized transaction they stole from us. Literally $30. After seeing all the 1 star reviews on here, I will never not double check a company with the BBB.Farmers Insurance

This is absolutely the worst insurance agency on the planet. The customer service center is located in another country unable to understand. Once you finally get through to a live person, you are transferred to another person and are put on hold for hours at a time. Each time I've given up and had to call again. You can not speak to a manager EVER.When you finally cancel a policy simply due to frustration, they CONTINUE to send you a bill.A recording while you are on hold tells you if you would like to leave a message, "press one", but nothing happens when you press ******* are they still in business. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE AND TAKE OUT ANY POLICY'S WITH THIS ORGANIZATION.Farmers Insurance
