This company has repeatedly placed duplicate charges against me on my credit report. Ive had the fraudulent charges removed 3 times through both Equifax and Transunion but a month or so goes by and they Wakefield adds it to my credit again. They even changed the amount by $6 once to try to sneak it in and I had that fraudulent charge removed as well. They are not following guidelines even though they have been proven wrong multiple times. As a result of this continuous fraudulent activity against me, I want all my charges with them removed from my credit permanently.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Im not disputing that I owe the hospital money for services rendered. Im disputing the fact that you have repeatedly added DUPLICATE charges to my credit report even though I have successfully had the duplicate charges removed multiple times by disputing them through both Equifax and transunion. The charges get removed and a month later you add them again. Youve even gone so far as to add $6 to the charges to try to sneak them back on my report and youve already been proven fraudulent in that act. You continue to do it. Its fraud. I see by the 600+ cases against you on BBB that you continue to do the same thing to many other people. I will not accept your untrue response to my complaint and I will not stop disputing your lies because you know you are lying. Removing ALL of my accounts with your company is the ONLY course of action that I will accept from you after your constant lies and fraudulent activity against me. If Im lying then please, take me to court and Ill provide all of the details in court and prove that youre lying in front of everyone.
Sincerely,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to *********************************' rejection. Wakefield and Associates, LLC had two accounts in our system listed under the client name, *************************, which previously reported to the credit reporting agencies but were removed when the accounts were closed. These two accounts were reopened under the updated client name, Pinnacle Funds II, LLC, at which time they were re-reported to the credit reporting agencies.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:thats not true. I had those accounts removed because they were fraudulent charges and you know that. Why would only the two accounts that I disputed be the two that happened to be closed and then reopened? And its happened multiple times? Just quit your lying and remove the fraudulent charges and Ill drop the complaint against you.
Sincerely,
*********************************Business Response

These accounts were purchased by Pinnacle Funds II, LLC, and then re-placed in our office under the purchasing name of Pinnacle Funds II, LLC. These accounts were not removed because they were fraudulent charges.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Yes,they are fraudulent charges. Why would just the two charges that I disputed be the only two that were removed multiple times but none of the other charges ever changed? I had them removed every time through credit karma. Remove the fraudulent charges. Thats the only response that Im willing to accept.
Sincerely,

On July 5th I received a text message from Wakefield and associates in regards to a debt from ******** ********************** When I reached out to Wakefield I was placed on a recorded line with ***, who told me I could receive a letter of validation but I could not receive an itemized statement, that I would have to mail them a letter requesting an itemized statement. I asked that in my letter of validation they send me some kind of proof that they own the bill and the last payments made on the account so that the amount is up to date, seeing as I always make payment plans with anyone I have a bill with. The woman told me she does not have an itemized statement of what exactly I have been charged for, nor does she have proof of Wakefield and associates owning the debt, even though they are still contacting me in regards to this supposed debt. I was under the impression that if a debt collector is contacting you, that they have already bought your debt fr the original debtor for pennies on the dollar. But from what this lady told me, they have no such documentation on ever purchasing these supposed debts or owning them. I informed her that I need them to please hold off on this until I receive this letter of validation and I guess I'm going to have to send them a letter requesting an itemized statement even though they can apparently send anything else without my request. In the mean time, I'm applying for financial assistance since I'm drowning in bills and no corporate big wig seemed to care, and was really heartless/short with me on the phone.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I have requested itemized statements for the supposed treatment. Close to ***** is being requested of me and I would like to understand where that is calculated from. Furthermore, if these debts are mine, I would like to see proof of ownership on behalf of Wakefield and Associates before any kind of payment plan is considered or worked through. I am struggling terribly financially, very close to broke and dirt poor, and these people do not seem to be bothered by that. On July 27th, 2022 I made a direct call with Wakefield and Associates that lasted 9m and 45s, during this call the woman I spoke with informed me that they do not actually own my debt and could not provide such proof to me, and she somewhat avoided my request. I cannot, in good faith, set up a payment plan with a company that I am not even sure owns these supposed debts, so I would like to just confirm where I need to go from here. In the mean time, I have also requested financial assistance from ******** ********************** as I have been a long time member of their financial assistance program and simply needed to renew my request with them. I ask that please, Wakefield and Associates hold off on the debt collections until I confirm the itemized statement are accurate on MMCs behalf, and that these supposed debts are truly my own, as these surprise ******** have never been an issue with this facility for me and it's not making too much sense on how it is an issue now. If my issues cannot be resolved through this route and I can confirm these supposed debts are truly accurate I will be in direct contact with Wakefield and Associates to further discuss our next steps. My husband has cancer, I have two kids and receive zero child support although it is court ordered, I am also subject to a court order to maintain a certain amount of hours through the week (about 30 **** in order to maintain primary custody of my daughter. I understand this is their job to collect from accounts that were unpaid on, but every bill I've ever had has been paid on in my life. I am very particular when it comes to these things and I simply do not miss the details when it does to payment plans and what needs to be paid for myself. I do have about 28 bills a month and something may have slipped my attention there. I am simply just making an effort to confirm things on every level. I would greatly appreciate any cooperation, and understanding that I am just watching my own back. :
Sincerely,
