      I supposedly owe money to a medical facility that no longer exists. I've called my insurance and I've paid so much money beyond my OOP *** that they've even refunded me. I owe $0 to any facility and have kept meticulous records. I spoke to someone at Wakefield and have explained this. They said there's nothing that can be done. So, I now either pay over $2,000 in order to get this taken off my credit, or I stick to the facts - knowing that I don't owe any money - and have my credit affected. There is not a manager that can explain the debt further. Now that the medical provider is no longer around, there is no one to call about this, so I can't imagine where this money is actually going (if paid). This is unacceptable.

      Ive been receiving harassing phone calls **** times a day from them for a solid year first asking for someone else and now me, letters in the mail with the incorrect spelling of name and to add onto it Im disabled and have never taken out a loan, credit card etc. from reading these reviews I believe this company targets the disabled and makes things ** in hopes youre in the position to mistake it to be factual and pay them.

      Rude, vulgar and unprofessional. For customer willing to close a debt the female account manager yells , belittle and ignore fair debt collection practices to which consumer protection bureau is willing to file suit against them with reported patterns of bad collection practice.I encourage everyone that has been affected by bad collection practices from Wakefield and Associates to www.cfpb.gov/debt-collection to stop them.

      The doctor billed me in error 6 months after I was in the hospital and I didn't get a bill for 1.1/2 years. The cost would have been totally covered as I had already met my out of pocket **** The doctor tried to get them to remove the collection but even they could not do it. This place is terrible! Charging interest on a bill that should never have been in the first place.My spouse then tried to call to pay on my behalf since I was in the hospital (having a baby) and they wouldn't take the payment since I was not available. Who pays bills for someone they don't know?Rude, useless, and a terrible customer service!

      I have two Bills for $977 and $960 from ************ from January 5 2018 & November 27 2017 I don't owe anything I didn't visit that office and I have Every type of insurance Medicare,Medicaid, VA ****************** Healthcare so I am ***************************** wise. Also "No Surprises Act" is another reason these two Fraudulent Charges shouldn't be on my Credit report.
