    I wish I should post this review without a star. They are the worse warranty company in the world. Submitted a claim on 11/28 for a small motor for my dishwasher. Today is 12/20, no part, no follow up, they won't answer the phone, when they answer the phone I get passed around (currently on hold now for 23 minutes) after speaking to two other people for 20 minutes who could not help and passed me to another department. And this is my first claim after paying for 2 years as well as a $89 service fee when the tech came to my home to tell me the motor was bad when I told him before he arrived the motor was bad. SMH. Worse experience ever!! I'm cancelling as soon as they come on the line.....which might be a long time! I'm copying this review all over the internet. People need to know just how bad they are!By the way, I'm still on hold and taking this time to send this review all over the internet. While on hold, I ordered the part directly from Whirlpool and it will arrive in 3 days. They took my money for nothing for 2 years! Furious.

    2-10 Home Buyers Warranty charged my credit card for a policy renewal without my knowledge or authorization as I had no intention of renewing with them. I also never allow 'auto-renewal' for anything so this was clearly a dishonest tactic on their part. Also, the charge was substantially higher than the previous year, which I was also not made aware of. When I called to report the unauthorized charge and ask that it be refunded immediately since I didn't approve it or ask to renew, their customer service representative said "I had to send an email to cancel the policy" and it would take "***** days to cancel" - another absurdity. The person I spoke with was at least helpful but this was not ok.

    **** home warranty is a very bad **. They just dont care for their customers. Our heating unit stopped working on 11/17, 2022. They assigned a very rude service **ntractor called ******* heating #***##### who is rude, unresponsive. Right at the start he took so much time to even report the part to be ordered to ****. He said that he very busy and will do so within the suggested time frame but he reported our problem and part to be ordered after 72 hours. The temp are dropping and with a senior and child at home, neither the ** or the **ntractor prioritize the case. Now that the part has arrived since 15th DEC, the **ntractor is still delaying our service. When called the **** ** on this, they are saying that they are unable to **ntact the **ntractor and will let me know as soon as get in touch with the **ntractor. I googled on the **ntractor and saw very bad reviews. Looks like **** has not even checked this **ntractors reviews or ratings. they are just cutting **rners by hiring such lousy **.For sure wont be renewing service with them.

    I have been in a renewing contract with **** Home Warranty since I purchased my house back in 2017. This company came highly recommended by my realtor and all their reviews seemed to support the choice going with this company. Over the years we have had minor items go out, such as electrical issues, A/C issues, and even some plumbing issues. **** was incredibly helpful in getting these items taken care of, especially working with my A/C in the middle of an ******* Summer. However this has all changed since November 2022. My A/C unit was showing to have similar issues in the past. I schedule some work and **** Home Warranty per usual schedule for a companyto come work on it. The first company came out and worked on my A/C unit and had it up and running, at the cost of the service fee that **** guarantees. My A/C unit worked one more day than died. We reached out to **** Home Warranty and they said it was fully covered since I had paid the service fee and my monthly fees. They then proceeded to send out 4 more HVAC companies to which all stated they could not touch it because of the last person being liable for the damage. When they sent the 6th HVAC company they informed me that the A/C unit is non-repairable and that **** Home Warranty must buy you a new unit. **** Home Warranty has now stolen my service fee and my monthly charges for November and December which are over $120.00 each. This totals my expenses to over $300.00, for an non-working A/C. Now this seems non-urgent except without my A/C unit I also have no heater. My house has two medically fragile people. This is a health emergency for at-riskpatients and **** Home Warranty company feels that money is more importantthan a loyal customer. This means that **** Home ****************** is not acting inhumanely by now placing two lives at-risk in 34 degree weather. ****'s approach to correct the wrong is to do a cash out offer for lower than the cost to replace the A/C Unit in addition to the service cost.

    12/6/2022 I opened a claim for a leaking hot water heater and was assigned a service provider. I called the provider to schedule the repair and confirmed with them directly. I PAID someone to be off work because I only got a 1-5PM window mid week. The service provider DID NOT show up, didn't call, they emailed once asking if it was ok to come over and I replied in 10 minutes. 3 different people were calling and leaving them messages trying to get an update. They still haven't responded - it's been a week. **** Home Warranty company will not answer the line when you call. They will keep you on hold for an hour then hang up on you. They say they will call back but never do and I've spent days trying to talk with them. They closed the ticket and assigned a new service tech that 2 years ago caught my house on FIRE from a plumbing incident. I couldn't live in the home almost 3 months due to that issue and that's who **** reassigned. The hot water heater is under warranty so I called to get another tech on my own - I've paid $150 to have a plumber come out for the leak and replace a valve but it's still leaking. Now, I'll be paying another service company to come out on my own. I highly suggest you stay clear of this company. It's a HUGE waste of money and of your time. They DON'T RESPOND or have any other ways to get in touch with them. The website often crashes. Their service is so poor and I had them as a warranty company in 2020 - I regret going back.

    As of October 12, 2022 I started a claim with **** to get a contractor to come look at my whole house filter, all the valves around the filter were leaking whenever I tried to shut off the water. The Pressure tank had also failed. **** claimed they could not find a contractor to service my home. I was able to find a contractor to come out and review my plumbing and give me a quote. As of 12-8-2022 I have spent a total of 95 minutes on hold trying to get in touch with ***** services so that I can submit my review. I esclated my claim and when the associate replied that said that I could submit the quote through the customer portal... this is incorrect.. They also gave me a number to call which turned up to be non working. I have tried calling in the AM, NOON and Late evening without any luck in getting an answer. They wont even provide an email address so that I can send the quote. The company has a great racket started. They take your money for services than wont respond to claim request. When the home owner has to choice but to have service done without pre-authorizing they then short change the home owner on a fair repair and parts rate.

    We've been dealing with incompetence and dangerous conditions with **** for 6 months now. They ignored multiple requests to send out an electrician to review a breaker box outage + burn, which an outside electrician informed us was a hazard and running our dryer + stove at the same time could have serious consequences. **** still could/would not send someone out. Today, they informed us that they do not cover breaker box expansions after knowing that this was our issue for several months. The lack of communication and misleading contracts as to what they do and do not cover should be illegal.

    What a nightmare!! These people are opportunist, from customer service to corporate. I purchased out fear after the passing of my husband... had a clear understanding of pricing along with coverage at the time of signing up and paying in full. Things changed when it came time to use.. my air conditioner was replaced with a 4 ton instead of the 3 ton. There wasn't any alterations so it wasn't working properly,found out rainy season tiles were broken without telling me,condensation pipe was left not connected.. so now a year later I'm still dealing with making my house a home again... My husband was an attorney and took pride in our home.... there's now drywall and mold and carpet damage... there was a long gap between the air-conditioner and the stand so that contributed to an increasing PG&E bill.. I also had to have laminated wood flooring replaced in the hallway and living room.. so my house is a mess!!! I thought the person in corporate was helping me but he's biggest opportunist...after speaking with him, contacting me several times,my out of pocket went from $700 to $2,000. I'm not able to reach anyone and when I did, it's customer service, I'm put on hold too be told "That's between you and the contractor, they don't have anything to do with and it's was over two years ago... the unit was installed 2021 it's 2022.. I've tried reaching them since Nov-Dec 2021.. The stress alone has caused health issues and at one point I felt like giving up completely. I've gained strength and have hired a contractor and taking other measures... it seems if you're a contractor or have knowledge of work being done to your home, things should be ok BUT if not your world could be turned upside down like mine has... I don't think much of home warranty's after this experience and definitely don't recommend this company!!!!

    They are the worst. My experience with **** home buyer warranty has been very negative. Their communication to get a contractor to diagnose my problem was good but in my case they needed to purchase parts and their process to complete this is awful. At this point it has been 2 weeks since the contractor submitted to them the part information and the approval and ordering of the part has not happened and they have not provided no update or explanation. I called them yesterday and used the call back function and no one called me back. Today I called again and the person I spoke to after being on hold for 45 minutes couldn't help me and transferred me to another department and another 55 minutes later I am still on hold. Do not use this company.
