1 starI called 2-10 to file a claim for our ** unit on 6-7-24 and was told that my policy has been cancelled since **** of 2022!!! My husband went and Bought a Window unit that day!! I have the receipt for it. As I didn't Believe that it was cancelled, I started to check my bank statements. Surprise, the last payment was made 4 - *****. Then I try to get this resolved by calling them again and explaining the situation to them. My coverage was not cancelled in 2022 but would end **** 16-2024. I received a letter from them with no date on the letter but post marked **** 10th. It states that they attempted to charge our credit card for the monthly payment and it declined. I called them again, and was told that I filed a claim on the 20th, which is a Lie. It was recorded when I called on the 7th, so check your messages. PLUS I HAVE THE RECEIPT FOR THE ** UNIT WE BOUGHT THAT DAY!!! I WANT MY MONEY B**K FOR THE TWO YEARS THAT I'VE BEEN PAYING YOUR COMPANY!!! PLUS THE COST OF THE ** WINDOW UNIT THAT WE BOUGHT. WE GOT IT FIXED OURSELVES AND PAID FOR IT OURSELVES!!!! SO, SEND ME MY MONEY B**K FOR THE 2YRS THAT I'VE BEEN PAYING FOR MONTHLY OR WE CAN GO TO COURT!!! I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY!!! THEY ARE SNEAKY, LIARS AND A BIG RIP OFF!!! I finally was connected to a manager and after giving him my info and explaining the situation to him, conviently we were disconnected. I never got a call back or any response from them. When I called again they asked me if I wanted to cancel my coverage??? What is Wrong with this picture!!! I tried to make an account to get into the website and it wouldn't let me. 1 starI would not even rate them at a 1 star !!! 3 days to get a human being on phone and all they offer is excuses. They are a hard sell but when you need service I find that they do not have enough service providers in my locale (*************, **). THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF and I will not be using their service once my contract is up!Review fromKacy D

1 starIf I could give a 0 stars I would. We have been in our new home for 3 years now. We purchased a home warranty for our appliances. Our microwave started to go haywire and we contacted 2-10 on the 29th of May. My husband submitted a ticket online for service. We didn't hear anything back from them regarding our ticket submission. My husband phoned the service provider on the 6/3/24 they did not answer and there was not returned phone call. Then 6/5/24 my husband called 2-10 and was told that they were going to get another service provider. Some more time passed and I phoned 2-10 on 6/11/24 and spoke with ***** to inquire about the service. He then proceeded to tell me that there wasn't a service provider in my area. I can find one myself and get them to fix. it. If it was above a certain amount I would have to get it approved before they would allow them to fix it. I would also be responsible paying 2-10 a ***** contractors fee as well. I was puzzled when I heard this and wanted to know why the ***** fee would still be required when they did not provide a service. He said, " it's just in the contract". Long story short they did not reach out to us to let us know the status of our claim. It is now 6/27/24 and we still are without a microwave. It's approaching a month since we filled this ticket. I think this is a very poor way to run a business. They are not providing the service that we signed up and pay for on a MONTHLY basis. Being without our appliance has definitely put a damper on our household especially for everyday uses. I'm really hoping the BBB can help us get this resolved and hold this company accountable. 1 starWe have been going back and forth with 2-10 starting May 21, 2024 to replace or fix our refrigerator as June 24, 2024 we are still without a working refrigerator. We have had 2 contractors the first one was not certified to do the work and the second contractor is not answering, returning phone calls or emails but this does not warrant 2-10 to replace the refrigerator according to numerous agents. Today June 24, 2024 the agent wanted to send another contractor out basically forcing our hand to settle on $950 payout that doesnt cover a new refrigerator causing more money to be spent. 2-10 has handled this case very poorly, we have spent a tremendous amount of money trying to upkeep every day items as well as buying groceries almost daily because we dont have any where to store our food. 2-10 does not see this as a problem or the financial burden they are creating all because the contractor said he can fix the refrigerator but by their own policies hes not even meeting the contract obligations but they are not budging and now we are coming out of pocket even more to have a refrigerator by the weekend.Review fromJohn P

1 starMy air conditioner unit was not cooling. I decided to use my warranty with 2-10. I filed the service request on Saturday 3/16/24, and was called by a contractor on Sunday 3/17/24. He made the service call on Tuesday 3/19/24. He reported that he couldn't solve the problem since my unit was a Trane product and he didn't operate on Trane equipment. He told me he would contact 2-10 and get them to send another contractor that was experienced with *****. That contract responded the following week. He didn't even get into the house because I asked him if they serviced *****, and he replied no. He called his boss and was told to leave. 2-10 called me the next day and said they had another contractor assigned. I asked them if they are qualified on Trane, and the agent checked and said no, even though the repair notes indicated a Trane authorized repair person was needed. They searched and found another contractor who visited my home. He was great and found the issue and said he would go to the shop and get anther part and return that day. Their office called later that day and said they didn't have the part and would return the next week. I kept waiting and finally called the contractor. They said their repairman was on vacation! I contacted 2-10 directly, the representative that sold me the coverage, as well as my real estate agent who recommended them for help in solving my issue. Nothing worked! My unit finally was fixed on 4/5/24 after reporting the issue 21 days prior. This week 6/21/24 I had my normal HVAC service and they reported the unit wasn't working right and needed the same repairs that were performed by the contractor from 2-10. 21 days without air conditioning! Naturally I am not renewing my coverage with 2-10 and paying out of pocket to have my HVAC properly repaired, before going into summer heat. Buyer beware.Review fromObie M

1 starIts hard to even give 2/10 one star other than having to for this review. The WORST customer service EVER. DO NOT use this company if you want your appliances or other issues fixed. They turn down issues with more excuses than known. They talk the talk when wanting your business but dont come through with their false promises. Please stay away from this company. 1 starBy far one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. It is virtually impossible to get ahold of anyone when trying to escalate an issue. There is never any follow-up from submitted claims, and when you attempt to follow up, you are stuck in an endless loop. The system suggests you already have a claim, but when you try to log in and escalate the issue, it redirects you back to the home screen. I have several unresolved issues and have spent countless hours trying to get them addressed. I'm at my wit's end and desperately need follow-up from this frustrating company.For anyone considering a contract with 2-10 I'd encourage you to steer away from this, as you'll spend hours and hours per claim, it's not worth it. 1 starIf I could give zero stars, I would. Complete mess of a system and absolutely mishandling our AC request. First off $189 service fee for each request is simply highway robbery for the level of service we are receiving. Every time we call, we are on hold for an hour or more. Each representative does not know of our situation and we need to re-explain (EIGHT times and counting) the situation at hand. Our AC unit is broken and has been for THREE weeks at this point. The first vendor they sent over was incredibly inefficient and unresponsive. So much so that they agreed to send a new vendor. And yet they say that they work with trusted, local contractors. How trusted can they be if 2-10 cant even get a hold of the vendor for any updates?! Now 2-10 is saying it may take more time to order a part, which is no longer being made since the unit is from 1992. Even though the vendor has informed them of this, they still insist on going through the motions. This will take another week. Once they FINALLY realize that they wont be able to find it, will take another week to order the new unit. We are nearly a month since first escalating this issue and at this point looking like another month to resolve. No air conditioning with high 80 degree weather and a baby in the house. Two months for one service request is unacceptable. Their website says service request is typically completed in an average of 5 days. Utter nonsense. Simply said, dont use them. Not worth the money, time, or headache to deal with this level of incompetency.Review fromYvonne B

1 starI think this company is a fraud. They took all the money up front and then when a claim was filed by me for a leaking hot water heater, they didn't have anyone within 60 miles that could or would respond for over a week. They forced me to say I wanted to go outside the contract and get my own service tech, and then didn't want to pay the amount quoted to repair the tank. They berated me on the phone telling me I was ignorant as to the costs and "If I cancelled my account, they would not give me anything for the service call" and the women made it very clear she had the power to do that. Because of their delay in allowing the tank to be repaired it then had to be replaced and they refused to pay for anything again. I finally got a check for just over $200.00 (less my service fee) and again I was ignorant for not reading the fine print in the contract, that I never received, and they would "try" to send me the balance of the allowed amount of $1250.00, But I had better not cancel my contract, or I would get nothing. I e-signed the contract in Feb of 2024 and called to cancel in April of 2024. I was told I had to do this online, or it didn't count. I did and they didn't cancel it until May. I asked for a refund of my remaining balance because it hadn't been a year and they refused, as they had already paid out for a claim. The Sales person "****" said he was the head of the department and he wouldn't give me the company address of corporate officers names. And no one would go over his head to help me with any refunds. This company is a complete rip off. They don't want to help you they just want your money. Their service people are second rate at best and don't want to do the job of fixing whatever your problem is with your appliances.Don't Do Business With Them.Review fromElizabeth E

1 starThis company is horrible! My realtor and I have each been calling this company daily multiple times a day for two weeks, on hold for ***** min+, to request pre-approval for a claim for service. I submitted a request for service via their website, never heard from one of their service techs, so contacted my own to get a quote. But now I can't talk to anyone to submit the quote! In the meantime, there's this supposedly fantastic home warranty that I cannot access and as a result we are unable to use the plumbing in my home. What's the point of having a home warranty if I can't use it? Don't buy this warranty, they are impossible to contact.
