    Continues to take advantage of senior citizen My grandmother is 82 years old. These people have failed to pick up her trash more times than I can count since I began monitoring the situation in Dec 2023 but are still charging her for the service. As of now, this will be the 3rd week in a row in May 2024, that they have not picked it up and when she calls, she just gets excuses and no resolution. Worst service I have ever witnessed and it's sad that they are doing this to her. Completely unacceptable!

    I had a normal schedule of Friday pickup. They picked up my neighbors on both sides. They saw my trash sitting out and even had one guy wave at me and they drove on. I'm paid up on my bill so I'm paying for a service I didn't receive. They are FIRED! I went online and said they didn't do the pickup and I called the office and said they didn't do it. NOT sure what I have to do to get the company to do their job but I'm done! They are not the only trash company out there!

    Over the weekend, pro disposal, customers, who were acquired by ***********************, received an electronic text message, informing them that effective immediately, Waste Connections would only pick up 96 gallon standard containers for trash and recycling. This is a change to the service level that was negotiated at the time that my one year service renewal was made in February, and was attributed to the fact that theyre switching to a truck with automated arms, which I suspect they knew sometime ago.. Technically, there is no breach of contract here, since there isnt really a contract. There is definitely a breach of trust in doing a bait and switch in the middle of a service period. After waiting 30 minutes to talk to their call-center, I was informed that they are switching truck types and so they can no longer except standard trash cans, or bags of grass or bundles of sticks. Prior to signing up for another year, I had spoken with representatives and was assured I could put out three ***************************************** bundles with each trash pick up. Now I am being told that if I want to use my own 32 gallon cans, they must have a metal arm so that they can be lifted by the new truck. In addition, if I want three bags or bundles of lawn waste, I will need to buy three additional 32 gallon trash cans, with the metal arm. So at this point at a minimum, Ill be spending $75 per can, or a total of $225 for three cans or $450 for six cans (If I want to be able to have them pick up the equivalent of three bags or bundles of sticks). In addition, if I want the three cans for grass / sticks, There is an extra charge of a dollars and $8.50 a month, or ~$102 year.So to get the same service level as I had a week ago, I now have to spend an incremental $500. Completely unacceptable. Bad business monopolistic behavior. My cheapest option is to pay the $32 service cancellation fee (Even though its not a contract?) And look for another provider. $&#! $

    Sick and tired of broken glass on my street on days that my recyclying is picked up. I have called twice to complain and hopefully keep this from happening over and over. I have had to sweep up broken glass 4 times now, which is sometimes very large. This is a hazzard for my cars as I don't want a flat tire and also for my neighbors who walk pets. **************** is complete BS refuses to own this ongoing issue. Save yourself the hassle of going with a sub standard company. I am cancelling the service.

    I am trying to get answers about my account. I was sent my contract and it shows a monthly cost of $235. Our bill has increase to $501.30. (Our service is once a week pick up if a 2 yard dumpster) I have received a few quotes and it looks like the average cost of this service is $80 to $100. I do not understand why are rate is so high. I have asked my rep to explain (*********************), He continuously tells me he doesn't know as he just got my account, I asked if I can get a better explanation and he has not provided it. I asked him if we can cancel and he said we are in a 5 year contract that just renewed. The original contract was signed by a former office manager, I am not sure where the renewal went, as I am the current manager. ( nothing on the online portal). Initially it took me 2 weeks to get a call back from ***** after calling customer Service 3 times. ***** told me he gets 200 emails a day and things slip through the cracks. When I was unimpressed with his answers, ***** told me that I can contact the legal department of the company, but has not provided me with no contact information for them. I need help, this company has been unresponsive and continues to raise the price from our contract price, with no explanation. I just want this resolved.

    I am contacting you to inform you of an unfortunate ongoing with your company. On January 2nd I contacted ********* ****** office due to 2 missed pick *** in a row. I was ***et because the customer service representative on the other line informed me that the policy had changed with no previous notice after being with Waste Connections for 11 years. I have stayed thru all the buy outs and mergers. I was informed by this customer service representative that they were no longer picking up 2 cans. Only 1 and the driver proceeded to pick up only my small kitchen can that I put out when I have extra. Not the standard 55 gallon trash. I was disappointed and ***et that this could happen and my trash was now piling up due to essentially 3 weeks of insufficient trash removal. When informing her I needed it picked up or I need to go with another company. The customer service representative proceeded to say Do what you have got to do . I was appalled that after so many years of loyalty your representatives responded this way. I canceled the service that day with frustration and a heavy heart. When I had called to cancel, the representative didnt seem to care at all inform me that I would be charged to cancel and then I received a bill in the mail for $13. I do not understand how a company can be ran like this. I am requesting that this event be looked into further looked into. I believe you would like your company to thrive, however with service this poor it made it impossible to continue with a 12th year of service.

    I would give 0 stars if I could. Every time it snows they dont pick up. The recycle truck comes but the trash truck does not. Whenever my husband or I call customer service they lie about why the truck didnt come yet again. Our neighbor across the street gets a completely different answer as to why the truck skipped us again. They refuse to credit our account and wont come until the next week. Very poor service and even worse customer service. I didnt think it was possible to be an even worse company than our previous collector, but Waste Connections has everyone beat with bad pricing, lies, and treating customers poorly. Run away from this company. Quickly.

    Only good thing is its timely pickup service. Price is still okay as of now although it goes up by ~$10 every Q4 (our bill went from ~$68 to $90 between 2022 and 2023 - acct #************. Not sure if this is a sustainable practice for the company. The things we really dont like:1) No itemized bill or anything. Once we login to our account, all we see is the total charge. So guess the constant price increase is due to inflation?2) No communication or transparency with price increase. Feels like the company is just silently raising the price and hoping we wont ever notice. Even telecom companies email customers about price increase these days, so maybe try to treat customers like how you would like to be treated. 3) **************** reps are very rude. The person on the phone was cold and rude when we inquired about price increase. Basically what we got was You were on an introductory rate, our contract states we have to increase the rates, and we know were a lower cost than other providers. So youre welcome to shop around, but we know were the cheapest option. Why bother having a call center if you dont want to work with customers? And dont think you can afford too many customers shopping around.

    We have been a customer for awhile...years. this company has zero customer service. They sure have raised their rates tho. And for their excessive charge, they only allow 1 bin. I pay my bill through my bank bill pay. It is automatically sent quarterly. They raised their rates, (I did not receive the mailed bill and wasn't looking for it because it happens automatically and through bank). They called Monday afternoon and did not service my home Thursday morning. I had paid nearly $100 but was $30.86 short. I went to pay the difference Wed night and remember the voice-mail saying $30, so I paid $30. Thursday morning, they did not take my trash because I was $.86 short. They gave less than 3 days to make payment, and did not take trash over 86 cents. You have choices...save yourself and choose a different service.

    They have missed multiple collections this year without notification or recollection attempt. Service rep said that is their policy for missed collections... "Not their problem."Then they charged me $35 because my credit card number changed and my auto pay didn't go through. No consideration for being a customer for 20 years. Service rep was unwilling to let me talk to anyone else.
