    Terrible service. Drove right past my curbside trash can, with large Waste Connections sticker on it. Called, said they'd pick up later that day - didn't do it. That was a Friday. On Monday, got a call they said they pick it up today, didn't.

    Im not sure when WCC bought the trash company we had, bet it had been several years. Since they took over, there were multiple missed trash/recycling pickups. Even after calling, sometimes it would take 2-3wks before it would be picked up. Then it would snow an inch, roads not covered at all, and they would say for the safety of our drivers. An inch! This is Colorado and the roads were just wet. Last straw was a month without pick up. Then they tried to bill us for the trash cans. They werent even theirs!!! They were for three trash companies ago. They were literally ripped and falling apart. We have video of WCC picking up the trash and recycling and taking the cans. Stay away from this company. Very shady and extremely poor service.

    I had service with them for years and then called and told them I was moving so was canceling service. I also emailed them and submitted a form online that I was cancelling service. I continued to receive bills so I called and told them I cancelled and they said I was lying and never called (even when I have email and phone **********) and now they are trying to bill me for service I never received and for a cancellation fee. They have the absolute worst customer service as the receptionists are very rude and completely unhelpful.

    I had been a waste connections customer for 5 years and things had been fine. Then out of the blue I get a call that I owe them ~$25. This seems odd as I pay annually and that isn't due till October and it's July. So I call them and they tell that the charge is for extra bags in November of the previous year, I ask why it took them 8 months to inform me of this charge and they have no answer. So I ask for the invoice to be sent over and I go online and pay the amount, same day. That happened to be the same day as my trash pickup. I notice at the end of the day that my trash wasn't picked up. I call and don't get an answer, I leave a message. I get a call back the next day saying that my trash wasn't picked up because my account was suspended for non-payment. I ask how I could be suspended for non-payment when they have my payment through October (again, it's July). They said it is b/c of the payment for the extra bags. So with no previous notice and a same days payment (on a separate service) this company chose to suspend my account and not provide the service I paid for. I chose to cancel my service and then I get the icing on the cake, there is a $27 cancellation fee. I will be moving on to some other service that hopefully will care about keeping customers.

    Horrible customer service and even worse business practices. This company took my owned garbage can. When I called to tell them they took it, they said they would replace it. I have now since moved out of their area and they told me I owed them their can back. Which would have been fine if they would have mentioned to me in the beginning it was just a loaner can and not a replacement to my can they took. Their customer service rep was so rude and told me if I didnt pay for the can, they would send me to collections. Completely ridiculous that I have to pay for something they didnt not tell me I had to upfront. Complete bait and switch and unethical business practices.

    Reliable pick up of trash and recycle but they have raised their prices 42% in the last two years. Not only that, each quarterly bill is higher than the last. Did they think we wouldn't notice? I'm looking for another company.

    This company has completely disfunctional bill tracking. Extremely frustrating. After having issues with them repeatedly raising prices without any explanation or information I cancelled services with them months ago and they refunded the pro-rated balance and picked up the bins without issue that week. I then get charged $200 a month later to my card with no information. I call to ask what the heck this was and they said it was due to not picking up the bins. Which is of course completely false. The lady who answered said it would be taken care of and I asked that all billing information be removed from my account as I am not and will not be a customer anymore. A few weeks later the refund of the $200 charge finally went through. Well now today I get an automated call from them stating I have a past due balance of $200 for the bins they failed to pick up. What in the world are they doing over there? I then spent 20 minutes on hold to have them sort this out once again. It makes no sense what is going on over there and it just adds to the list of issues and frustrations with this company beyond what others have mentioned about randomly skipping pickup days without notice or information and billing issues and changes. I will never be using them again, ever and this time I will make sure they remove all of my information from their system. The previous company we were happy with but ever since Waste Connect acquired them they have gone down hill sharply and continued to charge more and more for even worse service. Avoid this company at all costs. And if this happens a third time I will have to change this from a review to a formal complaint.

    On 12/1 I paid this company $137 for my next months of service. I called on 12/5 to inquire as to why my bill kept getting more and more expensive. I was offered to sign a / yr contract to lock in a lower rate. While looking at the contract I received another email stating my service was being cancelled as of 12/31 due to them no longer servicing my area. I asked about the fact I had just made a payment and was assured the overpayment would be refunded in 4-6 weeks. Ive called several times since then to see why I still havent received this refund. Each time Im told a different story. First I was told it was sent out the beginning of January. Then I was told it was mailed on the 10th of January. Today I was told it was in January 31. I asked to speak to someone in accounting to find out about this discrepancy and was told they dont return calls. I was also told the payment doesnt get processed until the bins are collected. The bins were picked up 12/31. So at each call Im being told conflicting stories. I always paid my bills before the due date. So why should I be waiting two + months to get a refund on service not performed?!? This is shady and poor business
