    It is almost impossible to talk to anyone on the phone. Called customer service several times, kept on hold for over one hour.I sent money on 8/17, it was pending till 8/19 when i got the email that said the recipient had recieved the money. The recipient never got the money. Finally chatted with someone from customer service on the 8/22. Got a case number. Been trying to get updates on the investigation to no avail. It is really frustrating dealing with this company and their everlasting technical issues . I just want the money to be actually paid into recipient's account.

    This company is unprofessional and fraudulent! I sent a transaction and it has just been pending for days. I then got hung up on after holding for 45 min!

    Fraudulent company. Overnight, got itself unauthorized access to my checking account; set up recurring payments to itself; and started debiting my account multiple times, hundreds of dollars at a time. Fortunately, have alerts set up on my bank accounts, but I lost a lot of $$$ while this happened overnight.

    Stay away: my predicament at Worldremit Worldremit deserves a zero-star rating. But I'm choosing one-star since the system does not allow you to give ratings lower than one-star.Money I wired to an international account is not delivered and was not promised a refund not until day #** after I sent it. I doubt I will be refunded based on their poor business practices I experienced.Read my Workdremit predicaments: On July 7, I sent money to an international account through **********************. Worldremit claimed that the money will be delivered on the same day.Day #1 passed, and nothing was delivered. Day #2 passed, and nothing was delivered. Day #3 passed, and nothing was delivered. Day #4 passed, and nothing was delivered. On day #5, I received an email from Workdremit asking me to upload my Identification document to a link in the email. Unfortunately, 1-hour after I received the instructions to upload the document I noticed that my account was blocked.I called Worldremit and it took me over 1 hour and a half to speak with someone. The person (******) asked me to send my driver's license via email, which I did. After a hold, the person told me that the money will be released to the recipient on, the same business day, today. The person also told me that my account will be reactivated within 1 hour.In my further predicament, only 30 minutes passed when I received an email indicating that my transaction was "canceled" and I will not be refunded until another 10 days, which is day #** after I sent the money.This extreme delay and business mishandling is not only an inconvenience to customers but also creates trouble.

    I have used World Remit since 2018 to send money to relatives or friends. I got an email saying my account was permanently disabled due to their security reviewing process. It took me three tries of being on hold for ***** minutes to reach an agent who reiterated that my account will be closed and I can never use World Remit ever again. This was communicated in a manner that I find offensive and demeaning. Like does World Remit think it is the only money transfer business on the planet?Secondly, how rude and unprofessional to send loyal customers who have supported your business (when it sprang from nothing and literally spams emails and texts with transfer rates) that their accounts were permanently disabled in one sentence? This company is a joke!

    Was with them for years and then my account was hacked from their website. Went back and forth for days trying to get money back and finally get everything resolved. They take no responsibilities of anything and their customer service was awful. Try to trust them again and after a few months, I could not get into my account. When I called them, and waited 20 minutes for a service representative, they told me that my account was not usable because I did not meet the requirements as a customer. I! I did not meet the requirements of a customer! Really? Use ANYBODY else but them!

    I requested a refund after the transaction stuck in in progress status. Waited more than 12 hours and still the money is not credited. Sent $1000 but they said they cannot cancel it since it is already in their local partner. Then they should contact their local partner to refund my money. Up to now still in process.

    Strongly recommend using a different platform. Been using thier services for 1 1/2 years to provide direct help to the poor for food and medicine. Recieved an account disabled email out of the blue saying I "don't pass their security requirements". What on earth does that mean? phone number on email was nonfunctional. Had to look thier general 800 # on internet. **************** said security reviewed and dicision is non reversible but won't give a reason other than to read the Terms and Conditions. I read the T&C's and there was none that I broke that I see. Just used thier platform to send money to those in need. It is obvious they have made a mistake or something occurred on the recieving end perhaps that they may think is me. I don't know.. They refuse to discuss or resolve whatever it is they thing happened. Wrote an email to owner ***********************, but doubt I'll hear back.

    I made the mistake of using WorldRemit and I'm probably out $100.00 for the learning experience. I believe it's an internet scam that should be shut down.
