  I have been using WorldRemit for a couple of years now, couple of months now, I have been noticing that my recipient have not been receiving the money, first of all they keep telling me stories on top of stories, will be taking my business else where.

  This company is horrible!!!! DO NOT EVER TRY TO USE THEM!! They will steal your money!!!!! Without an explanation, horrible service been on the phone for 2 hours !!!!!! Omg I cannot..

  I started a money transfer with WorldRemit, the money purpose is to help with family medical bills so they can continue with treatments, the transfer was initiated in 12/08, today is 12/14 the money was not transferred and not back to my account either. Their customer service manager lied about sending me emails (never received) they lied about timelines. Their customer service access is horrible, about one hour on hold every time you call, they offer a chat support which gets "disconnected" when I ask for my money status. This organization is misleading people with false information.

  I did not go directly through World Remit but they almost got me! I actually posted a complaint on ******** Airlines and was told to go through WhatsApp to chat with someone and because I was not letting down on questions not being answered they (they being ******** Airlines) finally told me we will refund you the entire amount for the inconvenience of changing your flight which included my hotel, car rental etc and I knew then something wasnt right. I was told they were transferring me to a manager who then told me I had to go through World Remit for immediate refund. I then went back and forth telling them I was not going to put in my personal information etc and I questioned them on why this was the only way they could refund my money and I could tell he started to get upset and finally asked if they could mail me a check and he said it will take 35 days can you actually wait 35 days? I said I was okay with that and he got all crappy with me and kept telling me just fill in the information and you will have a he money right now. I opted for the check and he hung up on me. So they are obviously and fraudulent company!

  WorldRemit is a suspicious platform, double dipped my account over $4000 and only received one reversal back. Was told the first time the transaction was manually reviewed and declined . However the ** team spoke to review team real time and despite this the second transaction failed and the account was closed and they kept the money. I got my Bank patched into the call to with ** to confirm they dont have the funds? WorldRemit will hold your funds for 3-7 days and claim its your Banks Fault. Use them at your peril. No escalation process or available Manager to address concerns. Totally unprofessional and incompetent driving a lack of trust when dealing with large sums of money. There goes my Holiday money for next week. Waiting for an alleged call email and call back? Sad ??

  I sent money to a friend of mine to *************** for $100 + .99 charge so total to $100.99. I made a mistake on the payment information using my friends debit card instead of mine so I asked them to cancel. It was successfully canceled, so I thought. When my friend asked me why there was a ******** taken out from her account and returned ********. Why cant they just refund the full money they took out???? It has been weeks now and now they wanted an actual bank statement?? I will never use world remit ever again

  If there was a number less than 0 that could be awarded to rate this company that would be more accurate . I have used world remit for years now ( occasional use) - and I have always been happy with their services and so when my elderly father was visiting and wanted me to drive him to ************* for him to transfer money urgently to a relative, I told him about world remit and convinced him to sign up for their services. He did - we went through the entire process - as directed and he was informed that he had approval as a member. He transferred the money but was informed the following day after transfer - that he didn't meet the requirements needed to use world remit and so his account had been canceled . We called - 3 times each time having to hold for >30 min before talking to anyone - they would not give a reason for canceling his account - and the money which needed to be transferred urgently had been withdrawn -and would be returned in ~48hrs . The customer service rep just kept reading whatever verbage she'd been given to read. I am utterly appalled that this could happen to my father - and without any explanation that makes sense . His aim was to have the money sent before the end of the month . 72 hrs after the transfer and we are still waiting for the money to hit his account.

  Considering the type of behavior, I don't even feel like contacting customer service, as mentioned in their email, as I see the whole situation as part of a scam. Today, after they requested all my personal information (including photographs of identification documents), and after verifying my account and collecting the amount from my bank, Worldremit sent me the attached email stating they were canceling the transaction and my account without providing a single specific or logical explanation. I have never had any problems with any transaction or any financial institution as all my finances are completely transparent. Unfortunately, I listened to a friend who recommended this service to me because it was more affordable. On the other side, I have a very disappointed recipient who was relying on the process and expected the promised amount within the time frame. Now I have no choice but to pray that they actually refund the amount I sent. Please stay away from WorldRemit.

  I agree with all of the reviews below. I was paying school fees for a niece. They claim that they will send the funds within minutes but the funds have yet to arrive. In my account it says it will take 5 days. I'm not losing my money. I'm hiring an attorney. Some people just need to be taught a ******* I should have read the reviews before. I used them 3 years ago and it worked very well. What happened?

  Scammers! No respect for peoples hard earned money $20 is pending refund and my $1350 is missing. All consultants have a different story! Rubbish!!! *** sent countless emails and bank statements and nothing?? these people are scammers nothing on their app works properly and they NEVER answer calls.
