      I dont know what had happened to the company but it needs to be shut down and redone. Or we need a completely different, more reliable way of handling business because this wont do. I sent money on Aug 28, 2022. I paid cash. By Aug 31 the receiver told me they had not received their funds. I spent 3 hours at the store with the clerk and including 2 hours on the phone with customer service trying to see what is going on. They stated the cashier did the transaction wrong, note the cashier was the manager and said this is how they have always done my type of transaction. I ended up speaking with the customer service supervisor who stated I will have my money back in ***** hours. When I called back to follow up, they then told me 72 hours. Excluding the weekend and holiday! So now I have called back today which would make the 72 hours and spoke to another supervisor who stated it will be another ***** hours!! All of this to get my CASH back for a transaction that was done wrong on their part!! My legal team will now be speaking with corporate. Because this is very suspicious and highly ridiculous. DO NOT TRUST OR USE WESTERN UNION. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Even the cashier at the store said it was strange. Be blessed good people and take your business and your peace elsewhere. I have spent about 5-6 hours of my time total dealing with this. I should invoice them for my billable time the way the have me working to get MY CASH money back.

      Horrible, horrible, horrible. Took all my info, still couldn't create an account, and then refused to cancel my account until I raided h**l and demanded a supervisor.

      This company is fraudulent and a scam. I have been sending money for over 12 years to my family overseas. It seems their policy has changed, as when I have sent money lately I have encountered many problems. This is left my family hungry for the last time, as I am the sole provider. I will cancel my account and I refuse to do business with this company. A loyal customer who has sent over $100,000 in the use of their service means nothing to them. You have to jump through loops just to get a real person on the phone and not an automated robot. If you do happen to get someone on the phone from customer service good luck trying to understand them.

      I sent $2000.00 online via Western Union on 14 August 2022 and today (08/19/2022) received an email from Western Union that the transaction was successful and that the money was ready to be picked up. At the same time I received another email that the transaction was canceled. I called Western Union and all they could tell me was the system canceled it and that I mustve broken one of their rules. When I asked if they could email me a list of their rules the ******** remained silent. I said how am I supposed to not break any of your rules if I dont know what they are? She recommended I wait until my money is refunded and try again. Why does Western Union care how many times I send money to ***************? I smell ** federal government behind the scenes involvement. We really need to take our country back from the federal government bureaucrats. **** Western Union!

      I ended up cancelling a transfer. It took them 2 months to refund my money, and I had to call every week and threaten legal action, too. Finally got my money back, but God as my witness I will never use this company again. They deserve 0 stars! Terrible company!

      I sent money to my country. They did not let the money be received by my sister-in-law. The worst part was when I refunded the money I went to all the money centers in ********** and they told me they don't have the money to cash out they keep referring me to another location and when I called customer service they referred me to one Hour location from my place. Poor services for **** they don't have money. I roam around for 2 hours to get my money. Never again i will use this western union money services. Crazy people.

      I have used their services for a second time sending money to my mom back in home Am the only person who supports her This guys hold my transfer and their reason is ridiculous, I requested cancelation and they told me it takes 24 hours It's more than 24 hours yet I haven't seen them releasing my transfer I would never use their services due to the fact racism is their way of holding our money Me and my family we decided not to use their services

      I have been a loyal customer of ***************************************** for over twenty years. I have been sending tens of thousands of dollars to my friend in ******* and Chaplains in ******* for years. This past week I tried to send $400 to my friend in *******, and it was blocked, then refused. Then I received a message from ** that my account was closed, and I could not do business with them again. The message conveniently went on to say they could not explain why they closed my account because it was against their policy. So, realizing that glitches sometimes happen, I contacted some ** bigwigs, and a complaint file was opened for me. I was soon contacted by someone and told that I had to prove my relationship with my friend in ******* and the Chaplains! For years there was no problem, but now, instead of being treated like a loyal customer, I am treated like a criminal who must prove his innocence. When I asked why they were doing this to me, they said I had done nothing wrong, and this was all for my protection. My friend in ******* just lost his siter and has all four of her children and a funeral to pay for, but I couldn't help him because ** is raking me over the coals. I have been involved with international ministries for years in my church, the ******************************* (*****************************) and we send millions of dollars to countless countries. I will tell them how ** made my transactions unreliable and suggest to the board that they reevaluate using ****** Union. Oh, I did not chose to leave a one start rating. I chose no stars for a company who treats a loyal customer of twenty years like a criminal, but the BBB makes me chose at least one star.       Ive been loyal customer of ***************************************** since 2008, Ive only sent money to two individuals overseas and thats my Dad and my Sister. Now recently, every time I send money overseas to my Dad WesternUnion is holding on to the money and requesting me to upload a copy of my Dads identification, theyre talking about theyre conducting an investigation. This is not a change of policy causing them to do this, I think theyre just discriminating against me because Im sending money overseas to my family. This is unacceptable and also frustrating for my 80 year old Father for not being able to pick up his money. I sent him money yesterday and now they put a hold on his money again and requesting another copy of his identification
